As for crop tops – I’m still going to wear mine, sorry 😂. I wear crop tops with feminine fabrics and frills, kind of like mini peasant tops? With the California heat they’re perfect for summer. I’ve had a breast lift and a tummy tuck, so crop tops look flattering on my silhouette even though I’m 53… I wear them with high waisted jeans or shorts, to very casual events only. Come to think of it, now I will need a red crop top 😂

I've never liked the color red. I'd rather wear pink, camel, gray navy, chocolate brown.
We all have white sneakers, and they will still look good when worn with our white jeans.
I’ve always been a stickler for correct fit and vibrant color. Nothing too tight. I’ll even buy things a size big to get them altered to fit
I love vests with pants especially and have always worn them.

I've never been one to chase trends. I know my body, my style and what looks good on me and I dress accordingly.
I don’t even CARE about fashion and I still enjoy listening to you talk about fashion! This was fun to watch. I sent it to my Mom, who adores fashion and is probably still mourning the fact that her adult daughter does not…. Don’t get me wrong, I like what I like, and find fashion interesting sometimes because of the way it runs in waves, but generally, I wear what I like and try to look At least possible. 🙂

I love the waistcoat idea this summer. Unfortunately, this summer I will be ultra casual so perhaps in the Fall.
This summer are bateau next 3/4 sleeve tshirts, skirts with bike shorts, and tennies (white or various colors). And dresses from polos knit to shoe dresses to sundresses.

I'm not one to do the 'trends' but rather stick with what looks appropriate for my body type. To me trends for the most part are a way of the fashion industry to keep women enslaved. I'm more practical, I'd rather get something classic that I can wear when the season and mood hits then buy a whole wardrobe each season.
I will keep wearing my white -on-pink stripe button down with jeans, denim maxi, shorts etc. I will also continue to wear my “barbie pink” linen wide leg, fitted waist/hip pants with either a cropped blouse (to waist of pants! 😅) or with a tucked square neck knit tank. I’ve kept pops of red in my wardrobe since the 80s… red lip and red bag with crisp white button down + jeans has been in rotation for years. Glad the trend setters have caught up!
“Off the rack” waistcoats are not constructed for women with a large bust! Is cost per wear for a radical alteration or for a bespoke waistcoat justified? Also, a waistcoat is a type of cropped top!

fit is everything! Also, it is humid here in summer so whatever is cotton is good and a sundress if you can find one!

Cannot wear Flats, prefer a Heel, I feel Flat Shoes make me look dumpy and older.
I so like a good tailored waist coat or vest…..so flattering to all sizes and age….and my favourite skirt is a tailored denim straight skirt with a front split…at 72 years it is timeless for me. The flats are so comfortable and look so nice
