I take it that this is a very beloved band in Germany? I have heard of them, but I have not listened to them as much as other German Oi! I like their sound. I will be looking for more from them. A long time ago, a Renee from Deutschland was here in the states for a bit. When she got home, she would email and send me music in the mail, along with a few mix CDs and tapes. She told me that if I love Rabauaken (which I do….very much hahaha) that I would love these guys. So far, so good!!
One more thing. Blanc Estoc played in Chicago when i was about 16 or so. I chatted with them for a bit since they knew English (well…..most of them). I told them of my love for Rabauken and the leqd singer said right after……. "Ja. Das schtimnt. It is true. Everybody loves Rabauaken. Nobody loves Blanc Estoc".
The show was …. interesting. Some of the guys from the band insulted the guys from Chicago. One of the band's roadies made some…..remarks, let's just say…..that started a small riot between everyone.
Oh well. At least i got a good story out of it. I wrote Mario from Rabauken and he told me that the band has a shady rep back in Germany. He wasnt fond of them.
