Still need some new tires, pedals and u-brakes. Did I went overboard with the turqoise grips? Advice is welcome.

Looks good man, nice little 26’er build. Turquoise works well with the frame colour. Just get something that rolls nicely for tyre choice, don’t have to stick to the norm here..

Are you wanting it more city oriented or going for some dirt?
Schwalbe makes many of their modern 29er tires in 26er if you are thinking trail use.
Keep the turquoise grips. I dig the clash.
