good morning good afternoon wherever you are in the world let us know where you’re watching from but right now we’re witnessing the tour to France 2024 welcome welcome stage number seven the time trial 25 km is what the Riders are going to be dealing with and uh yeah right now we’re singing Kevan VLAN a man who’s already won a Time TR in the de he’s um yeah what can he do in today’s stage that SI remains to be seen ARA samik or ARA BNB hotel’s best Rider you would have thought in terms of this so um yeah their best hope right now but right now in the hot seat the the seat that determines who is leading the stage right now where we are potentially going to see a rem Veno a Tara maybe even a Primos RIT or definely Bing of EF education easy post I’m sure um Jonathan vas would love to stop the stage right here right now but uh that’s not the nature of cycling unfortunately so uh yeah a lot to still go on we have I think nine Riders uh nine Riders no times that by 10 90 Riders still to come here and a lot of them still on the track right now trying to finish their LA and um yeah who’s going to win who is going to win we have no fipo GH here we have no Josh taring so the Italian national champion and the European Champion not present in the total France this year cesy of inos granders but that doesn’t mean we don’t have a plethora of of time travist to choose from where are you putting your your support behind plenty of you saying Tad Pacha is going to take the win here is it going to be Tad Pacha T Pacha of course has one stages in the total France in the time trial discipline remember 2020 that Inc incredible legendary La plil a bit of a different route than we have here he also picked up a stage win the year after as well but I care BNB hotels we’re seeing them they’re very eager about the chances here for their Belgian star superstar in the making Kevin VLAN uh already taking a stage win on that San Luca stage that was a tear up for the books and uh can you do another one here we wait and see we Wai and see but right now uh plenty of riders here as we said through that first intermediate time check that we have with between 9 uh 8 and 9 kilm we have Stefan Bing get leading so 10 minutes and 12 seconds is The Benchmark right now he has the Benchmark for the second intermediate time check as well which comes more or less at the foot of this climb well more or less a climb incline are we calling it ear incline yeah between 15 and 14 km 14.34 and then there’s another one at the bottom of the fast descent so a lot of time checks on this course so it gives us a real indication of how everyone’s doing but right now B kill like we said has the fastest time at the end we’ve got rul Garcia as well I believe he’s the rkss BNB Hotel Riders we talked about a bit earlier in the week Michael Matthews what can he do um well third place apparently that’s what he can do beating out the likes of M Luke derbridge and Nils poet two of these people have of course been National Champion one of them is in fact the German national champion Nils pollet uh the green jersey of Binum gay has also a former national champion in the time trial discipline 23rd provisionally Mikel Maru never be near the national time trial championships of Denmark he’s sitting in 26th currently but we have of course got some very big hitters coming up uh Ryan Gibbons who I believe is he definitely has been the African Continental or the African games and the African Continental no I think only the African games I’m not quite sure the difference between the African games and the African Continental championships so if anyone knows please let me know but right now we’re seeing Tim wellins coming up towards the Finish didn’t realize he was the Belgian national champion so the Belgian national champion here in the time Tri discipline I think rco Veno actually decided not to go to the um time child discipline but he did do the road race if I recall correctly in terms of the national championships but great to have so many people here already it is the time Tri stage this is going to be an interesting one many of you are worried about vingal that’s for sure D saying vingle drops another minute very possible very possible and uh yeah who’s going to win the stage you’re still favoring tatcha it’s very close poll though Remco Vero the world champion never taking a Tor France stage never taking a time trial stage when in the torto France of course he’s never been at the Tor France but he did take a Time TR stage win at the doofan quite recently that was quite an incredible one and if we think that was an optimal Remco Eno then uh yeah that could be quite a a danger for some of his Rivals here knowing that he wasn’t 100% And then a few days later well a few weeks later then he could really be dangerous uh but yeah we said Ryan Gibbons African former African games and Continental champions of two different championships am I going to go out on a limb and say that I think that the African national champ African games is like the Olympic Games but the African form we don’t really have a European game where um yeah basically like in Olympic Games but just for European countries we don’t really have that maybe that would be an idea but I think the calendars of all the sports people are already quite packed well pool’s as well coming up he’s the next Raider to start Steven Williams in there as well then we have a man who has been the national champion before twice in Italy and that is of course Giani moscon he has beaten he actually beat Philip bana in 2018 that title so yeah diani musone on his day is quite a powerful um time trialist and also quite a bad and rude individual on some occasions but white pools is the guy next to start Byron Victoria stage winner last year in both the tour France and the welto espia I think he was a last minute call up as well but while pools where where am I thinking I saw him of course it used to be the Super domestique for Chris room was part of Tour of France victories there he won a stage in the tour of Hungary this year not in a time trial finished third on the podium there sixth in the tour of the Alps and yeah he is 36 years young there’s quite a lot of 36 year old going around in the pel on that generation we are very much on the cusp of a generational shift to some respect maybe we have done it with yis vingo and tacha Reno juuzo Jo MAA they’re kind of leading the front here so maybe the general rational shift has happened they’re just kind of hanging around here um garan Thomas but I mean Garen Thomas he finished on the podium in the J ti so he’s still packing a punch but well pools 23 grand Tours to his name including this one 24 wins actually that’s a lot more wins than I thought he had so wpol is quite a prolific winner we know many of these climbers who sacrificed their own GC potential for working for a stronger leader sometimes the Palm marises don’t really agree with how good of a rider they are trading in your palarz for a paycheck that that’s the way you can kind of call it but Kevin VLAN we’re seeing him 14 minutes and 43 seconds into the ride here H are we going to see him potentially drop a very good ride here Victor campan the former hour record holder former European Champion he is coming up very shortly as well so he’s going to be a man of no interestingly was he at the Belgian national championship now I’m very intrigued because they do have a lot of good um time trial list and I wouldn’t actually put Tim wellin as one of them Alex seot was the man who finished second uh this youngster from Lotto Destiny who’s has a big future but yeah know what we not no Victor camps no Remco Veno for the Belgian national championship so Tim wellin it sounds bad to say it but I mean it’s true kind of handed that Championship he still had to win it but uh the rivals were definitely lessened a bit by that Trio not being there match of anapol of course not wearing the world championship kit that is worn by the on other benock Rider Reno like we’ve said and yeah it’s quite strange seeing him in his normal trade kit here something we’re not used to seeing anymore of course the weirdest one was seeing rco Veno like we said but Remco I believe is not going to be wearing the rainbow bands because he is wearing the white jersey so we won’t actually see the rainbow bands unfortunately and uh yeah that’s a shame so we’re not actually going to see it um what are we saying great to have Savage Pro in the comments the thumbnail looks like uh tabach is using a helicopter really oh I see what you mean yeah that that is a good point I didn’t notice the helicopter in the background maybe I’ll change it um yeah we wait to see what happens here oh Macho overtaken I think Macho vapo is overtaken here by Kevin VLAN he doesn’t really care o laso coming in here second fastest time 27 seconds down and a good ride by him he’s already shown his face at the front of the race in this year’s toural France and we’ll see if he will potentially get into a stage winning position in one of these Breakaway stages could tomorrow be a breakaway I’m not quite sure the answer to that is a bit uncertain but yeah we await the big boys but one of the big boys here mipole has got a good TT on his day and I’m surprised that he hasn’t won the Dutch national championship cu the competition sometimes doesn’t seem like it’s too big uh with no Tom Duman being there anymore yosman mm I think also retiring but 17.4 km still left for mro vano so only 8 km into his race here and who’s going to win who’s going to win great to have some many people across the pond as well and uh I hope you enjoyed the festivities yesterday I guess uh Savage Pro joining us from St Lucia as well Rob joining us from South Africa and uh yeah many people picking Remco venol but right now in the poll tyacha is still your favorite Aloha as well from Hawaii great to have Ben back from the UK as well and joal maer also being mentioned in the comments joal MAA friend of the channel can he potentially do a good time tral here former time tral champion of Portugal 11.1 km left here for Kevin vlang and he’s really going fast here I think he is really going for a good placing on the stage Kevin wlang probably the best time trialist you would say in terms of this race for French hopes but Mach of VPO eight fastest Kim mlan the rider he passed was not match of anipo it was sank anerson so apologies match of anipo but you all look the same you person Riders we’ve got uh Kon vlang coming through it looks like he’s going to be battering the fastest time here yep Kevin mlan takes the fastest time 30 seconds quicker 30 seconds quicker than and Stefan bisinger those two were very close on the first intermediate time check where Stefan bisinger was on 1012 in terms of 10 minutes 12 seconds and Kevin VLAN was 3 seconds a drift but he’s put a sizable margin into him by the second intermediate Sprint so he really went hammer on that bit of an incline there 30 seconds up that is remarkable that is quite an amazing ride going from being 3 seconds down to then a few or a few kilometers later being up by 30 seconds um is he going to be yeah 10 km to go here is he going to be able to yeah maybe even get a top 10 position here this is remarkable 1904 is his time at the second intermediate time check and Stefan Binger who we know used to be a European Champion uh Swiss is he the Swiss Champion right now let’s just double check no oo oh stepan grung Stephan Kung of course the Swiss National Champion uh Stephen Kung and Stephan bis same first name and yeah they must be annoying each other in the era that they’re in two very good time trialists from the same country so yeah European championships have been decided between these two but yonas abrahamson the pokero Jersey wearer he’s had a number of uh headlines on him after being his polker jersey win Um poker Jersey points tally wearing the green jersey as well yada yada y he’s doing a very good toor front so far so far so good for the Uno X Rider yeah strange that we had Uno X Mobility up there towards the front yesterday and then they kind of just vanished that was a bit of a shame but Uno X I would definitely say they’ve passed the first week they’ve done had a very good week in here in the first stint of the race um not getting that stage win but a third place with Kristof and then having both jerseys at one time in terms terms of the green and the polka dot that’s certainly not something to look down on for a pro Continental Team 25 km to go so Victor campat has just started and what can the hour record holder do here or former hour record holder can he potentially get a good placing he has said in the past that he is done with time tring that he was going to focus more on uh yeah on classic style racing but I don’t think that’s kind of translated he’s been very good in the lead out for honor dele of course they’re another team that desperately want to convert into a stage win tomorrow could potentially be that opportunity for them but is it going to happen that is a big question to say the least um yeah are we going to