I was gifted this bike from a friend. They were given this bike over forty years ago as a wedding gift. I was thinking about selling it but I know it’s a classic. Can you guys help me confirm a make and year as I’m not super knowledgeable. Some of the components say “SunTour” or “SunTour vx”. Thank you!

That is pretty early trek!
I think the 022 ishiwata tubing puts it pre 1983.
Hard to say for sure on the model but likely a 400 or 500 series.
