Between Sizes for my next bike 52 and 54, Comparing to current well fitted bike—I’m looking for a good balance of comfort and aero positioning. Let’s say my current bike is perfect for me, which frame size is best for my next bike?

Other details Height: 173cm Inseam: 81cm Current bike: Ribble Endurance Al (geometry is kinda race oriented tbh) Bike under consideration: Aethos
By the looks of it the 52 with the same stack, less reach and shorter TT should allow for a longer stem and more aero position but how substantial of a difference is this? Current bike is using a 100mm stem.
On the other hand, the 54 has a higher stack, identical reach but slightly longer TT, I can probably run a 100mm stem still but be more comfortable perhaps?

If in doubt, go smaller. Lift your seat and extend your reach.