see potentially I don’t think we’re going to see I think he’s the best card I just need to remind myself that I need to upload uh tomorrow’s preview as well today 7.2 kilometers to go here Kon VLAN pushing on and um the arbnb hotels is the fastest Rider on course right now fastest Rider on course Giani mus on the two-time Italian national champion of course we’re going to see him his time coming through as well Bart lemon as well is on the road we’ve got alot senko former National time Tri Champion for Kazakhstan as we know sank Anderson was bypassed by Kevin VLAN so that was a bit of a shame for him Danish Pride not really there today unfortunately 6.5 km I think maybe yis mingle is going to be our best card for Danish viewers in terms of a good result but uh yeah many many things are going to happen here in today’s stage and the GC top 10 is definitely going to be changing a bit we would assume but 6.3 km Kevin VLAN fastest man on the course right now and as we said he’s already taking stage wins losing out uh the overall in the ET deis actually losing out in the individual time trial as well the French national championship to Bruno Amaray by 3 seconds a couple of weeks ago on a 35.2 km course so that was a shame for him he could have been wearing the the beautiful flag of France but unfortunately just wasn’t meant to be he’s only 23 years old so that Jersey could well and truly be on his way at some point but this year already taking a win in the A2 de finishing second overall that win was of course a time tral it was a bit of a shorter one 10.6 km long he finished third in the GP Marseilles early on in the year and 21st in SAR bian wasn’t great but top 10 in Tano attico that’s quite a good ride and eighth in the tour of the Bas country second in flesh valone that’s probably the big result for him this year and then winning that stage actually no let’s be honest I just momentarily forgot about San LCA no San LCA is the big result stage winner of stage two come on uh into bologna but he wants to try and add another one to his tally if he can but arnb hotels they’re going to be very very happy about this of course there is that battle between I almost said Pro Continental French teams but of course they are a world tour team even though I think they don’t really justify it when you look at their squad but Kevin VLAN is certainly one of of them who does Merit this world tour ranking but yeah alas we wait and see great to have some familiar names in the comments don’t be shy let us know um where you’re watching from as well who you think is going to win many of you thinking t patcha a few of you thinking Remco vle 420 of you have voted in the pole but right now we’re seeing Kevin VLAN 4.5 km to go here we’re seeing a cof this rer as well I think that’s iiri yep it is the cof this Rider not really down for his TT well writing um but I seem to recall that a Spanish National Championship maybe but uh maybe that is just me mixing him up with someone else stepan Kung is a national champion and former European Champion he’s the next one to start here what can he do such a prolific Rider he desperately wants a stage win in the total France in the time trial is that going to be coming today gr DJ have not tasted any success in this year’s France and is this the man to give them that stage justify that they’re here they are a worldt team let’s be honest but he could really lift the morale of the team they’ve had a bit of a bad few stages with David goodoo completely backfiring in the GC Lenny Martinez losing time as well couldn’t convert the victory as well Valentin mad is not having the polot jersey so they are a bit in this no man slad unfortunately in terms of GC potential no team opino anymore he retired last year and uh yeah Stephan Kon the Swiss national champion and former European Champion could certainly be a man to do something here he’s a very good Classics right as well having finished on the podium in parro Bay and in the Rond van vandra and and of course also finished on the podium in the world championships back in 2019 in the road race where mes Pon took the Victory and Mato trantin finished second and stepan Kung was a very good third in some very bad weather there but nevertheless um the echelon cycling podcast favorite atti lenko has finished well is fifth fastest through the first intermediate time check so maybe lenko is thinking he can do something here any South African or well fans of little Tre look away because Ryan Gibbons through the first time check was 57 seconds down on Kevin VLAN so unfortunately I don’t think it’s going to happen but right now the standings on the road I think VLAN is losing time here on the downhill to stepan Binger he’s lost 7 Seconds there lost 7 Seconds through the third intermediate time check or 8 seconds even he’s lost 8 seconds so he needs to keep the momentum on here just yeah they know that you have to Pedal as hard as you can so um yeah it’s all still to play for what are we calling it aelan is saying let us all French call our teams World Tour um a do we really think they’re World Tour okay they have taken a stage win but uh yeah we’ll see what happens in the standings of course we’re going to get a relegation coming up as well so that should be quite fun um seeing a bit of change in the teams lot of Destiny and Israel Premier Tech are the two Front Runners to move up but aana Kazakhstan they’re finding themselves in quite of a b in terms of going the other way so aana Kazakhstan as we know this big legendary team having won all the ground tours with Alberta contador with chenu nibbi and now they are in the firing line for potentially relegation they have of course got the news that a big Chinese company might be sponsoring them so helping them out financially and they of course won’t be welcoming the news of a potential relegation from the world tour 1.2 km to go here for Kevin WLAN 60 km an hour just coming towards the corner here and uh yeah it’s uh it’s good to see here by Kevin WLAN the vice time trial Champion for France here doing very solid effort here beating M Pon in that a12 de okay it was a shorter time trout like we said but him beating uh Stefan Binga is yeah a tear up for the books as well I would say here a bit maybe is it um yeah David godo here looks like he’s going to be caught by his miniman or did he catch his miniman finishes 12 but of course that 12th Place is not going to be hanging on for sure with all the big hitters coming up behind him so I think he could maybe be top 40 if I’m honest next R is to start that we can kind of squeeze something out of in terms of interesting results hero tahada of course not mes Pon is a very good time travist on his day one stages in the tour of Denmark in the time Tri discipline that’s what I mean he’s not we spoke about this yesterday he’s not an actual pure Sprinter he’s kind of like uh he has a very good Sprint on him he’s a very good Classics writer but he does also have a time trial on him in these shorter time trials let’s just uh take a look he won the well his first longish uh time trial stage was in a French race in 2017 stage 4 20.6 km be castra Vio and Benjamin tomma and then he also took uh stage win in the tour of Denmark in 2018 and that was 19.1 Kil in new coping felster I’m sure nobody knows where that is but that’s in Shand we just saw um Kevin WLAN as well come over the line while I was just getting distracted by mes P’s time trial results so that means we have a new Hot Seat um seater or whatever you want to call it Kevin VLAN dropped a bit well didn’t he dropped a bit of time he dropped a second from the third time check until the finishing line and then of course dropping maybe 7 8 seconds um from the second time check which was at the top of the incline so he’s already taken out one Swiss Rider is going to be able to withstand this second Swiss Rider the Swiss National Champion we’re seeing a lot of new tech happening as well of course the tour France is the biggest window for these sponsors and advertisement to show off their new tech so that’s why we see so many Innovations going on particularly in time trial lik um and uh yeah Stefan Binger couldn’t quite get a faster time than uh Kevin VLAN but right now it is looking like um stepan Kung we are going to get the first time check for him shortly so uh that should be quite interesting Chris neand as well I’m not quite sure who the lvan national champion is but yeah a bit of a tear up for the books here cut has managed to get himself between bisinger and Kevin VLAN on that first intermediate time check so right now Victor campat the former hour record holder he is the man who is second place on that first time check of course he’s never taken a time trial win in a grand tour he’s managed to take a stage win in 20121 in the Jalia but never having taken a stage win from the time trial two-time Belgian national champion two-time European national uh Continental champion and uh yeah what can he do here today has he played it similar to Kevin mlan but Jonas abrahamson as well we’re seeing him he’s I don’t think he’s a prolific time draw list if I’m honest any Norwegians no Yas abrahamson what I see Yas abrahamson as more of a lead out man I don’t know if I’m completely mistaken but uh yeah we’ll wait and see 15.6 kilm to go for Victor campan out other riders coming up looking to challenge uh we were talking about M pis and he’s coming up in about 2 minutes time and that could be a challenging well I don’t know is he going to be able to challenge the times there is that bit of a lump in the middle so maybe not we’ve had plenty of riders already having finished the race or their stage and all resting up taking it easy getting ready for tomorrow stage bam gay is one of them of course the green jersey wearer unfortunately we didn’t come early enough to see him Tim willins the Belgian national champion we talked about him Ian isir we’re seeing him here on the climb H we need power data where is the power data organizers give us power data come on that is like one of the key metrics that’s missing from cycling they should just be able to tap into any Rider at any point but uh yeah we’re not there yet I’m sure he’ll come but riders that we’re kind of looking towards while we see ion isiga here 14.6 km to go the cidus rider took a stage win last year as we remember but in terms of challenging for the top 10 top five the win I don’t think that’s going to be happening on this stage he was in the Breakaway if you recall early on of the race but we’re looking towards time tral list Bob jungol of course on his day could potentially have a good time TR Alberto Beto sometimes has a good time trial on him but in about 13 minutes time we’re going to have a man who has won multiple time trials at the Toral France start and that is number eight for this Melissa bike wal vard so wal vard could be quite interesting to see unfortunately for one of my favorite writers Jakob fank he’s the minan of wart so we could see yakob fank being caught by by uh yeah W vard mes pson is starting now he doesn’t look like he’s going too hard out um yeah Nelson Ola I always mention him when he’s in a race in these time trials he always lets me down the Portuguese Rider but maybe if we don’t talk about him maybe if we ignore him he will do a good time TR um yeah Rue Costa probably not uh on for a time good time TR Nelson PES you would think not Wilco kelderman I seem to recall that he is he the Dutch has he been the Dutch national champion or is that something I’m just telling myself no 2015 o that was quite a while ago he was the Dutch national champion and of course he’s only got four victories to his name Welco kelderman despite being on the podium of the Jed’s higher only four uh victories but Victor campat he’s passing ion isira so the Bas Rider has just been passed by Victor campat and the pace is yeah quite evident between the two of them K VLAN as well we seeing Park his bike almost like you park the car in terms of a Grand Prix finish in Formula 1 I can see a lot of inspiration from uh Formula 1 kind of etching into cycling but uh that’s a good thing because I think Formula 1 has definitely set a high bar in terms of that kind of sporting event uh we were talking about wil kelderman he’s starting a bit later has actually won a stage a time trial stage we said he he was Dutch national champion but back in 2015 so almost 10 years ago but 12 well four 11 years ago he actually won the Tour of Denmark of all places by winning that uh time trial so that was quite an emphatic Victory by him Mark camish of all people came fifth in that time tral 12.1 km long so that gives you an indication that it wasn’t the longest time tral in the world but yeah a win’s a win but of course he is writing in the services of uh yonis vingo here so yonis vingo is the man that uh we’re looking towards in terms of what’s gonna happen Kevin WLAN is there some problem here oh okay no there’s no problem no problem um I was a bit worried there because I actually want to see VLAN do very well here what are we saying as well Jerome