In June 2024 after the official D-Day Commemorations had been completed we under took a week long motorcycle tour to Brittany and Normandy which took us to the Portsmouth Ferry to St Malo round the Brittany Coast to St Nazaire before cutting back to towards Normandy to take in some of the sites we didn’t visit 2 years again including CWGC Tilly-Sur-Suelles, CWGC Bayeux before heading to The Longest Yarn display at Carentan Cathedral then to the Table D’Observation overlooking Arromanche & the Mulberry ‘B’ Harbour. After this we headed to the British Normandy Memorial to take in the Standing with Giants Display then the ferry from Ouistreham and back to Portsmouth.
