Taking on the HARDEST Tagada YET! 😵‍💫 Robinson’s Funfair | Halifax 2024

Join Theo and myself for Robinson’s Funfair in Halifax, where we take on the hardest Tagada yet!

A group we don’t see very often, it’s a fun fair in Yorkshire where we see most of Robinson’s and Tuby’s rides in a classic collaboration. Featured here was Stuart Robinson’s newest Fair trade waltzer, Reece Robinson’s newest Sizzler Twist, and Roger Tuby’s Devil Rock (Rock Devil to Theo).

In this vlog, we take a walk a round of the fair as well as taking on the rides on offer, including the Tagada.

This fair has already finished, however they are at Huddersfield right now, until Sunday 14th July 2024 featuring most of these rides.

Please note that filming on the Tagada is restricted, however we were given permission to film on this for Theo’s first experience on that particular ride. This ride originated from Blackpool Pleasure Beach as a Circus themed ride then became part of Trauma Towers.

Please note we use specific equipment to film on rides. We strongly suggest that you don’t use your phone on rides.

[Music] welcome back to the channel welcome back to England hope you enjoyed our Scottish uh collection of [Music] Vlogs also back in Yorkshire we not been in Yorkshire for a little while feel like we’ve been missing the uh Yorkshire Vibes of the fairgrounds we’re in Halifax not the first time we’ve done Halifax and not certainly not the first time that we’ve done Robinson’s but this is a new ground we’ve not done this ground before and there’s a couple of new rides here we have done the uh Walter before as you’ve just seen there you may have seen that in our hoppins Vlog you may have not done but yeah we’ we’ve come here today now I I I made a little bit of a mistake for some reason I thought this was on for a few weeks turns out it finishes today so I was hoping to uh give this place a little bit of a promotion but never mind so maybe you’re watching it for the Robinson’s and Tov uh Fairground experience because we’ve done a few of them in the past and I do like their rides H they do go to leads we’ve done it in Barnsley a few times uh we just don’t get to these guys as often as we really should do so here’s an experience for us um I normally put details in the description below of the place but there’s not really much point but I’ll uh I’ll add some information down there but do follow us on Facebook uh subscribe if you haven’t done already uh which is free to do I am joined by silly Theo oh thank you to the guy who reminded me what he was called when he was being weird Roger yeah that’s the name he gave it um the weather is not the best however it shouldn’t rain now I’ve been been tracking the weather all over the place uh of where maybe best to go and I did want to get here and I umed andard and everything like that and then um it turned out it was actually going to be okay we just got here it rained and then I’ve looked at the map and it shouldn’t rain for the rest of the afternoon touch wood [Music] anyway um yeah make sure you’re following us on our social media platforms as well all those links can be found in the destion we’ll do the usual tour uh we do have a new re ride to do anyway we’ve got the new Sizzler uh that came into ownership at the start of the year Well Easter time wasn’t it yeah roughly Easter and then there’s that but we have done that before for Theo I’m hoping he can do we can film on the tager it because we we know we we know we’re not too sure if we can film on it so we may need to get permission we’ll we’ll see we’ll take you for a tour and show you what is here for this occasion I’ll keep this I won’t keep it brief but I I’ll go round in a good speed uh I should be able to name whose RADS what as well I’m not that thck [Music] what oh great do you not look after you tops are you where let’s start with a wait a minute wait a minute wait a minute to me and you this is called devil Rock Theo what’s it called Rock Devil yeah Rock Devil and I don’t know why he’s called It Rock Devil for 3 years is the kmg freak out oh no quite good actually no oh my next to here we’ve got the crazy Hopper frogs also quite a good frog Set uh um it’s not that busy here so we probably won’t do these on this occasion however I do like these frogs more because of the top [Music] side it’s not it’s not running properly today but the top side up there usually does some great uh animation but it seems to be on like a standby side so we won’t see that today also tubies is Disco fever the [Music] Miami they’re the three TB rides anyway back onto the Robinson’s rides we’ve got the tager the tager there that once upon a time lived in Blackpool pleasure Beach correct Theo from what I saw before it’s quite fast and quite um bumpy so we’ll see we’ll see the thing is I say about going on it if we go on it and we can’t film you’re not going to see it and that’s the downside to it so we’ll see we’ll see Robinson’s wals there you’ve just seen that in the opening so I don’t need to go over to it again uh but yeah uh that came out about a month ago now maybe 6 weeks ago uh it was delayed by about