This is the cycle touring gear I packed with me for my bike tour in Greece. The bike tour was about a month in length, so I needed to pack enough gear on the bike to be of use during that time.

The tour itself is a 3-4 week tour of the Epirus and Thessaly regions of Greece in the month of September.
This bike touring gear set up is a refined version of the touring kit used on my last bike tour around the Peloponnese in Greece. There are a couple of minor additions with new bits of kit that I want to try out, including a water filter.
There are a couple of items I didn’t mention in the video:
Electronic gear – Garmin Touring Pro, Go Pro 5, Samsung S7 Phone
    Other – Cycling shoes
Whilst I’ve tried to do my best to explain the bike touring gear I am taking and why, I’m always happy to answer any questions you might have.
You will notice an absence of cooking gear on this bike touring setup. Quite simply, I’m not taking any on this tour! I go into more detail why in the accompanying blog post.
One final note – This bicycle touring gear video isn’t telling you what you should take on a bike tour, it’s just showing what I am taking myself. The reason I share it, is that maybe you might spot that one item that makes your own life easier on your next bicycle tour.
    Happy Tailwinds!

    1. I reckon you could shave off 150g by ditching those extra keys and key rings!!! Imagine losing them and having to replace the 2 car keys you never even needed… not to mention the rattling.
