On August 26, the 71st International Cycling Tour of Bulgaria continues from Troyan to Kazanlak.
Start 15:00 in front of Troyan municipality – exit Oreshak – Patreshko – Apriltsi junction – Sevlievo junction – Debnevo – Sevlievo junction – Berievo – Gradnitsa (activity premium) – Sevlievo junction – Right turn – Gabrovo junction – Draganovtsi – Yankovtsi (activity premium ) – Kazanlak junction (climbers’ premium) – Shipka tunnel – final Hotel Kazanlak – 18:00.
Apart from the participation of the municipalities, the main organizers of the tour are the Bulgarian Cycling Federation (BFC), the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the Ministry of Tourism and the Municipality of Sofia. The general sponsor of BFC in the implementation of the sports event is the insurance company DZI. The partnership aims to popularize cycling in our country and improve the culture and safety of cyclists as road users.
This year the tour coincides with the 100th anniversary of sports cycling in Bulgaria.