um I doubt the teams will want to share the power data though but then you have to you just have to say if you don’t want to share the power data you can’t come to the race like simple as if everyone’s doing it there’s no one really getting an advantage let’s be honest uh but yeah right now wat vard we’re seeing him getting ready is the former Belgian national champion is he going to be able to do something here great to have Eric Brown here as well I think you’re our first channel member no ver is here as well okay so we are two channel members so far and great to have six 00 people in the chat 15 km to go here from stepan K that is going to be the next danger man that we’re excited to see what he can do in terms of the standings we had Victor campanet very high up there Kon is the new fastest time as well knocking off 12 seconds from bissing on that first time check so Kon could potentially be our first well our next benchmarker by the end of it and he’s on uh The Climb here this is where we of course saw K VLAN put a whole host of time into uh Stephan bisinger was bisinger feeling it we’re not quite sure cuz we don’t have the power data give us the power data we should start a petition a petition that would not be answered by the organizers or the teams but yis abrahamson the other yis who unlike the other yoris has woron jerseys in this year’s ttal France but uh yeah hopefully yis been got will get that yellow Jersey at one point maybe it’ll be in the final time TR in n who knows but yeah right now 14.4 km left for the Norwegian polka do Jersey WEA I think there are no polka dot Jersey points off the grab sometimes the organizers put the fastest climb or the fastest yeah climbing time uh get well maybe a point or two we’ve we saw that with the San Luca time trial back in 200 and 19 in the Jalia as well as LA to Bill where Richard caterp pass was trying to take it very easy and then ramp it up on the climb itself but it didn’t work um Tad Pacha he did actually take it and that also meant that he took the polka do jersey in the end and got that legendary three jerseys that became his batting average for the next year to the France as well but right now we’re seeing Stefan Binger he’s almost catching the man that we were talking about before Yus abrahamson but abrahamson doesn’t care about this of course this is nothing to do with him so uh yeah who’s going to win this that is the question between Stefan Binger well no he’s not going to win it but Stefan K versus VLAN we’re getting uh who’s coming here towards the Finish Macho vandero the legend the manand myth whatever you want to call him he’s the next man to finish now and uh yeah I’m sure we’re going to see more of him later on aletti lenko behind him as well did he who caught who Alexi lenko I think was very close to catching yeah Macho vandero there but yeah lenko uh was that lenko catching match vapo or the other way around that is the question here it was lenko lenko is seven fastest right now seventh fastest and almost caught machol so uh yeah good ride there by lenko m vanol of course just doing enough to get through maybe it was just a zone two ride for him apparently his FTP so his functional threshold power the amount of power you can push for 1 hour is 460 that is remarkably incredible by m of vul so he should maybe be a good time trist but Remco uh not Remco and one of his countrymen Victor cards he’s just come through the time check here on the second intermediate Time Track and he is 4 seconds down on VLAN right now so it’s a quite a close battle between the these two quite a close battle between VLAN and Victor kads towards the front who’s going to take it in terms of that hot seat right now we have it got VLAN there but Stephan Kung is coming up firing he’s blistering this course right now putting 12 seconds in on the first time trick and even more into VLAN 15 seconds 15 seconds that’s a lot that’s almost two seconds per Coler there in that first stint but Victor campat 9.1 clums oh we got a mechanical here mechanical oh no is this Kung no it’s Kung oh no kung kung had a problem there oh no Kung had a problem Oh Kung just yeah what was that his chain came off or was it his deria front deria that was oh no his chain jammed this man just can’t catch a break oh that’s a shame Stephan Kung definitely losing time there and abrahamson courtesy of that is almost going to recatch him here what a shame that was a big shame K just can’t catch a break K just can’t catch a break what a shame that is a big big shame for the Swiss Maestro here ah and I think Kevin VLAN is going to be breathing a sigh of relief there um yeah h k k kung kung kung 12.3 km still to go he’s 15 seconds behind they’re saying now to Kevin WLAN and uh yeah bad luck he he’s just he absorbs bad luck in a in a time trial but um yeah he distances abrahamson as well it’s just the momentum as well get in there but yeah what a shame 843 kilom or kilom people have voted in the poll and uh great to have all of you here um yeah that mechanical was right at the wrong time for them there but uh yeah that was a big shame we might as well do a poll as well will Pacho win the Tour to France this year tour in 2024 yes or no let’s just do a quick fire pull and of course we haven’t even seen TI of Pat a warm up here but abrahamson yeah 11.5 km oh that’s such a shame I’m really gutted for stepan Kung really got it cuz uh it would have he was on fire he was blitzing the times right now but yeah that is a big big shame there big shame from Stephan Kung and the Swiss national champion and we can see yanis abrahamson almost while closing the distance here he the minute man of Stephen Kung but right now yeah yeah that’s going to be frustrating he’s going to be so annoyed so angry but uh yeah what a mechanical jammed H just that is just absolutely Dreadful to say the least great to have Clifton done 74 ah so we have two Don in the comments I thought it was the same Don apologies I thought maybe there was a name change so we have two Don here but yeah Victor campat maybe he’s going to be the next Hot Seat uh seater sitter 5.8 km to go here uh Stephan coming towards the second time check here he’s going to be flying down the order unfortunately the man who was sitting fastest he’s 18 seconds down on Kevan mlan on the second one remember he was 12 seconds no 15 seconds up 15 seconds up and then going 18 seconds down that momentum that he was carrying into it gone and I think it’s a tall order to get any time back on this final third stint of the the course for him unfortunately I think it’s done let’s be honest I think it’s not going to happen because it looked like Stephan Stephan bisinger and uh yeah and Kevin wlong were quite matched only 7 seconds I think was taken back by Stefan Binger in time relation but 10 km to go here for Stefan K to try and do do something here but it’s it’s not looking great guys it’s not looking G great this is the worst result but any fans of Giani musk on I’m sure there aren’t that many you can be fan of him as a bike rider I guess can you he hit someone while he was in the bike so um but yeah the two-time former time trial champion from Italy he is 47 second oh 4 47th right now in the second intermediate time check uh 2 minutes and 29 seconds down so we are not going to see him in the top 10 so yeah right now Mark alair is the next Rider to come up here then we’ve got uh yakob fank coming up in two minutes uh of course we all know that I’m a very big fan of Jakob Fang not just because I’m Danish because he’s also very nice but W vard is the man after him 1 minute and 30 seconds is the the staggered time difference between the Riders now so bear that in mind 1 minute and 30 seconds is what the Riders have between them Alberto Bol as well I seem to recall has he he has won time trials for sure he won the at De time trial in 2020 he won the prologue last year in the to down under um but um yeah a man whose first victory was the randan vandren it doesn’t get much better than that Alberto Beto 10.7 km was that time TR in at to B back in 2020 the man who finished second was man was caught nson man C nson of course is here and has a good time trial on him but I’m not sure that he had that right now um Kev VLAN will have breathed a sigh of relief after seeing Stephan K with that mechanical but three point well three kilm left here of Victor campat he’s the next Danger Man for the Frenchman can he must potentially do com here it says he’s 1 second up on Kevin WLAN so this is getting very spicy between these two who’s going to take that provisional hot seed here oh is this all for nothing are we just going to see Remco Veno or Ty batcha take it later on but uh yeah men who haven’t tasted success in the time trials in the Toral France but here we have one who has and that is of course W vard uh the man who was caught up in that crash in the dwor flandrin was it not and he’s wearing that Dreadful helmet that we’ve come a bit accustomed to um yeah Dreadful Dreadful helmet uh I still don’t like it but it must be good or else they wouldn’t be wearing it number eight good luck in Chinese culture is it going to be good luck favoring him today he’s certainly not had great luck when it comes to time TRS in the toural France or was it the doany I think it was the time trial 2019 he crashed that was an awful time Tri uh crash we’re seeing Stephan K really riding on the limit here this is one of his targets for the total France he is a time trial specialist it’s saying that he’s only 4 seconds down now 4 seconds down on Kevan VLAN so he’s riding out of his skin fueled by adrenaline and the anxious disappointment that could await him but right now we’re seeing Victor card is roughly the same time here roughly the same time as Kevin Wan is’s a swing a second here or there but the two of them are juking it out well klan’s not but his ghost is doing it in terms of the the time he’s doing on the road he did on the road 1.3 km to go here it’s saying m campat is up by two seconds here will this all be for nothing like we said but right now Kevin waklan uh cuts and Stephan K are the ones vying for this hot seat it’s a very spicy little competition going on now and if I had been a bit quicker we could have done um a poll uh but yeah right now Victor campart is looking Vero Arrow doing his best to try and stay as aerodynamic as possible 82030 M here 1 second 0 seconds this is very close between the two of them this is going to be very very tight very tight this and uh yeah camp out coming inside the last 600 meters this is going to be tense we can see Kevin VLAN he’s nervous about this it swings towards Kevin VLAN here as well he’s got yeah very close here he’s got a corner to come around here campat is coming towards the finishing straight 300 MERS to go he’s out of his saddle can he do something here it looks like he might have got the better of Kevin VLAN it might look it looks like the Frenchman is going to be losing that hot seat now 10 seconds N9 8 7 I think he’s inside it looks like we are going to get a new oh no ooh ooh comput is our new leader by 0.76 seconds 0.76 seconds yeah we can do the most awful helmet that’ll be our next poll 0.76 seconds that is the lead and oh that that would be a shame for VLAN where could you get like almost half a second of a of of a Advantage there G that is a shame who has the worst TT helmet we’ll go with that uh so I think sudal has a bad one we have uh V Melissa bike has a bad one who else has a bad one someone else has a bad one can you remind me who has the other bad one and then we’ll put them on I think bar and Victoria have a bad one as well um yeah this is uh this is crazy this is crazy great to have DB Cooper here hope you’re well uh guess it’s time to watch the ugly bikes that’s so mean uh but Stephan Kung had 3.2 km left remember he had that mechanical and uh yeah it’s looking like he is getting some kind of recovery back here 3 kilm to go here 3 k to go for Stephan Kung is this going to be a sensational recovery by him and if you are new here why not subscribe to the channel to see your name flash up and of course hit the like button as well we haven’t even gotten to 100 likes yet guys we’re over 750 people here but right now Victor Cut’s time is being challenged by none other than wal venard wal venard here coming towards that first time check 55 km an hour looking very smooth here very smooth um orelans say cof this as well I completely missed the cof this one but right now watar is the next Challenger with that absolutely disgusting helmet you have to say are we going to see W vard uh bring that helmet all the way to the Forefront that remains to be seen that remains to be seen but yeah W vard pushing on um yeah they they really need a victory here to lift the morale this Melissa bike the jur tire was not great taking that stage win with ol of Koy but yeah finishing with four Riders out of Brooks of course leaving the race because of illness that white jersey was a big objective stage more stage wins as well w v was of course meant to go to the jro Italia but he yeah unfortunately