nine week nine months or something uh they old wals and now is with mmbs who aren’t that far away from here actually um yeah we’ve done it once at the hoppins so it’ll be interesting to see what we uh how we see it here as you go around you’ll see kids rise we’ve just seen a four meal track train set monster trucks and jets there is catering now the rain stopped a lot of people have come out which is good A little train set little mini Miami [Music] okay new for 2024 is the sizzle now we did see this at the hopins but we didn’t go on it so we do need to do this today I’ve heard good things about this because it’s a hydraulic set I believe um also another Sizzler that’s been [Music] personalized again I mentioned that in the hoppins vog but because it’s the last day they haven’t got the um top sign up and now Theo just said it’s the same as mmbs now mmbs do have a very very similar one but the difference is if you look they’ve got gold cars and a green center whereas mmbs have got green cars and a gold Center and you may have just seen a new ones just been released which is very similar to this again H but with a gold floor very nice so we do need to do that and uh experience it play center uh little um dragon what do you actually call them I don’t know uh mini Trooper there Star Flyers here as well weirdly enough Theo doesn’t like Star Flyers I’m not too sure why if I’m honest with you why don’t you don’t like them cuz of the height but you’ll do boosters makes sense do it it’s not because of the height oh all right he it’d be really good it’d be really good to get him on um uh sky dance that really big one oh hell no I’m oh hell no so there starf here we literally saw this couple of a week ago was in the hopp I two weeks ago I can show you something on it yeah uh Billy Hill and Son’s uh Ice Palace uh you get given uh 3D glasses or whatever you call them now that you used to get in cereal boxes uh back in the ’90s please tell me I’m not dreaming that uh but you could Ed to get them and now you go through it’s like a walk through it is a walk through bit like a fun house but not a fun house and you can see some lights there and the uh the the the glasses give you a weird illusion it’s really good now I have filmed in there before and put the glasses on the lens 2 years ago at BIR I think it was if I remember rightly so we have a vlog somewhere with the experience on but I really couldn’t tell you which Vlog that is I’m pretty sure it’s Burnley maybe Burnley weight and that could be at Burnley weight actually Burnley weight starts on Wednesday in fact by the time this Vlog comes out Burnley wakes should be on um we should be there H so subscribe to see it I might we may do it there I don’t know I’ve got an arcade I have seen this arcade before but I’ve not seen it in a while because I remember seeing this rocket catcher you don’t see these very [Music] often quite oh my life they’ve got if anyone is an arcade book right that machine there is called roller coaster it’s um I think it’s made by JPM and it is an it’s not an elusive fruit machine but it’s worth a lot of money it’s probably worth £1,000 plus or something like that I don’t know but uh all the other ones are a bit worthless but they have a roller coaster fruit machine in there game stalls we have got a white in’s ghost train for some reason I wasn’t expecting this to be here um I don’t know how they work with the whitings family cuz the whins were it fake well I don’t know if that’s the same family or not uh but that’s why I was expecting it and this normally goes to the hopins but it wasn’t there this year here I believe they didn’t have enough space for it which I found really odd considering that where they normally sat is an area that was available so I don’t know what happened there um but this goes to some big grounds they won’t have jump scares in there today very unlikely anyway uh but sometimes a big round they have not one but two jump scares sometimes you’ll see a guy up there and sometimes you’ll see a guy there and uh 100% tell telling you right now you will not get Theo on that what going to go on the ghost train why not no jump scares there’s no jump scares in it you won’t do roller coaster so uh oh those girls look traumatized H but yeah I wonder if Margo will do them we’ll see we’ll see I’m not going to force on them they used to do ghost trains um a few times and he was a bit hit and miss with him back then got a slide we have got fever pitch which Theo now really wants to do four in to win 50 Quid Theo will be telling me he can do that ski jump I did a vlog recently where I start to get confused right and even though I got told which is which I still don’t know which is which is this one whitens I don’t know but there’s a ski jump here we have got the fun house Curtis edes just tripped on some carpet move your foot you fool now ctis Eddie I I don’t know normally in families you have Curtis Eddie and then you’ll have their um you’ll have their son will be called Curtis Ed as well maybe that’s the case I don’t know but I know he’s somewhere else with his um Fusion at the moment and sometimes