This is Part 3 of my trip heading to Nordkapp, Norway, on my Honda CB500X. Having spent a day exploring Bremen on the previous day, it was now time to head off to Denmark. This involved a ferry and encountering road closures – a “favourite” of mine 😉.
The whole journey took me through the Netherlands, Germany, Denmark, Sweden and into Norway right the way up to Nordkapp, the furthest point you can travel by motorcycle or car in mainland Europe and then back through Finland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Germany, Belgium and France over a 7 week period late May – mid July 2023
I am back in the UK now, but please do add your comments and I’ll get back to you.
Hoping you can “Like” the video, as this does help the channel.
All my best wishes, thanks again for watching

Enjoying being with you again on your travels Nick. Keep looking at your screen deflector and think in a previous episode you mentioned it came from Ebay, do you have a link by any chance, thanks.
Great video Nick and I am enjoying following your tour. Out of interest how did you find campsites in the different countries? I use pitchup here in the UK and wondered if there was am EU equivalent? Best regards Darren
Very much enjoying the virtual ride along. Very interesting and relaxing in equal measure.
Another great episode, look forward to next one!
that ferry queue is ridiculous, they need a bridge there. Aren't you glad you were on a motorcycle, otherwise you'll still be there now LOL
Hi Nick! You inspired me… Last year I made motorbike driving license and bought 2022 Cb500x. Since then I am learning how to drive….Right now I have driven 5500 km. No problem to make 800 km weekend trip for me. In few weeks I am going to Croatia trip, same as you did… Someday, maybe, I will visit England. It's all about the journey! Take care! Joseph.
12:00 that Shell fuel was flippin' expensive!!!
Definitely flat countryside in that part of the world. Thank goodness for freestanding tents with hard ground and no hammer for the pegs. Looking forward to next episode. Cheers, Jim
Hi mate. Love the way you put this together and you make it interesting.
No ego or anything like that just a good old guy doing a trip on his bike, I love that.
😂
Hi Nick, always good to get off the main roads 👍 shame they didn't have a diversion route markers 🙄 stay safe ⛽🏍🏁
Really enjoying these and getting a good sense of what it is like doing the trip. As I am thinking of doing this trip next year I am interested in the camping options and logistics of using the camp sites. How do you go about finding, selecting and booking the sites you used? Thanks for posting. BTW, so absorbed in the helmet view I almost nodded to a couple of the bikes coming the other way!
Apologies for the dumb question Nick… But how are you dealing with camping grounds? Preplanned and booked or do you wait until late in the day and ask the satnav to find a campground and then just turn up?
Another enjoyable episode Nick, I’m enjoying this series
Thanks for sharing your great trip 🍻😎🏍💨💨💨💨💨💨👍🏻🇨🇦
Have you changed the seat I find mine is very uncomfortable
Waiting for Part 4 Nick…

Good mostly relaxed mileage Nick, just how it should be. You are so chilled out!