because of that crash couldn’t inos Grandes we haven’t even spoken about them they are of course a very good team when it comes to the time FS no Magnus Sheffield no Philip oana no no Josh Tarling in this race unfortunately so they’re going to be putting their TT hopes on Gan Thomas um Casto I mean it’s looking a bit thin on the ground Carlos Rodriguez probably not Pitcock a former Junior world time trial Champion but uh yeah hasn’t really translated that into any World Tour time trial success Nelson ala man I have hyped way too much when it comes to these time trials what can he do a former world champion medalist in terms of the time trial ped uh uh discipline as well but right now Stephen K inside the last kilometer here has he done enough to reclaim what he lost probably not it’s saying he’s 7 Seconds down on Victor campat so unfortunately I don’t think it’s going to be a stefen Kung um yeah it looks like he’s going to be the best Swiss rider for sure but yeah he he wanted a lot more he wanted a lot more uh to be honest and uh yeah apparently we’re a bit behind on the stream so uh he has already finished according to Pro cycling stats so 22 seconds down is that really true did he finish 22 seconds down on Kevin WLAN no that’s not true sorry different Stefan different Stefan um yeah Stefan Kon coming towards the Finish now of course we have got the new Hot Seat of Victor campat who is the new Benchmark it looks like Stephan Kung is unfortunately not going to be inside that time he’s outside the time and that’s a big shame for Stephan Kung there that could have been that could have been a good result for him but 8 seconds down there 8 seconds down coin hosen is the next Rider here to come towards the Finish oh no to start the race to start this uh our first time trial of the tour France uh next Riders to come towards the Finish an tratnik former Slovenian National Champion you abrahamson as well I think these guys have all finished so I think proag stats might be a bit behind but Stephen K no of course these are the guys who’ve been passed by Stephen K I believe uh but yeah abrahamson is going to be coming towards the Finish but wal vard is the man that they’re seeing right now there was a big sign where it said Bravo wal and that must have lifted morale a bit but yeah 18.8 km to go for him he’s coming very close to that first intermediate time check remember there are a number of good TT specialist in terms of that GC battle ju user of course taking stage wins in the torto Swiss and the to Romy as well am I just making that up but yeah y want AB hamson coming towards the Finishing Line that’s an ugly helmet as well oh we should have put Uno X on our a little pole here um yeah great to have a lot of love for bam gay in the comments but UNT bam gay has already finished and he’s not going to be contesting for the stage win today potentially tomorrow though potentially tomorrow could be a Binum gay stage win um yeah former National time trial champion of course himself but uh yeah we’re seeing wat V not here looking very smooth very aggressive riding uh looking very good very slick as you want to see you want to be smooth and great to have tearer here as well not good day for EF education easy post as we said not a good day their best card Ste Stefan Binga not having a great ride and uh yeah we’ll wait and see what happens here W Berard certainly uh doing a good job here uh in terms of just keeping the pressure up here he’s had somewhat of a good recovery back so many of these Riders caught up in Spring crashes of course out of the big guys what not PR much R REM Veno yis vingo but they’re all here uh so that that’s quite an achievement mes Pon as well also caught up in that crash with in dwarf D lren and uh yeah it’s it’s looking interesting 17 km to go here for him but the next kind of yeah he is the next Danger Man for this hot seat you would say but in terms of other riders coming up we have a while until we get uh the yellow Jersey of tarb gatcha the man bidding to be the first Rider to win the jro high and the tour front since Mar bani in 1998 and uh is he going to do that that is the big question but there’s a yeah is he going to take a stage win here he could be when last time we had a stage win from a Ryder in both the jro and the tour in a time trial in the same season that’s a good question I can’t quite think of one um Chris F no Garen Thomas no Garen Thomas of course is also starting the race today he’s took that opening time trial in or prologue in dorf in 2017 was it and yeah didn’t win a time trial when he won the toal France the following year but uh yeah never write him off you would say he has he packs a good time trial in his day but is today his day of course we got not only well we don’t have the European Champion that’s just harling he’s busy being in the tour of Austria I think we got the Olympic champion of Primus rogl starting in about an hourish juuzo as well not any particular title to his name Yannis vingo no title there either Remco Veno the world time trial champion and T Pacha of course former Slovenian time trial champion in the past and are we going to see who are we going to see Remco has never won a tourto France stage ever because this is the first T to France T pach of course has won two time trial stages in 2020 and 2021 you want is won that time trial stage last year that absolutely went well put a seismic shift into what was going on between this rivalry mik Landa is sitting very high up here I’m surprised he’s doing so well but yeah big fan of Landa in terms of the big guns or the the heavier part of the GC uh other time chist um hm it’s getting a bit thin vazov of course a former National Russian time trial champion if I don’t if I’m not mixing him up with something else yeah no he did no wait yeah yeah he did okay I’m not going crazy 2021 he won that um has also won a time trial in the Toral Romy back in 2022 that year he won the race but a bit of a different configuration that time trial that was more of a almost straight uphill so um yeah they they’re talking through the helmet we have of course got our helmet pole and uh yeah great to have teart here as well what are we saying top Duman top Duman yeah Tom Duman did he did he that could be a good shout oon friend of the channelon um almost 800 sub almost 800 people here welcome welcome wat V is the next Rider we are looking at he’s the big threat now to the a we don’t have Kevin VLAN anymore unfortunately the Frenchman got out seated from that hot seat um by 0.76 seconds 0.76 it’s it’s slower to say 0.76 than actually 0.76 seconds and that just gives you an indication here but Remo and yeah Primos roit could he be in the mix here uh if we go back to the Doan a we had a battle between those two and it was not in the face of Primos rogl there and that was potentially a Remco Veno not had his full Powers even there he was probably do well maybe needs a bit extra time or needed a bit of extra time just to get in into the rhythm of this uh in your scers we spoke about them well a bit and Brendan Riviera if you recall him the Colombian who actually represented Monaco of all places he took a stage winning the tour of Austria yesterday we also had a stage win today from one of my favorite Riders Diego elisi the puncher so the tour of Austria really offering some interesting competition there Michael sheff oh mag Magnus Sheffield wrong M um finishing second 3 seconds behind the Italian so yeah tour of Austria is quite an exciting little side race it’s an just unfortunate of the timing of it uh being during the tour to France they could have put it at a bit of a different time but yeah what not we’re seeing him sailing up that incline and what can he do here is he going to be able to unseat Victor comparts um yeah we’re doing the poll right now 35% of you are saying that there isn’t other ugly helmet let us know which ugly helmet that is DB Cooper as well say did you give a prediction for the stage winner today the pon seems to be picking rco Veno uh yeah so am I I’m picking rroo why do we not want to see another team take a stage win his first ever stage win in the toural France and I’m all here for the rro Veno uh toal France stage win train he’s looking very good as well thank you as well DB Cooper for a bit of coffee money really appreciate that and uh yeah what is going to happen in today’s stage that remains to be seen but I’m going to end our poll a bit early because a lot of you voted other so I think we’ll we’ll re revisit that helmet debate debate that award but uh yeah Will Will while vard uh get get the fastest time so far yes or no so there you have it fastest time okay tart a lot of you saying EF I’ll bring in EF in the next poll when we do that Uno X as well is Bahrain is that one ugly I’m not sure I’m not sure maybe I’ve just imagined that bahin we haven’t really seen any bahin rider in the coverage other than W pool’s but of course he didn’t challenge the time sheets at all unfortunately uh W vard 13.2 km to go here so that means we have had him through the time check so I’ll just give you an update on that as well W vard on the first time check was fifth faster so he was well if campat is The Benchmark now we’re going against after Kung having bad luck he was 5 seconds behind camper knuts 5 seconds behind camper knuts in that first intermediate time check we’ve got the next one coming up as well the second one um we haven’t had him come through there right now but uh yeah that comes at 14.4 km so he’s going to get very close to that now he’s coming very close to that second one but yeah we need to check the Tom Duman thing as orelon said in the comments uh because that could actually be true that he’s the last man to take a time trial in the tour and in the jro in the same year and yes I can confirm you are right aelan uh he did so in 2018 Tom Duman in uh yeah stage one he took that in the I think it was in Israel yeah Israel and then he took the final stage as well in the time trial there in 2018 of course finishing second in both of that those races and uh he also took a Time in actually he did the same thing in 2016 so uh yeah Tom Duman did it on two occasions so is not the most UN improvable thing to do W not of course never ridden the Jed Italia and is there a guy who’s done all three that’s probably asking a bit too much a a Time TR stage in all three of them of course um Duman did it consecutively you could say he did the worldest fining in 2015 then took a stage win on stage 17 in the individual time trial then he in 2016 took a stage win in the opening stage of the J Tire and then took a stage win on stage 13 individual time trial in the toural France so Tom Duman is probably the man you also could look H well is is the closest we have to that triple uh in a way well three consecutive grand Tours by 11. 5 km here we’re coming ever closer to that magic marker of the second intermediate time check and this is going to be interesting he you would say he’s the better climber of him and comput it’s better climber than Bing and Kung but of course how good is is W not right now that is a question that we desperately want the answer to but is he going to be better than the two stefans or Binger and Kung but right now number eight doing his best we’re seeing aan Kazakhstan team with heral tahada here he’s not going to be challenging the top steps or The Benchmark right now the Colombian stage winner at the tour Colombia as we said but right now it’s not going to be challenging anything the second intermediate time check as well uh yakob Fang is 14th fastest 14th fastest so a bit of respect there on the veterans name but uh yeah he’s he is a former Danish national time trial Champion if I recall that seems to ring a bell uh he has won the Tour of Denmark three occasions I believe no he hasn’t actually won it so I was incorrect but uh Ward here he’s coming up towards the line he’s bleeding time to K on WLAN here bleeding time oh wow sixth fastest 46 seconds down so Ward he’s well and truly killed our pole here that is wow I I wasn’t expecting him to be that slow so yeah what we not that is uh interesting H and um yeah that was quite yeah that that shocked me a bit I thought W not was going to be better but of course we don’t know how W not is feeling and is he thinking of bigger days as well maybe he thought the time TR was just not suiting his capabilities M Pon that I talked up for potentially getting a good result here didn’t repay it um yakob there as well in the comments noticed my CSC Jersey a very old one I picked it up from uh eBay I think um CA of course the best Danish team we’ve ever had um alas is not there anymore saxo Bank as well different iteration um what are we saying as well is this the yasper philipson fan club uh what Philipson’s very nice as a person but uh yeah in the final Sprint yesterday didn’t yeah not necessarily the best uh 13.7 km to go here Nelson Olo we briefly mentioned him coming towards that second intermediate time check here but yeah that was a bit of a shame there by what are is he just writing Recon