you see them together but evidently not here uh we’ve done this quite a lot it has featured in our Vlogs at indoor funfare Theo really likes it um quite a big foot house and oh is it not oh it’s not got it it’s not got it slide on I don’t care still doing it it’s not going to slide on unfortunately H just before show you the final ride look I do like that very nice you couldn’t see that hopping it was around the back and then to box this tour off we have got their dodging set their dodging set is really good and if you don’t know why they have got the smoothest track ever and that track’s been with them for about oh 4 years now maybe three I I remember when they had the new trap and my goodness it was smooth and that my friends is why there now I don’t have a big itinerary of what we’re going to do other than I think we need to get on this um can we do the Sizzler no okay is that later what do you want to do first right I tell you what we’re going to do we can do the Walter first if you want no we’re doing the Sizzler I no we’re going to do the Walter from what I’m saying what I’m seeing I’m not listening to you I asked you for a question and you didn’t answer it um from what I’m seeing it’s running quite quick never well I did [Music] Theo that looks like he’s running fast did at the [Music] hoppins okay let’s see if it [Applause] is right here we go I’m trying to balance the car a little bit just to get the spin right let’s go be waiting Get Down On It Get Down On It Get Down On It Get down on it to go now we’ve got help let’s go there we go I standing on the wall oh there goes that song oh it’s bad now I’m told with these C of rides you’re better sitting in the middle of the car I don’t know if that’s true or not this is going quite well Get Down On It Get down on it the spinner has such an easy job on this get the cars going some disty is key is what we’re getting here oh wow here we go now then already better than the hoppins I standing on the wall picked up a little bit more now we’re talking super machine super sensation in B moving machine [Music] brilliant well then how about that that was much better much better I did it at the poins and uh I I I didn’t feel like it went that fast and it went much faster here brilliant now of course we’ll get to see its true and hoping to see its true potential in Hull so again I think it’s still got more to give I did say to him I said I think you prefer you guys would prefer a three Hill and he disagreed with me fair enough he had a reason why he preferred the four Hill not necessarily the buildup or anything but just because he thinks this is giving the uh should we call punters a better ride you do spin more on a Walt though you have more consistency the only difference is with a four Hill versus a free Hill is you are a bit more flexible with a three Hill uh with the spin uh where it can spin both ways uh but with a for Hill it seems to gain the momentum better where it guarantees you the spin uh you’ll notice that Robinson’s tend to have three two to three people spinning he’s only got one simply because well you don’t need all those spinners once those cards were going they were going and uh they didn’t lose the lose the spin so yeah I mean we’re still learning about these Four Hills if I’m honest with you um I mean when I say learning we seen different things so I think that we did our first one we did was in I can’t remember whose it was it was in um South Wales cardi uh and then we’ve done tayor and we’ve done that and we’ve done tayor uh twice I think and it did better the second time but he that was flying so I’d really like to see that Hall I’m really hoping that by by the time they get to Hall uh they do have um all their moving heads because Taylor’s had had to fix bars on to be able to get the moving heads on simply because you can’t attach the moving heads in the same place you can on a tri traditional Walt that’s so um yeah we’ll we’ll we’ll see we’ll see you in the next few months literally two months away looking forward to hle there is that hole right um what should we do next why did you insist in doing the fun house all the time what [Music] a we were going to go and the Sizzler but I noticed it was full and it was going to go so I thought we’ll U we’ll do the Walter first how scissor kick yeah what’s a scissor kick well at least it was that and nothing else B where did you learn all that I love bumblebees here D he can transform into an actual car no If he if he knelt down and went into a car do you reckon he could no no I think he good he’s waving is go and say go and give him a high five go on give him a high five fist pump go on come on this P he’s scared going to move I tell you what there’s a lot of places now doing more of these sort of things like that staring yeah there’s a lot more places getting uh the character days I think Barbie’s around somewhere I don’t know where she’s gone go on then shout out big shout out to what shout out to Isabella and Amelia shout out to Isabella and Amelia okay there you go they they just interrupted me to say can we have a shout out I was like okay