Greetings Cycling fans! In this video we look at the 2003 Trek 5200 that Lance Armstrong rode to overall victory in the 90th edition of the Tour de France in 2003. Was it fair that the victories of the manufacturers were stripped as well? Both Trek and Shimano weren’t on top of the podium again until 2007 with Contador. Let’s take a deep dive on this bike and discover whether it’s a classic piece of cycling history, or just outdated junk. I’d love to hear your thoughts in the comments below.
Happy biking!

Very cool bike and surely awesome to ride! I also have dura ace 10 speed on one of my bikes, although with bar end shifters and currently a 7s cassette via friction. I like it.
More then history – I'm sure part of your soul is in that bike, that makes it a priceless treasure!
I'm sure it still holds it's own today just fine!
めっちゃええねん!
