Today we cycled from Eisenach to Datterode and in the process crossed from the state of Thuringia to the state of Hennen.
Some highlights today were riding under the unbelievable Werra Brücke bridge.
And over the historic Spichra hydroelectric power station.
We crossed the border of the iron curtain today though we saw no sign whats ever of it as cycled past.
We are now in the heart of Germany and I love seeing the crops growing in amongst the beautiful German countryside and the stunning small town with their half-timber house.
