What sd happen is you host a finish as a town, you take out the road furniture!

If there’s a crash caused by road furniture riders union requires:
1) aso is insured
2) town is insured
3) team is insured

And
4) the felled riders are paid just compensation and the teams are paid for bikes, bike parts, mechanics time.

You force aso, which loves money, which gets ALL the tv money none to the teams, you will see that c rashes in pro road racing will divebomb down immediately. Why? B c aso loves money. It pays it changes. It does not pay, change nothing then.

Rider safety first!

Biniam is a good example he was given a chance to train in Switzerland. He was well trained and and hired by Intermarche Wanty team in Belgium. This is an opportunity for Biniam Girmay representing the team Intermarche Wanty participating in the Tour De France winning unimaginable success winning 3 Stages and the Green Jersey. His win is for Intermarche Wanty, Eritrea, Africa and for cycling loving fans around the world. We all equally enjoyed Biniam's win. That is what sport makes people come together interconnected. Biniam become sensetional around the world because of his talent and opportunities he was given and achieved success within a very short time. Eritreans are leading in Cycling in Africa among the billion population of which more than half are young generations. This is great potential if opportunities is opened to this young generations. It is the same thing with other fields like education and jobs. Tour De France since its inception has been 111 years in competition workd wide. Daniel Teklehaimanot was the First Eritrean – African to win King of the Mountains in 2015 in Tour De France. This has opened a lot of opportunities for Biniam Girmay and young Eritreans. Today, Biniam's talent and hard working with team Intermarche Wanty has become a super athlete in the cycling world- the best sprinter to win 3 stages and a Green Jersey. He is famous Cyclist in the world today – a humble and genuine sportsman.
To win 3 stages and a Green Jersey in Tour De France 2024 – The Mother of All Cycling Competition in the world is something unique and historical.
We Eritreans are proud of him and he is in every Eritrean ❤️. Our brothers and sisters all over Africa Biniam has opened the door we have to fellow him his achievements with hard working.

These kinds of finishes always leave me with” what if” in my head. I’m pretty sure if Wout is not blocked he wins. He already started acceleration, had to break, and restart his sprint. But of course we will never know. I hope he gets his win on another stage.

Those radio beeps all the time are really annoying. So annoying. It spoils the otherwise beautifully made videos. Maybe use white noise instead. Something less aggressive.

Great program. It unfortunately isn't enough time to give an "extended highlights" experience of any of the stages. I agree with the idea of trimming where possible but really fixing it to a format of 8min regardless of the stage doesn't make sense. Most stages would be better if they had 15-20min each and if it's a really great a at stage with non stop highlights most of the stage should be in an extended highlights post.
