      I owned a Meta Quest 3 for approximately 12 hours. HORRENDOUS. Just so convoluting to log-on etc. when you want to do some flight sim. And as for this ere air-link….a nightmare. Turn your head more than 45 degrees and everything starts pixellating. Not a patch on the HP Reverb g2, certainly for ease of use. Thankfully I got my money back. I'll wait til something decent comes out.

      It will never not be funny to watch people with a VR headset on playing games…I welcome our VR overlords and will be first in line for cybernetic implants 🙂

      hey tech chap, if you forget about gaming for a sec….i want to get quest 2 because i don't really want one to play games, i just want to watch youtube, microsoft word, watching movies on a big screen. do these things look better or more high res on the quest 3?

      My problem is and will always keep me away from this. I do not trust the company and do like the idea of inviting a data hungry company like Meta into my home if I can help it. I do not want even the chance for Meta to have recordings of me in my underwear fumbling around doing dumb stuff. Even less have any connection to them as I do more naughty research.

      I try more than ever to take privacy seriously and keep a private personal space so to say. Even to the point of considering getting another computer to be my main computer, running Linux rather than windows. For me a VR headset is a tool. It should be there to be used and work for me. I do not want my writing programs to report me for wrong think. Just imagine the absurdity of taking out a pen and paper, and when you write a gay romance novel, or draw something haram. The paper goes sending off reports to your local church or mosk. Even if it was the case that they do not do this kind of nonsense. I want to at least TRY to reduce the chance of my tools having even the potential to work against me.

      Just take it a step further. If you break a TOS, say they have the ability to no longer provide you service. Imagine your pen being perfectly functional. However your government decide… Yea you write things we do not agree with. From my understanding, my G2 Reverb that I reluctantly bought and hate to the point of not using for like a year now. However as much as I hate it, from my understanding its simply not going to work after 2026 is over. This is bad.

      I would love to get into VR again. I am even interested in building a small little house ish thing just to play VR in. However I do not really know what headset would be an option for me at this point. I would have gotten the Valve index. However I just can not buy it.

      Perhaps its all a good thing. Perhaps in a couple of years some way better stuff will get out that is clearly the obvious thing to get.

      Anyone use this for vr fitness? Considering getting it for beat saber, thrill of the fight and les mills body combat, heard it’s an effective workout for those who struggle to workout at home. Can anyone confirm?

      Hey, I have a question please. You mentioned in minute 8 of your video that the headset shows a bit of lighting around the nose area; how bad would you rate that, if I may ask. Because I’m considering buying this MetaQ3 but I do want the full coverage area without seeing any reality while having the headset on. Kindly awaiting your feedback.🙂

      Second question: Can you plug in earphones to enjoy better sound in your ears? Playing the hitting colored blocks games would be better enjoyed with great sound ?

      I bought a Meta-Oculus Rift S one year before they dropped their support of this product. The Rift S worked well until I updated my computer. Now two years later and after a year of Meta stupid suggestions for getting my Rift S working again, it's still not working. I have a $400 paper weight that Meta refuses to fix even though they say my new computer should not be a problem. I cannot recommend buying any Meta products due to their lack of customer service and having a chance of the same dropping of older products support. Meta basically has no customer service and only lip service!

      No passthrough with a link cable…. Somewhat useable as PCVR…. Wireless link Sucks OUTLOUD!! fills half of the 128 storage with the Meta software OS! The color cameras and the higher res are nice… But … One of the main features for me was the ADVERTISED passthru and wireless link! So… No… not worth that! should have kept my quest 2…