I don’t know is he feeding back information to yis bingo yeah W vard of course winner of stages in the past and the time trial in the tal France but today I don’t think it’s going to be happening so a poll is dead the poll is dead guys I’m going to end it 60% of you said yes you had faith in W vard but he certainly didn’t repay that Faith unfortunately so we’ll go back to ugly helmets ugly helmets who has who has the ugliest ugliest helmet of the teams um yeah we were saying you guys were saying EF we were also saying Vis Malisa bike of course uh Uno X has a dreadful one and uh we can put sadal in there as well Victor card interviewed as well um he’s going to be very happy about this really we think they oh okay the pock helmet okay I think I’m just come accustomed to the pock helmet now so uh yeah uh also come up with your best nickname for the helmets which nickname can you come up with DAR Vader has been used quite a lot Star Wars rebel trooper as well for was it the sudal quickstep helmet but Vis M Lisa bike what was that one what was the VIS M Lisa bike funny one comparison to um Sam Sam asking what’s a chance for bam gay absolutely zero chance zero chance um you guys asking me if I’m Danish as well I’m very much Danish very Danish so uh yeah uh see I can I can switch it on if you want but right now we’re seeing Bruno Amaray the French national champion he’s warming up here for def kaon ag2 mundal he was the man who beat Kevin VLAN for that title a few weeks ago so maybe he can do one better here as well um yeah we’re also well that van rle bike maybe that’s better uh of course the klon ag2r getting the cathlon as a title sponsor that that has been good for them and it’s a very prominent shop as we know um yeah throughout Europe definitely all over the place in France but nilson pus who’s the yeah who’s the American time trial Champion oh I think it’s Brendon m is an not but he’s of course not in the race Quinton Pas coming towards the front here as well he’s not going to be doing anything oh there we go Colin Bradford saying sharkhead uh yellow mushroom oh there’s some great nicknames here for the Visa bike helmet uh let’s hope they’re not watching our stream I don’t think they are but yeah right now we still have Victor campat leading the race Victor campat is our leader on the road and uh for how long is he going to be able to do it that remains to be seen yeah caros saying as well while we saving energy for tomorrow yeah potentially that finish does look like it could suit him so it could potentially be his win tomorrow 3% uh in the final one one kilometer wman Greg coming up towards uh the first intermediate time check here he looks like he’s on quite a good time and uh yeah it should be quite a good one to say the least for well kpam 2J they kind of have to rethink what they’re doing after this whole uh Stephan Kon incident with that bad mechanical so if you’re just joining Stephen Kung was having a blistering time but then had an untimely a mechanical there so that was a bit of a shame um yeah I told you who’s the fastest Victor cut Victor cut is our fastest Rider by 0.76 seconds 0 76 seconds uh of course just stealing the moment away from Kevin VLAN so the debutant Kevin VLAN losing that time unfortunately at the last time check uh I’m not quite sure why has Kevin WLAN disappeared from the last standings is this just a mistake from Pro cycling stats does anyone know anything cuz I can’t see Kevin mlan at the final standing so that’s a bit weird uh did they get the timings wrong cuz they say he’s got 31 minutes which I 1 minute and 16 seconds down that’s got to be a mistake no uh but yeah we’ve got uh Roman greguar here one of the Wonder Kids for the French generation coming through of course they’ve also got Lenny Martinez part of that team but those two are rumored away from kdj we talked about that over on the cycling D extra Channel and the cycl D podcast about the room well in our transfer Talks Of course and uh looks like that Roman Greg might be on his way to Red Bull borans scrow of all places and what a signing that would be for Red Bull Bor hrow for the future will kelderman is the next Rider starting and on the TV pictures we’re seeing him the former tour of Denmark winner former Dutch national champion but that was a while ago and former Podium finisher of the Jalia and a former top five finisher at the toor front already having crashed in this year’s to France on stage one and uh I probably think he’s just going to be making his way slowly through this stage no anti anticipation of a top result from him but uh I think uh yeah let’s see if he can just recover some form as well and uh he’s very much going to be lent on lent on by yonis vingo after having no sep Cruz here him and yeah Matel jensson have to kind of fill the boots of sep Cruz but that are those are some mighty boots to fill let’s be honest but yeah Wilco kelderman Oscar Onley as well the Scottish um well he’s not scotter he’s not any time trial Champion n but the youngster he’s certainly won for the future for DSM feric um he’s coming up shortly as well Warren Bill former poka do Jesse we as we know the well the former polka Jersey wearer on behalf of yonas abrahamson he’s starting a minute and a half in in front of Bruno Amaray the French national champion then we’ve got Roman Beres we have three French Darlings coming up soon and then we got the former Junior National well Junior world champion in the past of Tom piok from Ino Gren is starting as well in about 10 minutes time so about 10 minutes time pck is coming on the road but I don’t think he’s going to be lighting up our time trial sheets unfortunately but Roman greguar he certainly looks like he’s giving a good account of self here on the bike but in terms of next Danger Man of these time tral lists H it’s getting a bit thin on the ground right now of course it’s going to get more exciting when we potentially come past Richard Caro pass Chris Harper Evan velder could get put in a good time here uh Jack hag I didn’t even know Jack hag was in the race Steph crass as well Lawrence deplo I don’t think he’s going to give a good one Derek G coming up as well two-time uh Canadian national champion not sure how much Merit there is on that a National Championship uh that’s not me being harsh that’s just how many World Tour Riders are competing for it um yeah 2024 that was won by a continental Rider so uh yeah we’ll wait and see what happens but um right now we’re getting Julian Bernard another Frenchman riding for little track his father of course a former and pro as well and uh we’ll see what he could do here apologies um yeah I think I need a bit of water as well Julian Bernard little Tre what was their best chance of success in the time trial M Pon Tom scin Tom scorin of course a former national champion in lvia um but uh yeah Julian Bernard he’s just going to be rolling through this stage saving as much energy as possible they could potentially have a busy busy stage uh tomorrow if they’re thinking about mes Pon could it be mes pson W philipson towards the front with bam gumay as well um yeah that that could be quite interesting to say the least but great to have so many people in the chat and uh 167 likes of course we have got a competition available uh for you all I talked about it a lot yesterday and um yeah I hope you all have subscribed well you clearly haven’t cuz there’s less subscribe more subs well less subscribers than there are viewers here so uh I’ll link to a video and then you can hide over to the community chat and uh there you can see uh how to enter the competition for um yeah for the prize that we have up for grabs ass signed cap by vinent nibbly V Melissa by cap as well and then a nice postcard then you can s send to a friend a family member um of the Tour of France of uh yeah the Tour of France the yonus Bingo winning moment from last year if I’m not mistaken but Roman greguar he’s probably our closest Danger Man to the top five right now on course the youngster heading for potentially Red Bull Bor Hans and uh yeah are we going to see him challenging the time Kevin mlan here on the second intermediate time check it looks like I no but he is going to get inside the top 10 provisional fastest Riders fifth fastest 36 seconds down so uh 36 seconds down that is uh yeah bit of a shame there well he’s not really a TT specialist so it’s a good ride by him and shows that he’s really going all out right now um yeah it’s certainly an exciting stage towards when we get the big guns in the GC we’re 6 minutes away from getting Tom pockock can Tom pockock do something here he was talking about a GC effort in terms of this year’s total France but I think that’s kind of disappeared we’re seeing Lawrence the PLO and Garen Thomas they’re warming up here for the time trial um can they get some kind of success we know they’re so good against the clock and uh yeah they’re very good against the claros Grandes they almost just occupy most of the positions in a top 10 of uh toural fronts or any stage if you will and uh all we going to see in your screen is get inside the top 10 I have my doubts right now in the top 10 let’s just walk through our provisional top 10 in this stage stage seven of the total front we’re third of the way through or we will be by the end of it but our current top 10 at the Finish we missed wal Bernard as well why did we miss what have not H Victor cat leading and apparently Kevin WLAN is in ninth which is weird so Victor Kut is in first place then you’ve got the two stefans of Stefan Kung Stefan bisinger or losano in a strong fourth place then W Bernard in fifth place rul Garcia in sixth place and Michael Matthews in seventh place Nils pollet in eighth place VLAN I’m not sure if this is a mistake or not is in eighth place or Ninth Place and then atti lenko in 10th place currently but the fastest time right now is 29 minutes and 44 seconds 29 minutes and 44 seconds average speed of 50.84 7 km so that gives you an indication here but if you’ve ever been on a Time TR bike you will realize how easy it is to go very fast they are speed machines speed machines um but uh yeah we’ll wait and see what happens deeper into this stage are we going to see tacha REM Veno and y v and Prim RL all battling it out for the stage win H I don’t know we’ll wait and see i’ would love to see it rich here saying love the DZ nuts Jersey DZ is are is is this David sa britzky is that the man we’re talking about um but yeah right now we’re seeing Julian Bernard not really lighting up the time sheets here and uh unfortunately all our Binum gay fans you’re a bit late because bam the green jersey he’s finished his time but he’s not going to be winning the stage today tomorrow he might do though tomorrow he might well be in contention once again for a stage win 21.3 km and this is a bit of a lull in terms of the big challenges we’ve got Bob yogul coming towards the Finish as well Alberto bettio T benut is coming towards the Finish um he’s of course not going to be lighting anything up really and ruk Costa also on the course we’ve got pavl COV nilon prowess we talked about him Tom s coming towards that first intermediate time check as well Warren B is on the course Valentin madw is on the course as well and the next Rider to start on the stage is Bruno Amaray the National time child Champion he’s the next Rider then we got Roman bade then we’ve got Tom pck then we’ve got Carlos Rodriguez and then Uno X again with odd Christian Ain but we’re getting ever closer to that top 10 top 20 and Bruno Amaray here what can he do here former well former malosa as we said two time French national champion uh he’s finished second two times as well never taken a grant or stage win only three victories to his name in terms of his professional career two of them being those National time trial titles and uh yeah Nelson Ola coming towards the finish here he’s going to be fifth fastest currently fifth fastest for Nelson Ola so I assume he’s going to be finishing outside the top 10 here I think outside the top 10 when we come to the Finish when everything has been set in stone of this stage stage seven of this year’s toal France remember it’s about 25 km long here but Bruno and Mariah looking very very smooth here are we going to see him potentially taking the stage win n probably not probably not um but right now in terms of our vote uh 55% of you so the majority of you think that the VIS Malisa bike helmet is absolutely the ugliest TT helmet that we’ve seen I agree with that I absolutely agree but but that Uno X helmet is certainly not something to look out for too long it’s a bit of an eyesa as well hman not a great time trialist here he’s the next Rider to start our first yellow Jersey wearer of this year’s to France stage winner as well in that first stage into riny and uh that is of course a well a moment he will never ever forget and the day after when he was wearing the yellow Jersey but when it comes to time trials he’s not the greatest 40th in stage 14’s time trial in Italy 31.2 km actually dropped down two places in the GC