In this episode, I connect with Marley Blonsky, Founder of All Bodies On Bikes, for a discussion about her personal journey, the joy of riding bikes, and the movement to encourage everyone, “all ages & abilities,” and body types to ride more frequently and for a variety of purposes.

    Background:
Hi Everyone! My name is John Simmerman, and I’m a health promotion and public health professional with over 30 years of experience. Over the years, my area of concentration has evolved into a specialization in how the built environment influences human behavior related to active living and especially active mobility.

Since 2010, I’ve been exploring, documenting, and profiling established, emerging, and aspiring Active Towns wherever they might be while striving to produce high-quality multimedia content to help inspire the creation of more safe and inviting, environments that promote a “Culture of Activity” for “All Ages & Abilities.”

The Active Towns Channel features my original video content and reflections, including a selection of podcast episodes and short films profiling the positive and inspiring efforts happening around the world as I am able to experience and document them.

Thanks once again for tuning in! I hope you find this content helpful and insightful.

    1. even more ?? We already have more bicycles than residents, the bicycle paths are already overcrowded 🤣😉

oh sorry you are talking about the USA, yes then you have to cycle a very long way

    2. Inspiring stories with so much in here deserving commentary. Just one: begins at Min 22:25, through Min 44. I am sure that many Van Duzer subscribers (I am one) gain energy from his epic rides and then find great adventures in local rides, like, as Marley mentions, "that 10 mile trip to the local farm" can be "just as life changing an event".

    3. Yes, don’t only preach for your own parish!
I would argue that biking with any body weight is not really a sketchy thing here in The Netherlands. Why wouldn’t you bike with more body weight seems to be our majority standpoint.
