Yes it does. I don’t see any use for paying for Strava since I get record everything through Garmin anyway. It just auto uploads to Strava, but Garmin does have all the same stuff

It doesn’t track a fitness score or effort over multiple activities. Those are Strava stats. I don’t really use them for anything.
Connect does allow you to track you average speed over a period of 7 days, 4 weeks, 6 months, or 1 year. I have found that more useful.
It also tracks other stats – heart rate, activity time, calories, VO2 Max, cadence, and more.
