A while back I asked what I should do with this sweet lil pony. Super thankful for those of you that encouraged me to try and make it fit! I love this bike and can’t wait to ride the heck out of it!
Swapped stem for 120mm nitto technomic quill and the drops for nitto choco bar. Gives me a pretty upright sit and ride pretty comfy. Gonna add velo downtube-> thumby conversion for these friction shifters when I’m able and also planning to wrap the rest of the bar potentially. Will also eventually change cable housing and pedals along with some other stuff!

Also have some 27x 1 3/8 tires coming from swift to hold me over until I can potentially do a 700c conversion
What are the bars? Are they totally flat, like no rise?
Is that Columbus Tenax?
I recently picked up a cheap Schwinn Tempo of this same era (85) and it has Tenax tubes. I haven’t ridden it yet so was curious the ride quality.