courtesy of that and on the 40.6 km time tral to peruja he was 18 so he’s not going to be challenging their top 10 I think um but uh yeah we’ll see what he can do here he’s sitting 30 35th right now in GC so he’s going to be hoping to do the snakes and ladders GC that we become so accustomed to seeing from hu karthy from Guam Matan that kind of Rider so maybe B is going to be doing that kind of thing here and yeah wat vard finished in fifth place provisionally but I think that fifth place is going to come under some scrutiny from some of the other Riders as well who’s going to be that top five top 10 I think the top five is going to be changing a lot from the top five we have right now and uh there’s certainly some riders in here that uh could do a very fast time but uh yeah who’s going to win the stage we had the poll earlier and you guys think it’s going to be T gcha I’m in the other Camp I think it might be Remco Veno of all people winning the stage but yeah that’s the great thing about the sport You’ never know what’s going to happen look at stepan Kung he was on track for being the fastest time and then boom mechanical so uh yeah Tom pockock like we said the 2017 Junior world time trial Champion he’s the next one to start for inos granders very bullish about his chances in the GC but it’s come from nothing here cuz he’s 34th in GC so we’re 33 Riders still left to start 32 Riders between pockock and TB gatcha here he might take a stage win though and well he could even be involved in the gravel stage of course a former St Yankee Champion um not this year but the year before and yeah 22.4 km to go here for Bruno amarai and can he potentially do something here can he convert it to a victory that remains to be seen that would be a tear up for the books if we have a French time trial winner ah let’s be honest I don’t think that’s going to happen I don’t think you think it’s going to happen either I’m not sure Brun amarai thinks it’s going to happen maybe a top 10 That Could That Could Happen and uh yeah it’s certainly an exciting one to say the least between the big GC favorites with Remco vle being the world champion and um yeah is it going to happen we wait and see but right now we’re seeing that beautiful Pock helmet that many of you don’t like from EF education easy post um just sailing through it with Nelson pus here nilson pis a very good talent here we haven’t really seen him at the front of the race like we saw last year he was battling it for that pokero Jersey um was it last year yeah it was last year wasn’t it or was it the year before am I confusing the two additions so uh yeah we wait and see what what Nelson pares can do kind of deeper into the race I think he was ready to work for uh Richard kopas GC Onslaught but that assault hasn’t really transpired like they were hoping that early stages the S Luca stage really looked like we had the old car pass back the car pass who’s finished on the podium in the tour in the Welter and in the jro and even won the jro but yeah it’s not good but they’ve had the day in yellow but they would want so much more year for Education easy post let’s be honest just having a day in the yellow yeah of course it was headlines but it wasn’t they want more they’re greedy they can’t just have one day they want more days they want stage wins but are they going to get that it’s not up to them well it is up to them but it’s also up to the other Road is how the other Riders ride 34 Riders uh well the 34th Rider like we said Tom peock setting off and we’re getting ever closer to that more nitty-gritty stage Carlos Verona is the next Rider the Leal Trek Rider who’s already started odd Christian iing as well he’s starting in about a few seconds forx Mobility the former uh red jersey leader in the Welter espania not winner leader and then we got Ben Healey coming up as well Ben Healey um no I was thinking he was national champion in the time Tri that’s not true two-time national champion on the road did win the national time trial championships for Ireland back in 2022 and Roman greguar is coming towards the Finish now it looks like he’s going to be outside the time of Victor campat by quite a sizable chunk and he’s just sailing down the order now six fastest is in view yeah sixth fastest provisionally sixth fastest 45th or 45 seconds down so Roman greguar quite a good time that by the youngster first ever toward France if I’m not mistaken and what a talent to lose by grp fdj such a shame for them so who have we got coming up next Ben H we talked about him Garen Thomas as well former time trial stage winner at the Tour of France before former Tour of France winner as well and then Fresh Off The Jalia did a very good J there and we’ve also got Lou mes as well I suspect he might uh not be seeing garan Thomas and then we kind of got more of the climbers coming in Lou mes as we said Richard caras Chris Harper Jack hag Steph crass but not that many good time trilers here Lawrence dplo Derek G Simon Yates um I think Julian Bernard might be from this area because he’s just cheering on the crowd here High everyone and uh yeah quite having the time trial of his life just partying up this incline but great to have almost have a thousand people here let us know where you’re watching from as well and who you think is going to win the stage today um there’s certainly a lot of riders still to go here 30 about 30th Riders left one of them being of course tacha one of them being the world champion Remco Veno and well right now we’re just seeing Julian Bernard the little track Rider who’s going to be working for uh m P of course but yeah exciting times to say the least in the race of what’s going to come but of course the deeper we come into the race they had this I think they had the one minute margin then they did between the Riders start time then they just turned it up a bit to 1 minute and 30 between the Riders of a Time Gap and that started from Stefan Binger to Michael Matthews and when we get into the bigger GC guys we’re going to go from 1 minute and 30 second start Gap to 2 minutes of a start Gap um yeah do you think REO vapo is going to catch yonis vingo they’ve got a two-minute gap between the two of them I think probably not Juan Yuzu as well the top five guys are all very good time tral list you could see maybe pretty much Ro glitch catching Carlos Rodriguez that could be on the cards but yeah remember we’ got tacha leading the Tour of France of course Remco Veno in second place right now yoris vingo in third juuzo in fourth Primos rogl in fifth sixth place Carlos Rodriguez oh Julian Bernard with his fans I think that was his wife as well just hugging there so I think Bernard is well and truly on home roads here so uh that’s on me for not knowing that Julian Bernard on home roads I think uh never I feel like I know where that is um yeah so that’s quite nice to see that his family there greeting him the fan club many of these Riders have personal fan clubs and yeah that that was quite a quite a moment there for him so yeah Bruno Mar man who’s not going to be celebrating at all on this stage unless he gets the top spot he’s looking very good 17.2 km to go so we’re going to see him uh get well make his way towards the make his way towards he’s not actually well is he close to here I was just seeing uh Julian Bernard how close his birth places to here we’re very close to dejon as well uh yesterday’s finishing town but uh W vard talking there he said the sensations were there but it was extremely hard so that gives you an indication that maybe vard was pushing but the legs were just not quite there maybe he was using this as a tester for tomorrow just to get a bit more form I don’t know we can only speculate there but great to have over a thousand people in the chat let us know where you’re watching from and of course if you want to get involved in our competition all you have to do is head over to our little brother channel of the cycling day extra and then all you have to do there is subscribe to the channel and also get involved in the community Community post to get your um get your entry in for that and if you want to stop me from keep mentioning this the only way is hitting the Subscribe button on that channel and getting us to a th000 then I will be quiet and you won’t hear me ever say that sentence again and that link will never be shared again in the Stream but uh until then R here 17.5 km to go in terms of our standings let’s just recall what the top 10 looks like at the finish line right now we have got Victor campat still leading with Kevin VLAN back where he was before so that was a bit of a mistake by um Pro cycling stats we did question that Kevin VLAN in second place only by 0.76 seconds then we have Stephan Kung after that mechanical 8 seconds down unfortunately um yeah then he’s ahead of his Countryman of Stefan Binga and then Nelson Ola the best Portuguese Rider at Fifth Place Roman greguar uh is the second best French Rider and second best kpam DJ Rider then we’ got ooso the ma Star Rider in seventh place wat aren in eighth place now so he’s moved down quite a bit since we last spoke about it rul Garcia of ARA BNB is in Ninth Place Michael Matthews in is inside the provisional top 10 that is quite a good result by him um has he I believe he’s won like a prologue or something uh of course Michael Matthew is a very good writer has he not won yeah prologue tour to romendy back in 2018 but I’m sure he’s won more prologs tour of Slovenia he won in uh 2015 prolog in Paris niece as well in 2016 so you see Michael Matthews has a good record against the clock when it’s a short distance but I think this distance is a bit too long Bruno amarai we’re seeing him the danger man right now on course 14.6 km to go here we’ll see what his time is at the top of the climb but in terms of that first intermediate check the fastest time overwhelmingly is Stephan Kung so a bit of a shame that he couldn’t well the bad luck got the better of him next R to start is Richard caras the national time Tri Champion for Ecuador what can he do here wearing that Pock helmet he’s looking for a good result here can he bounce back in the GC in the second week in the third week that remains to be seen but right now his GC run has certainly taken a whack to the face and uh yeah Jonathan vtas is certainly not going to be happy about this a lot of money is being paid to the Ecuadorian to do better results so uh yeah I think the critics are har but the bank check or the bank account is certainly very big as well so to commit so much resource being one of the smaller teams yeah that’s why there’s a bit of frustration there but Bruno marai 10 seconds down currently on Victor camper outs we’re getting so virtual virtual time on the road the live tracker is saying 10 seconds is the difference Garen Thomas is started as well we missed that the 2018 total France Champion the podium finisher of this year’s jir Italia and what can the welshmen do here can he potentially get a good result 22 km separating him from the Finishing Line and yeah we remain to see well we remain to see if he’s going to be able to do something here we’re getting an indication here that he’s actually got a faster time than Victor campat early on we’ll wait till the first time check for sure but uh yeah Julian Bernard coming through here 1 minute and 42 seconds down well obviously we knew that he stopped to hug his wife so of course um but Julian Bernard I think a very popular guy here I think he certainly must be from the area not too far here maybe some of our French friends like Oran can tell us in the comments if Julian Bernard is actually from the area because it seems like he is and uh yeah uh great to have so many people in the chat over 1,000 people if you’re new why not hit the like button subscribe to the channel here as well to see your name flash up on the stream but Bruno marai he’s struggling a bit it seems here G Thomas is going to going to be an intriguing one to follow right now he looked like he was just lighting the time sheets up a bit here but great to have so many people in the chat and Bruno marai is he going to win his first ever Toral front stage oh it’s it’s uh yeah tart asking me where I am and that’s of course a surprise because I am sitting in one of the destinations of the Tour of France but I’m not going to tell you which where it is until until it actually happens because we’ll have videos about that of course so you’ll have to subscribe to the cycl day action channel to find out for that another incentive but uh 30 13.3 km still to go here Brun amurai pushing the pedals here what can he do here Brun Al marai such a strong Rider former wearer of the malio Ros as we said uh was it in 2022 I always mix up the additions but garan Thomas here the gold medalist former Commonwealth medalist former British national champion former stage winner in the time trial in the Toral France such a prolific winner of multiple stages but can he do it once more here um yeah Garen Thomas a very popular figure amongst fans as well and uh yeah can he roll one out more