I like how they took the trouble to curve the brace between the seat stay and chain stay. I think those are usually straight in bikes of that type design.
I had a Nishiki Alien back in the day. This might be a rebadge or some special edition.

The bike isn’t elevated. Just the chain stays. Otherwise normal geometry.

There was a few brands that produced bikes like that for a shortish period around 91 or 92ish . I think Alpinestars, Nishiki or Haro started it. I’ve seen some from Decathlon, Raleigh and early french supermarket MTBs designed like that.
From a very fuzzy memory, I remember a thread on some pre-reddit forums listing around 20-30 models of “estay” bikes.
They look insanely cool but are often low quality, with the exception of the pioneers like Alpinestars, haro, alien, kestrel etc(Alpinestars cro-mega DX is a personal dream)

Here’s another, same curved braces. I saw a blue frameset on IG the other day.
Frames like this are highly valued by [people geeking out over a possible belt drive conversion](https://www.reddit.com/r/xbiking/comments/11m2z3h/which_brands_are_known_to_have_made_frames_with/).
