Welcome to Day 5 (Friday, Jun 7, 2024) of my biking adventure along the Portuguese Way (Caminho Português) to Santiago de Compostela! In this episode, I cycled from the beautiful town of Pontevedra to the historic village of Padrón, covering approximately 43 kilometers of breathtaking Galician landscapes.

As I pedaled through serene forests, rural villages, and vibrant valleys, I made stops at must-see spots like the Barosa Waterfall and Caldas de Reis, famous for its hot springs. My journey ended in Padrón, a town steeped in legend as the place where the remains of St. James were first brought to Spain.

Whether you’re an avid cyclist or just curious about the Camino experience, ride along with me as we explore the sights, sounds, and spiritual significance of this iconic route.
