This is one of some of the killer motorcycles built by Kawasaki Heavy Industries over the years. They are featured in the other videos linked in the video and below in the description.

Another great show on a great bike thanks man
Now THAT sounds like a bike I could have had a lot of fun with lol.
I did a lot of road riding and about 4 years of circuit racing (FZR600R & GSX-R 750) so consider myself a capable and reasonably quick tarmac rider, but was only ever a poor to mediocre dirt rider. However I got the opportunity to buy a tatty but cheap '86 KX500. I think it was tuned too – compression was ridiculous and it was generally a pig to start but when it WAS going, hellfire, it was like trying to hold onto a Saturn V that was trying to kill me! It was WAY beyond my dirt skills. What an amazing, crazy, murderous bike.
The motorbike version of Godzilla.

I got the chance to ride a KX500 for a full day once. I think it was a 1997, It was in almost new condition. It had lots of character that is for sure! Lots of power and lots of vibration. I have ridden lots of bikes and that day sticks in my mind still for some good times. Thanks for the trip down memory lane.
Not so sure about the green big bore. I watch a lot of open class races, never even see a green bike. Red ones are out front all the time..
I have a 99 KX500 FS, I’ll put it in the Sacramento CL later today. Its too damned fast and I’m too damned old, besides I moved on to gyrocopters.
The KX is everything it’s said to be, I had a 91 CR500 for about 9 years, sold it and bought a 450.. the newness of the 450 wore off after a few weeks and I went and found this KX500 and it’s faster than my CR was for sure but the CR just seemed to turn better. Both are beasts and deserve their legend status.
Actually the KTM 550 was king. And Maico makes a 700 2T.
I had three over 25 years, each time i sold one i had dreams of the power and rear wheel steering. Dam if they weren't so expensive now!
