Datuk Mohd Azizulhasni Awang ended his sprint event campaign at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games at the Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines National Velodrome.
He did not qualify for the quarter-finals, finishing third in the repechage round, trailing behind Mateusz Rudyk of Poland.
Earlier, he set a new national record with a time of 9.402 seconds in the qualifying round, surpassing his previous record.
He and Muhammad Shah Firdaus Sahrom, who also faced elimination, will focus next on the keirin event.
