so Harold check the scenery eh horrible you know yes like we had to face this for I don’t know how many days now it’s been hard but but you know it’s been 5 days andos to Croatia Slovenia Italy a little bit but Slovenia was awesome and Croatia is just phenomenal cycle tracks the whole route gravel riding the whole route but that’s not why we’re here the canyon Grail check these two puppies these have been amazing we’re going to talk you through some of the good points I don’t think there’s any bad points but uh anyway mostly all good points so let’s let’s let’s start with yours Harold you’ve got the top end range CF SLX CF SLX in brilliant I’ve got the zip 303 wi Crest now look how dust these things are we’ve driven miles in these things in the dust it’s been gobling up the trby tires I must say they’ve been very good good grip good excellent grip good grip um you’ll see on some other videos we we’ve been doing some fairly rough stuff um Stones like this that you can see on the ground here on a proper gravel it’s a proper gravel yeah and in terms of compared to a mountain bike honestly you can ride this thing you can you can hammer it right I mean I think if you a big Des sentus rocks you you can’t do it a mountain bike that this Canyon Grail handles and feels like a mountain bike Offroad let’s pick the right line yet rides like a road bike on the road nice curves Hold the Line nice be nothing on this trip that we haven’t been dealt with it speed um brish so on my bike you got the Zips with the uh carbon only thing there they make a little bit of a noise when you freeing okay well K are dead quiet mine are dead mine are like whisper mode mine are not as noisy as the Hunts but they have a little bit of noise um and then over here let me show you the thing you used all the time visible Gadget Bag and it just pops out and there you got it and inside there I’ve got every little my little well what have I got in there so it’s a special load uh side uh so top frame top frame and and down no we used this a lot no rattling coming out of there so all your tools are in there all my tools are in there yeah and there’ve been absolutely zero rattling brilliant use the little pump got everything in there we not had a single puncher between us so just to pop it back in just literally slide along the top and it’s in that’s it that’s it clipped magnetically held magnetically held awesome no noise we just trying to bance our out yeah yeah so on on the side entry bottle holder yeah that’s very important actually really good to just whip out as such come straight out I’ll hold your bike y easy access um they so I don’t have that I don’t have the the gadget tool box in there I’ve got the canyon CF which is the the Baseline model can’t access it so I got to carry my tools there not so great but then I can put my a bottle there which would been awesome so I’ve had two bottles on a tool not as pretty looking but does a job um I can put the the load Gadget there but I haven’t bought it yet and probably would have been useful for this trip oh man uh these bikes are brilliant I love the P balls very good suspension just built in naturally the ride is soft and the wheels I started with one Rider my wheels are probably at 4 and it was too high yeah I’m riding down to 35 33 35 and 30 for me yeah and that’s perfect so 85 kilos so that’s but perfect yeah um I’m a little a little bit more kilos but tell Croatia is a place to come for cycling uh for gravel only thing we would say we both said if you got the Hammerhead this is an incredible mount it doesn’t rattle unlike the chos that are ch um c5s that we’ve got you can’t angle it they they’ve got their own mounts in the front with mine always rattled especially if I put a light on I’ve got a computer and a light on there these are solid they don’t rattle they do not rle got the light underneath sitting up in the sun with a hammerhead it’s a bit hard to see the screen I I think there’ be a problem with any any device if it’s if the Sun is straight on it well I’m will the new Garmin might just be able to nail it may be a bit brighter but you got to put the brightness up quite a bit to to see it um so it does I mean my brightness is way down low um to try and extend the battery life you can turn up but it sometimes can we missed a few a few turns we just missed it because we haven’t seen it until the last minute um but yeah no these are top bikes one more thing to call out these these Shram gears honestly they’ been brilliant just just brilliant there’s not a single ounce of issues with them they just always change I’m still on full I’m still on full by 8% yeah they I ran out in the beginning but I think CU mine is brand new yeah and I put a new battery on and you have to break them in man yeah yeah so so CF model basic Wheels um it’s about 3 and half Grand that’s 47 whatever is um is uh but you get decent Wheels good wheels and you get one up group group group upgrade to the force I’m on the um the Rival the Rival group set here be perfectly fine no problems no problems but yeah I’m very happy the bike um love it very comt oh of course the this is a great addition Side by handle bar bell maybe hit a few shrubs it rings automatically it does I’ve noticed that a few rings in the bushes and usually yeah have a few W wounds as well love your arms and legs man anyway so yep get yourself a canyon but how’s this VI what a great place for a bike review I think even DC rain maker wouldn’t find this spot eh no yeah I think we I think we should um we should ping him get him here he needs to come test his gear here what a place yeah we’ll come with him

Is the bike good for bikepacking as well? I am considering buying a cf sl 7, mainly using as a road bike but also what to have the possibility to use it as a bikepacking bike
Yea , canyon see all the custom gear to fit the bike perfectly .