let me just try and piece that in [Music] somewhere bye then the you can do the fun out but I’m not yeah you are why do I need to do it you go on your jolly way go on you got on that fun house all right yeah we changed that song quickly didn’t we just in time right here we go first time on this very slow start but what I just saw goes pretty quick you know this s it’s called the Tidy p no T but I’m Holding On are you holding on that’s good to know are you going to be my number one hold it on hold it on he going to be my one he hey we’re getting wet Sizzle AB [Music] here hold on wa wa [Music] oh wow wa went this all over super [Music] machine you okay oh he’s all over the place you better take cover right feel the power here we go again oh oh life making twister twister how is it you taking back by that jeez you okay other [Music] oh my life that was insane absolutely fantastic and and and it had the wet Sizzle Rive until it really kicked in and Theo was all over the place I fing you were flying I saw that I that that was really good now my standing let me get this right it’s not a motor drive it’s a hydraulic drive the difference with that is it can really kick in quicker evidently seen there now of course we didn’t do that in the hoppins and that’s what we missed because that was running like a dream fantastic looks great as well really good though H does it beat the old one though I’d say so we’ve had some really good times on their old Sizzler U me and Megan two years ago I think it was we did leads without Theo there’s new actor what why you say there’s new actor new why you say there’s no actor no actor oh there is it doesn’t look like an actor though does he yes I know he isn’t no he isn’t an actor anyway um me and Megan went on this in leads two years ago and oh my [Music] goodness crazy that was [Music] oh is he he’s not dressed up as an actor is he you won’t be able to see this on the camera the doors just [Music] opened no he’s just he’s no no he’s just watching something I think get him dressed up right should we do the dodging yeah yeah right we’ got a dodging battle today on these [Music] dodging here we [Music] go the smoothest trap in new auction [Music] hey h yeah these don’t go [Music] backwards turn your [Music] wheel he’s going to regret that oh no try get now oh he’s having to go with me now right how do I get my car behind his car without him knowing about it you’re doing it not me [Music] oh my Lord oh my God that K that kid came flying out thank goodness the seat belt d right behind [Music] you oh come on getting blocked here get denied trying to catch him up but I’m not [Music] happening I can see a dark clouds heading our way incoming [Music] is going for I don’t know what [Music] he oh seriously I can’t wait for Margot to be all the Imagine a threeway dodging ball it won’t be thr away Mar W be able to drive her own car will she it’ll be me teaching or not Megan tell you that I’ll teach her well [Music] the’s got a different plan I think oh come on it seems to be a thing is when you have a GoPro in your hand people seem to clock on oh oh that must have [Music] hurt all right he turned his car around and head on bumped me T we go over to the tag we’re going to see if we can get on it I can’t promise you in this Vlog and then we’ve got the freak out today as well still I’m just conscious of this cloud Rock fre out not too sure which way the clouds going in if I’m honest with you rock devil out what the Rock Devil cre out do you want to do that first no what no why not go on this and get wet will be the first time on this I’ll tell you that [Music] hey Theo what’s it called Rock Dev Rock Devil I remember the first time we were on this [Music] 2022 I think for Theo that’s when the iconic phrase came I think it was [Music] it somewhere I can’t remember it’s called now I mentioned it before I keep saying I keep thinking bref it’s not it’s barnley that’s the place that’s the place since the rain’s gone there’s a lot more people [Music] here oh the force very slow spin gives you air time for everyone until it picks [Music] up yeah [Music] why people think it’s over but it’s far from [Music] [Music] over stayed down here a while is it is this I don’t know if he’s manually running this no he’s not thought he was but I was thinking that was down and space for a while W it don’t see many of these uh F manually at all [Music] time get those arms out they what I’ve noticed here and this is typical for Robinson and tues they give some great Cycles [Music] as always a great cycle great run on Roger tub’s devil Rock brilliant as I just said all the rides are running very well here I I ever mentioned the cycle lengths I actually filmed 5 minutes of the Sizzler uh but it was about a minute of it going slow and start maybe that’s part of it so that was a 5 minute cycle the dodging were 4 minutes uh the wals is we’re just over 2 minutes um being on yeah I feel like we’ve done more let keep an eye on this Cloud right we’re going to do one more ride now at the moment right now I don’t know if it’s going to be that now if we’re able to film we will do the tager