in terms of a good time trial result maybe he’s been able to take it a bit easier and that means that he can just push on here so such a accomplished Rider and right now we’re seeing one of his colleagues inos Grand here uh Tom pockock driving up the climb here what time is he going to get we’ll see we’ll see temp pitock I don’t have too much faith in him uh as a time trialist but uh maybe he can prove me wrong uh H Tobias Hal johanneson the former total avaner winner he’s rolled through as well on that third intermediate time TR he is 2 minutes and 37 seconds down so the Uno X rer is not going to be doing anything poock rolled through the first time check 1 minute and 4 seconds down on Stephan Kung so yeah um probably not going to happen almost 50 seconds down on W vard odd Christian iing as well more Norwegian disappointment 11 minutes and 1 second so uh 1 minute and 1 seconds down on stepan Kung but again these guys are not thinking about time tral Glory is here or GC protection Jack heg is the next Rider to come here Baran Victorious a bit in a yeah in a weird State of Affairs really because Bill ba was suffering and they’re not in the Great’s position they had such a great tour to France last year of course paying homage to uh gin mea was such a touching moment and uh yeah bil B sitting on the fringes of the top 10 so right now in that kind of top 15 Zone top 20 Zone and maybe he can bounce back he has sometimes let’s check his time trials as well um Bill ba not the greatest time talist in the world recently took a stage win in the Toro Slovenia of course we have the highlights of that over on the cycling day extra Channel um time trials this year eighth in the UAE one but that was only 12.1 km long still a good result you have to say um had a good season so far somewh that win in the tour of Slovenia finishing second overall sixth in his home race of the tour of the Bas country ninth in Le B Le and I’m still gold and third in the UAE tour maybe he would have wanted more in the UAE tour considering the opposition he was up against and then six in they T Valencia in the beginning of the year so not not not an amazing result like amazing season but certainly not a bad season a solid season that’s probably the appropriate word to use there but Bruno Mariah coming through the second intermediate time check French fans look away because your man is far down 38 seconds down seventh place now G that’s a shame that is a big shame here but EF education easy post with Ben Healey Ben he looking like he’s having a great time here on the bike 15 seconds quicker than Victor cenard can that be right if that is right that is a tremendous effort here by Ben Healey Ben Healey is he going to be a unlikely Underdog here a dark horse that we haven’t even been discussing but Ben Healey is he doing an absolutely ball over time here that remains to be seen Ben Healey a great Rider of course as we know stage winner of the jayre last year but is he going to be able to do something here on this year’s stage uh DB Cooper asking is my son Luca time on straa um I’m not sure uh I’m not sure if I was wearing a Garmin I don’t think I was so uh yeah unfortunately that time is not going to be on straa I think I will return one day and do it on a proper bike just so we can get some comparison um yeah 15.2 km to go here for Ben Healey is he going to be able to do something here H EF education easy post of course uh Stefan Bingo was what they saw as their best opportunity for the stage win but it’s not looking like well that’s not going to happen because the man from Switzerland didn’t manage to record the fastest time so they are looking towards other opportunities not thinking it’s going to be the national Ecuadorian champion of Richie caras but Ben Healey could potentially be an unlikely top 10 finisher top five are we going to say he’s going to take the stage win I think that’s that push don’t you think but yeah it’s all still to play for here for the stage honors we still have the big boys to come as well we’re seeing tyat a warm up and uh can the yellow Jersey potentially put more time into his Rivals his chief rival in terms of the GC standings right now is Remco Veno and Remco Veno of course is the nation well he was the national time trial Champion for Belgium at one point but right now and European Champion I believe the youngest ever European Champion was he younger than T Josh Tarling I’ll get back to you on that one but he certainly is uh a prolific Rider rco Veno one by day coming through here the first inter or second intermediate time check 22nd fastest 1 minute and 24 seconds down um Ben Healey uh he’s coming up here what is he going to be doing here is he going to be able to do anything here Ben Healey uh Derek G many of our Canadian friends are hoping for maybe a stage win from the Canadian he very much Rose to prominence last year made a name for himself in that Year’s Jalia potentially can make one once again finishing in the excruciating position of second in the points and second in the mountains Jersey and yeah no stage wins either plenty of second places but certainly was climbing very well third in the doof this year took a stage win there so uh yeah we’ll see what he can do but as we know doofan form doesn’t always translate over to the total France but under 15 km to go here for Garen Thomas we’re getting uh indications that he’s slower by 6 seconds to Victor cerut but you would think that the toor France champion from 2018 potentially could make up a bit of time here one of the men doing the Z tour double but of course um nobody really has Garen Thomas on the favorites list for this year’s toal France and if you do good luck to you that’s all I’m saying they are of course riding more for Carlos Rodriguez’s chances here but Garen Thomas yeah potentially could name NAB some Glory here for himself and uh yeah are we potentially gonna see Ben Healey teasing the current um poll setter pole no that’s Formula One um hot seat are Victor campat they’re saying 18 seconds quicker here 18 seconds quicker so through the first time check he was just a bit slower than Stephan Kon so Ben hey was just a bit slower than Stefan Kung and that’s 12 seconds quicker than his teammate of uh of Stefan Binger so that’s just an achievement in itself Adam yat here sing 13th in GC Freeman and 21 seconds down last year’s third place finisher not the best guy against the clock one of the best climbers in the world of course but uh yeah is he going to be able to do something here we’ll wait and see um that could be a funny one who will be the faster of the eight brothers today uh you would probably think it’s going to be Simon um no okay who will be faster today will it be RIT or will it be vingal I think that’s a good little in uh tester so now it’s head-to-head polls binary polls so there is no third or or second uh there is no third or fourth choice it is just two choices now um yeah Mike as well saying that the overall a what are we saying I think from the overall average uh the last man so yeah time cut according to Mikel meru hear that that’s how you properly pronounce that name not like how all the English commentators are saying Mikel morkov which sounds Russian Mikel meru that’s the name the lead arm man of course for Mark Cades um yeah saying 25% of the winning time is the cut off today so I mean that does that is dangerous because uh that means you can’t just take it easy you really do have to go for it um K-pop girl group I don’t even have one I wouldn’t even know what to write for the favorite K-pop but Julian Bernard he comes through to the Finish crosses the line and uh the home favorite I guess uh yeah having a great day on the bike but not in terms of the results but seeing his wife on the course so that was very nice or partner we we shouldn’t assume that they’re married um yeah what is going to happen in today’s stage for Litt Trek probably nothing let’s be honest I think uh yeah seeing all all the posters with him Al JB La JB that was very nice and uh seeing his his kid and his W I can’t see a ring I can’t see a ring so I’m partner we’ll go with partner let’s keep it safe and uh yeah what are we saying as well Mikel Maru this morning said 25% of the cut of time can you explain what that precisely means is it based on the last man or the overall average um was a 25% cut off time so presume that’s 25% if you’re 25% slower than the front man uh Valentine madas has been passed by his teammate Brun am maray so yeah if that makes sense to everyone so if the winning time was uh 40 minutes 25% of 40 that’s 10 minutes so if you’re finishing if you’re slower than 50 minutes over the course you do not proceed to the next stage um so that could potentially put a number of riders in danger here I don’t know if they like the slow Mark is actually calculated that uh but we’ll never know uh what did they kind of think but here uh Ben Healey is coming up and he is going to be tickling that fastest time of the second intermediate Sprint losing a bit of that Advantage here but I think he’s going to come over two seconds quicker two seconds quicker typical isn’t it I don’t think we have any Irish people in our in our chat and an Irishman or Irishman sorry I’m still not going to call him a real Irishman plastic Irishman of Ben Healey yes I know if you declared for a nation you are that Nation but uh I I’m not okay with it I feel like I feel like the British writers are using Irish uh nationality quite a lot which I don’t like um but anyway Bill b as we talked about the one of the GC favorites here top 10 finisher last year stage winner as well potentially he can do something here so uh yeah Ben Healey doing his best here to set the time sheets a light and what a ride he’s having right now what an absolutely scintillating ride from Ben Healey what a great ride that is and uh we’ll see what happens but we are 800 we’re almost a th000 people in the chat so if you haven’t already make sure to get involved in our competition which is available on our little brother channel the cycling day extra you can subscribe to that and uh check out the community post on that channel or on here and yeah as soon as we hit a th000 then that prize is put into a raffle so uh less than a kilometer left now for the national time trial champion of uh of France Bruno amarai with his teammate valtim madis they’re almost doing a two up here great to have in the comments I’m sure Patty’s not going to agree with my plastic Irishman and Johnny Sweeney great to have you all here but I think Ben Healey is a very nice guy so we can look past it we can look past it uh inside the last 700 meters here for Valentine madis and Bruno marai they’re almost doing a two-up here guys this is not a two-up uh the two teammates here inside the last 500 meters come on let’s go let’s go let’s go uh teot saying as well like Dan Martin yes we can can I have a long list Connor done um who else who else um but brunin armari coming towards the Finish it’s not going to be uh tickling the top three he’s outside the top five as well it looks like Bruno marayan his teammate well with the help of his teammate getting dragged along here he’s going to be inside the top 10 but that’s it it’s not going to be an electric time here so the man he beat Kevin waklan has a much better time he beat him in the Nationals but here in the total France he has not beaten him eight fastest time and I’m sure that Bruno amurai is going to be pushed out pushed out of the top 10 unfortunately so uh any French French fans Look Away there but um yeah um Garen Thomas if we have any Welsh fans look away because Garen Thomas we were thinking that he might be going absolutely rapid here but he’s going backwards unfortunately 1 minute and 5 Seconds behind the leader of Ben uh Ben Healey here so that is a big shame that is a big shame for Garen Thomas we’re thinking maybe the former Champion had taken it easy over the past number of days and then just geared up for this but alas that’s not the case we waiting to see what happens here but Ben Healey doing a great great ride here 6.9 km left 6.9 km that’s all that’s left of this stage today for Ben Healey can he take the victory uh by the end of the stage what are we saying here as well lock Hill 21 Irish National and Irish nationality would allow you to stay in the EU all year without work visa and time restrictions and they will still voted for farage uh yeah uh 6.5 clums I can’t believe we got farage mentioned farage nidal farage mentioned on uh on uh to FR stream of course of course uh the UK had the their election uh announced this morning but we won’t go into politics new prime minister um let’s let’s see if he’s a cycling fan that would be nice 6.2 km left here Ben Healey EF education easy post hoping that they’re going to take the hot seat now is he going to take it this would be a very popular hot seed this uh hilly specialist um as we know uh certainly doing a great effort here in terms of our poll as well we’re doing a head-to-head battles now and you guys think yonas Wingo is going to finish faster than the