I test rode a ‘24 BMC Roadmachine Four (photo) and really liked it ($4,199). I now see in the store’s inventory in another location far away a ‘23 Roadmachine Three on sale for $4,479. Seems like the ‘23 has a better group set (Di2 Ultegra vs Di2 105) and better wheels (XRD-522 vs Mavics). The ‘24 seems to have some frame upgrades, but not anything that I am dying to have (I don’t need a fork that accommodates 40mm wheels). I have ridden a Madone, wasn’t a huge fan for some reason. Tarmac was more aggressive than I wanted. So, I’m comfortable that one of the BMCs would work for me. Anyone have thoughts on important considerations I might be missing between these Roadmachine versions?
