Just want to share some pictures of my dream bike. I’ve always wanted a single speed bike that can handle anything and everything, go on short blasts to get coffee or long rides to get chips.
I took this bike out today for 50 miles and just realised how truly amazing it is, gravel paths, grass fields and hilly roads it handles it all so well, what a gift it is to have two legs and two wheels. I’ve gone to places I never knew existed and seen things I could have only dreamed of.
The upgrades/ accessories to the bike are here:
New tires, purchased the panaracer gravelking semi slicks as I wanted something fast for road but also able to handle some gravel, I’ve heard mixed reviews but so far they’ve been amazing one puncture in 4 months (ride it 5/6 days a week)
Upgraded stock brakes to Tektro RX1 mini V brakes
(This is a must as the stock brakes are useless and don’t have much stopping power)
New seatpost from brick lane bikes (loved the purple highlights so went with that)
Blue lug ‘sherbert’ triangle reflector. Looks awesome and reflects light very well.
Wahoo bolt v2 not much to say, was a need for me as I love following new routes and this makes it so easy.
Cheap bike bag from Amazon, hoping to upgrade to wizard works presto in the future.
All in all I just wanted to give this bike a massive shoutout as I haven’t seen much posted about it at all especially videos, love this community too!
