A summer music festival that was scheduled to take place in Birmingham city centre next month has been scrapped. The Centenary Square Summer Series was scheduled to take place on Bank Holiday weekend, August 23-26, headlined by The Streets, Jungle, Cian Ducrot and Ocean
Colour Scene.
The Centenary Square Summer Series has changed its website to announce that the Streets gig will now be taking place at the 02 Academy on Friday, August 23 and Jungle will play the Utilita Arena on Saturday, August 24.
Tickets will remain valid for the new venues.
However, Cian Ducrot’s gig has been cancelled, as has the Ocean Colour Scene date. Organisers told customers: “All tickets will remain valid for
the new venue. Please look out for an email from vour point of purchase.