because I just feel with it being Theo’s first time on this it I I we need you need to see it now of course I’m just going to get the permission first um of if we can do that if not that we’ll go on one of the other two rides over here um but yes uh we probably you probably won’t see that feature much though because of the rule uh but because it’s Theo’s first time on it I I I want to I want to show you because the loves tagers don’t you our taggers one one of your favorite rides do they beat a freak out they do do they beat a booster they do which uh k no uh fabery do they be a k g oh oh okay what about a Fab booster Max oh what’s better Fab booster Max or a kg speed kg speed even better than Apollo 13 no sometimes I don’t even think you know what you’re talking about call yourself an influencer yeah I’m not slipping again you know what again oh yeah byy kick notliing again all right well the next ride will be the tagger there or some else [Music] oh yes oh [Music] no yes Theo’s on it he’s trying to hold on the best he can are you ready for this T are you sure here we [Music] go who oh my God oh my goodness oh my God oh my God you I see I don’t know if I am oh my God was never like this at the pler beach oh my god oh this is so hard Ro you doom doom why is this so hard I’m holding on to this far here oh my oh my [Music] god oh no this is not good for me [Music] W oh my God oh my life w w yout I’m [Music] fing holy C you were f w you ready right found two you even I hold it on this [Music] one this is my god wow oh my Lord oh my [Music] God call the GoPro no oh my God now the next round oh my life this is not what I remember you yeah you do better than I am wow that was tough what a great ride though please B at the B box if you would like to please please B at the bay box if you would like to girls let’s go this way well then I like to start the Vlogs off great but how did we end that wow what a tager there that is that is flut pleasure Beach’s original tager and I’ve always wanted Theo to go on it now I’ve done that a couple of times myself I’ve not done it for a while though but I don’t remember it being like that oh my God Leo how is that hard it was tough wasn’t it tougher for me yes now you just vot in cuz he wanted to know what you thought and you’ve said it was the best tag you’ve done is that correct so it now beats fin same same as fin that’s not what you told him but that was a turning bit better it’s a turning bit there yeah the the thing with that one and I can see why you’ll notice the bars are really high up on that when you ride it you’ll understand why but because the bars are so where the the padding is to protect your head Theo struggled to hold so he had to hold the fourth bar up which you did able to do but you went a bit flying didn’t you you you didn’t come off your seat though other than well you did but you didn’t go on the floor I don’t think you’ve been put on the floor yet by tager have you yeah you are no I know you don’t need to remind me but I’ll be honest I struggled on that I really struggled but um I must I must stress that we were given permission to film okay there’ll be a few of people that might be like oh I filmed they can film they do not allow filming with your mobile phone for a start uh they certainly not a fan of vlogging and but we’ve spoken to them and they’ve allowed us on this occasion I can’t promise we’ll be able to do it in the future but um just be mindful of that I’ve always been conscious of that anyway uh but I’m so thankful for the them allowing us to do that because what you just saw o you right catching the GoPro what you just saw then um was insane and crazy what yeah you caught my GoPro well that box is off box is off I nearly got through the Vlog without messing up verbally then that box is off the Vlog here at Halifax and obviously a couple of rides that we didn’t do crazy Hopper there is a great ride it’s actually full now great ride and they do have their own uh Miami as well disco fever of course we haven’t done the ski jump uh we’ll try and do that next time we see it we do see it now and again but of course great to get on some of the classic uh 2B and Robinson’s rides including devil Rock their dodim as well a brand new Sizzler which was absolutely fantastic and of course there Walter as well I hope you’ve enjoyed I really do like their ride they always run really well um we were trying to get to their hooders field one about a month ago but um the ground conditions weren’t the best but we were able get there not Theo um stand up for me let’s see what his ride of the day is the ride of the day what what is that de watch your ride watch your ride of the day tager there I mean why can’t you just tell me that tager ride of the day for him and probably going to match it I was going to say the Sizzler the Sizzler was really good it was a very close second there sizz was fantastic but I have to doing the tager uh I have to give it to the tager on this occasion uh but all of them ran really well anyway anyway so it’s really hard to do a good cheese right we’ll see you in the next Vlog wherever that
