My favorite bibs at this point are two pairs of Merlin Wear Elite bibs (the house brand of Merlin Cycles) that I purchased in 2021. Definitely not the fanciest brand, but I’ve tried lots of others (Assos, SQLab, etc.) and the ones from Merlin are the most comfortable for me. I think it mainly comes down to the chamois, which is a model from Elastic Interface that feels stretchy but not super thick like the Assos chamois. The bibs from Merlin are no longer available and mine are getting pretty worn, so I’m looking for help identifying the model from Elastic Interface, or maybe just other bibs with a chamois that looks similar? I’ve already reached out to Merlin and Elastic Interface for info / recommendations, but no luck so far. If it matters, I’m 6’3” 175lbs, and I would be using these for everything from 100+ mile road rides to shorter mtb sessions. Any leads? Thanks in advance!
