So, I managed to find this Rapha Core Women’s Lightweight jersey in size M at a major discount and I always wanted a jersey in their hot pink signature color.

In spite of following size chart for chest dimensions (M is 92cm, S is 88cm, my chest is 91cm) and Rapha website saying it runs true to size, M sadly seems too large (or it is supposed to fit like this?)

Now, I will keep this one because I love the color and it was heavily discontinued, plus the material is nice, but I just wanna know for future purchases – is Rapha Core Lightweight line supposed to fit a bit loose like this, or I definitely need S? The issue is that I have very wide shoulders for a woman (thanks swimming) and my back add to chest measurements, but then jerseys end up being loose everywhere else…

What do we think – is this M too large for me and I should definitely order S in the future, or it is what it is with Rapha Core cuts?

ps ignore the pile of laundry in the background 😅🙈

Definitely size down in the future. I don’t like my jerseys to have any folds or loose areas to catch wind when I’m riding.

Looks way too big. Shouldn’t be any wrinkles or gaps, like the one between your arms and the sleeve. For sure a small in the future, maybe even an XS. I know the medium feels comfortable standing up, but once you are on the bike you will realize how much the extra fabric bunches up around your waist when you’re leaning forward.
