    1. Interesting to hear he doesn't consider the stage he lost to Vingegaard as a bad day. It goes to show how strong Vinge was in the second week

    2. 92 km !!!
He’s flying, all he needs is wings.
We are privileged to be living at a time when Tadij is lifting cycling to another level, with their team support and phenomenal modern technology. Cherishing every moment!
      Fantastic Tour de France!

    3. Hey Lanterne — just wanted to thank you for your brilliant coverage. I’m new to cycling but every morning here in Aus I’ve loved watching your daily recaps over brekkie.

    4. For me the scariest moment for Pogacar during the Time Trial was when was at 90 km/h at a descent and there were people in the apex of the corner he took right after that. That was so damn dangerous!

    5. Remco had a really good tour. Rode disciplined throughout. Mostly rode his own tempo in the high mountains and avoided cracking. Finishng only 3 minutes behind Vingegaard is very very good in his first real battle with the two galacticos. Makes me feel that Remco could likely challenge them for real next year. Pogacar was superhuman this year. The most dominating win I have ever seen in the 35 years or so I have watched the TdF. But there is no guarantee that he will be this strong next year. Kudos to Jonas for giving it his all and finishing second despite his terrible injury. Hopefully he will be at full strength next year to challenge Pogi.

    6. After giro and vuelta disappointment last year remco absolutely never out a foot wrong. Tour full of emotions he let it out after itt after congratulating and and then congratulated by whole UAE team saw accomplishment sink in was very nice to see. A Belgian tour champion will be a celebration id love to see. Jonas performance regardless but after crash, tadej completing double all 3 over achieved in ways which was really cool . Hell of a podium.

    7. Feels bad for remco. The skill gap between him and Tadej and Jonas was far when it comes in climbing. but huge respect for him for fighting till the end.

    8. Two tours and not an ounce of fatigue shown by the Alien Slovenian. Just another rat lab this team is experimenting with. Cycling is a joke, man. This UCI body is so far behind in the science part, I mean they were never able to figure out what the hell Froome was taking imaging trying to figure out what this guy is doing.

    9. …the race of truth never fails to excite…however of recent times i find myself appreciating the countryside, chateau's and punditry more….as there is no racing action until the last 5k !!…time to change the format..

    10. Pog was risking the whole race when descending while holding those arm extensions. I recall Chloe Dygert crashing horrifically into Armco while doing just that some years ago, resulting in a broken femur. If that happens, you're fucked if you're a pro cyclist. Unless you're Chris Froome and some fool will sign you for 5 million Euro per annum for the next 5 years, leaving you set for life. Some would say, not bad at all.
