I wrote this up because I feel like nato surplus bivvy bags are being slept on (geddit???) on how effective and cheap they are. Had mine since 2018 and loving it.

I have an almost identical set up. DD 3×3 tarp and a British Army surplus bivvy + Snugpak Jungle bag/liner (for summer). Used it for a years and I love it.
