an early memory definitely was watching my sister flip over the handlebars of her bike and crack a helmet open so I think that was uh inspiring it was at University um they had like a taster session um so yeah I think that was 2017 I think I’m still waiting no um uh I think when myself and Mia won the Madison medal um uh in Canada at a nation’s cup I was like yeah this is class like we’re finally like learning our craft here and yeah this is going somewhere I think it was actually 2019 when I won the National Road Race Champs like that was a really special day for me uh I originally did Triathlon and I did that for like many many years and then I started doing crit racing and I actually just really like the Tactical element of it and I think yeah it’s just really exciting fast-paced racing and yeah I enjoy the Tactical element of it the team element of it and the speed as [Applause] well oh it means a lot I think it’s the culmination of like years and years of hard work and dedication and I’m excited to share that with my teammates who we’ve all been through a lot together together and it’ll just be a really special experience I have a cat named Alfie which I never ever talk about cuz he’s really annoying he just cries from like 6:00 uh for his dinner so we shut him out in the utility room [Music]
