before returning to the illuminated Porto Canale for a magical nightcap.
Cesenatico is a port town located on the Adriatic coast of Italy, in the province of
Forlì-Cesena, Emilia-Romagna region. It has a population of about 26,000 inhabitants.
The town was founded in 1302 and its port and canal were built in 1314. Leonardo da
Vinci surveyed the canal at the request of Cesare Borgia in the early 16th century.
