  1. My mother and father bought their own council house, when they died they passed the house on to my sister who had been living with them for years also her son lives with her and her sons girl friend lives there and their baby if they would have not been able to buy their house they would have all been out on the streets. Got no more to say right now about that.

  2. Stop the economic illegal men and we would be able to help genuine refugees more, but we can't take all the 3rd world, just take females and children no males, Labour are corrupt, they have these deaths on their hands,

  3. I thought always thought Jan, Feb, march, was winter, April, may June, was spring, July, Aug, Sep, was Summer, and Oct, Nov, Dec was winter, It must be Global cooling or the maunder minimum like in 1645 and 1715? the summer months are getting shorter until next year, or may next week we may have a indian summer until mid October?

  4. Firstly, love the national anthem. I’m going to start watching this channel.

I personally think right to buy needs to be abolished and here’s why:

1st, we simply don’t have the council housing needed to accommodate the British citizens needing housing.
New council homes are costly to build and if done properly can provide a much needed source of revenue for our councils that in turn benefits our local communities.

I had the fortune to go into a council house on a council estate when I was younger. That council house provided security to my young family and we knew that it was ours til the day we died as long as we paid the rent.
But our council house wasn’t ever going to be our forever home. We wanted our own home so it provided a comfortable (once we’d cleaned up the filth and decorated it) home whilst we saved for a deposit in a private area.

Secondly, Our council, moved a family into a new build home in an affluent area. That lady had been a council tenant for decades, she moved in and in 5 years she claimed right to buy. That new house her family now own because they fronted the money, it was left to them in her will and now they have a brand new home that they rent out.
This is one less property that the council has in their portfolio and it’s brand new.

Currently private rental is not secure to build a forever home and home ownership is not possible for everyone.
Section 21’s turf people out of their communities, when people don’t feel secure in their homes, they don’t look after them as much, which also creates problems in private communities. Which in turn can reduce the value of properties in certain neighbourhoods.

Personally. I’d like to see more council estates, abolish the right to buy completely and profits to be turned to building more infrastructure for communities.

I certainly don’t want any council housing being sold to sons and cronies of MP’s like was done in the late 90’s.