Olympic champion faster than the Olympic champion Ian Mana as well he’s on a good time here the Remco vandol look alike on a bike van Milda here looks like he’s close to the time of Victor compard compan out of course our Benchmark right now and uh yeah we’ll wait and see if anything happens in terms of that hot seat until we get to the big guns in the GC of course of course we are inside the top 15 right now so there’s plenty of riders to come uh Adam Yates is the next Rider to start we talked about him a bit before so that must mean that we have Simon Yates on the course we haven’t seen Simon Yates at all yeah Simon Yates is coming towards the first time check here Roman B coming towards the Finish 2 minutes and 9 seconds down that is yeah not a fast time but Roman bad not known for his TT specialty 4.9 km all our Irish friends are waiting with anticipation here we’re getting it’s about a four 4 to 3 second Gap here Richard cater pass as well any equadorian I know we have a few maybe they’re not here today but yeah cater pass he is down on that second intermediate time check 42 seconds 42 seconds down so ninth quickest time so not a bad catle pass time you have to say catle pass not known for his time trial speciality despite being the Ecuadorian national champion Derek G here coming through with a fast time so me throwing a bit of shade on the Canadian national championships yeah karma karma karma karma uh fifth fastest time in the first intermediate time check there so Derek G very good time by the Israel Premier Tech leader and apparently two seconds up on win to compan outs comput of course in the first time check um yeah cuts a bit slower there camper outs a bit slower so maybe camper outs is going to get a bit of challenges coming up so uh yeah that is going to be very interesting to say the least um who’s going to take this who’s going to take the stage um yeah let’s let’s start another poll because almost 300 of you have voted there uh Ben Healey is he going to be well no 3.5 kmers to go I don’t think that uh that is going to be um let’s not talk about that um what are we saying as well uh overall time please overall time do you mean who’s leading right now right now the leader is still well is this this can’t be true they’re saying Tom pockock is leading I don’t think that’s true yeah okay sometimes there are a few glitches in proy stats but the leader is still Victor Camp outs but the man looking to unseat camp outs is flying through the the course right now he’s looking very aerodynamic very slick on the road and that is Ben Healey the stage winner of the jti last year also fished on the podium in the end Classics but van Velda here coming towards the first or the second intermediate time check 20 seconds down the sudal quickstep rer but of course is going to be feeding information through to his world time trial Champion teammate of Remco Veno but right now Ben he absolutely riding out of his skin here unfortunately he’s not the not the Irish national champion in the time trial something he has been in the past but um yeah this is a solid ride by the Irishman can he do something here oh this would be a very popular win if he took it but the man that is looking to win it today is Remco Veno the debutant of the Toral France the white jersey winner wearer right now and do we think maybe he is going to be winning the stage today he could potentially take on the yellow Jersey if he puts enough time into Tad batcha but that looks fairly unlikely is it well anything can happen as we saw with Stephan Kung anyone joining as well stepan K having a bad mechanical in the wrong moment Derek g 14 km to go here I’m sure many of our Canadian friends are going to be holding their breath here don’t hold it too long because this could be a great result great result here apparently it was 30 15 seconds down on the fastest time um of course that is Ben Healey’s time or is it is it Ben Healey’s time no it’s still Stephan K’s time but of course Stephan K nowhere by the Finishing Line um yeah Matel jensson is the next one to come here Matel jensson the American champion wearing that ridiculously looking helmet um from Miss Melisa bike but what can he do here uh um yeah a big question mark here the Paris nce winner the podium finisher of the Criterium D and don’t forget about his dwor vandin win as well he was the man the last man to try and stay on Macho vul’s wheel in the tour of Flanders he’s had such an accomplished season already the new boy for this Melissa bike but Ben Healey is losing time now apparently Ben Healey is losing time so Irish friends look away look away your boy is not in a good place right now so yeah we’ll wait and see here so it look like campat is getting time back and uh yeah who’s going to where is he going to end up here 500 meters to go 500 met to go the time he’s looking for is 29 minutes and 44 seconds but I don’t think it’s going to be his day here 18 seconds to get to the finishing line inside the last 300 MERS here he’s going to be doing the Sprint of his life here to try and get the hot seed right now now in the ttal France on stage seven is Ben Healey has he done enough here to get the fastest time no the fastest time just disappeared there so he’s dropping down the order now fastest third fastest potentially yeah third fastest time there 7 and a half minutes uh not minutes seconds 7 and a half seconds so that was a good good effort there by Ben hey the best year education e post riter right now and probably will be by the time we finish the stage managing to go faster than the TT Specialist of Stephan Binger so good good ride there by Ben Healey there what a ride that was and maybe his silly looking helmet um was part of it who knows um but yeah Ben Healey he did a great ride there carts there just grimacing just bit worried there I think I would be as well but yeah let’s see what happens right now in terms of the other dangerman for Victor campat of course Ben Healey uh third place right now Stephen Kung still setting in eighth place and second place mlan with only 0.76 seconds between him and Victor campat Victor Cuts this is going to be a good moment for him but nerving moments when the big guns really come Egan beral has started as well the Jalia Tor the France champion in the past Felix gal is on the road as well he’s looking for another top 10 finish for A2 citrin or a the kathin AIT uh and then jilon who looked very good on the gbia he’s the next one to start then we’ve got Al MAA of course we got the two two minute gaps now between the GC Riders is no longer the minute or the minute and a half now it’s the twoin gap between them Mato jensson 22.7 km left here uh Derek G 13 seconds down on the first intermediate time check like we said and um we await him uh to come to the second one shortly so we’ll see if he’s made any inroads to Ben Healey or Kevin VLAN but it’s very interesting that the fastest time on the first time check Stephen K but of course he had the mechanical but Ben Healey being the fastest on the second time check K VLAN quite close and then on the third time check uh it was Kevin mlan with the fastest time but then at the Finishing Line Kevin Victor Cuts was the fastest so Cuts actually making up 4 seconds on uh VLAN on that final in those final kilometers between um the time trial uh on the time check uh three to the finishing line which of course is 6 kilm long but Garen Thomas coming towards the Finish now uh number yeah he’s going to be outside the top 15 here unfortunately so Garen Thomas the Welshman bit of a shame there and um yeah 15th fastest 1 minute and 29 seconds down so what could have been what could have been but Derek G is coming up towards the time check here what can he do here second time check for him the Canadian stops the clock 13 seconds down on Ben Healey 13 seconds down so you lost a bit of time there so uh yeah we’ll see how much she’s got left in the bank in terms of this the final part the downhill and then the 6 kmers as well um Mike is asking do you know what today’s slowest time is I don’t think I do because we don’t actually have access to that I’ll try and see if I can get it and uh yeah it’s uh it’s not looking good for some of these Riders um friend of the channel Jo mea is the next guy to start and he’s of course a former time trial champion from Portugal and is very fast when it comes very solid against the clock but you asking me for the slowest time that we’ve had I have a data sheet with the timings so the slowest time that I can see right now is 34 35 minutes and 9 seconds from Fabio yakobson TI of Pat as well we’re seeing him warm up like he did for the Jalia where he took a stage win on one of the occasions of course as well bit of a harder time trial than he had there but yeah the slowest time I can see right now is Fabio yakobson with 35 minutes and 9 seconds so yeah we have to get out our our calculators here 2 minutes and 44 seconds what’s a quarter of that and then I that on top but Primos rogich we’re also seeing him warming up Simon Yates we’re seeing him here coming towards that second time check of course he’s a man who’s won uh stage in the past in the time trial um in the ground tour uh aspect and has a good time trial on his day but he doesn’t look like he’s having a great total France wasn’t part of any of the the pre- tal France races and uh yeah we’ll wait to see what happens in terms of deeper into this race I would love to see him going for a polka do Jersey uh of course he’s already won the white jersey Ian vanilda here 22 seconds down 2.4 km left compared to Victor campan out we haven’t actually got a poll here so let’s get a pole rolling um yeah Carter pass coming through here let’s look at the top 10 of two riders that are quite similarly matched and then see who you think is going to be faster Rodriguez and Landa there we go who do you think is going to be faster of the Spanish boys uh three Spanish Riders up towards the front of of uh this uh tart as well saying Fabio is not having a good total front yeah he’s not having a good season to be honest who will be faster so there you go do you think land is going to save his legs or do you think he’s going to be given a free free reign to just try and mitigate the damage here uh Rodriguez or Landa so Carlos Rodriguez or Mika Landa who will finish faster that is our binary Pole right now and uh yeah I am going to to go for you would probably think you would probably think Rodriguez because he’s now in the setup of of um inos grenadiers and they’re very TT focused so you would think that any TT weak weaknesses would have been wiped out by now by uh by their guys but yeah we’ll wait and see uh no nobody’s crashed as far as we know and uh it’s uh yeah yeah we’ll wait and see I don’t think anyone’s had any bad problems other than the mechanical uh but great to have 1,200 people here if you want to get involved in our total France competition sorry to anyone who’s already subscribed but please subscribe to the cycling Dan uh action Channel which is our little brother Channel and uh yeah get involved in the community chat to enter that but uh we’ve got some interesting news for all you American friends in the chat Mato jensson is apparently 8 seconds up on Victor camper Arts 8 seconds up um yeah and as when we get to a th000 then I’ll you will not hear me say a single word here but we’re on 582 582 out of uh uh 1,000 I didn’t mean 100 I meant a th000 uh we’re currently over a th000 in the chat so if every single one of you click that link we would be fine but now van is coming towards the finish here 16 seconds outside 20 seconds outside I think it’s going to be a solid top 10 by Vana so good results so far from sudal quickstep but I’m just judging that from Vana so that’s me assuming that Remco Veno is going to do a good one but a good one here from vaner and uh yeah what can he do here what can vanilda do in terms of this race that remains to be seen and Derek G as well what’s his role in this yeah I don’t know uh but yeah d g consistent through the two CH checks the first one 13 seconds the second one 13 seconds as well so yeah mat jensson is he going to be an unlikely candidate to trouble Victor Cut’s time that remains to be seen through the first time check has he gone through it now he’s still not gone through it he’s coming closer now um yeah did anyone else realize that Ben Healey is blonde now of course he used to have a bit of a long longer hair but now he’s blonde and short hair uh yeah it’s like Lego where they changed the the hair of the character and he’s changed his long dark hair out for blonde short hair so uh yeah that that long hair probably added a bit of weight so that’s what he was thinking about but number three number wise is Matel jensson the American who joined this Melissa bike from mistar has had a great season as we said Paris n winner do Podium win d flerin as well and now part of his first tour to France with him uh p b b coming towards the second time check and we said he’s not a bad time trist here he showed that in the UAE tour earlier this year seventh quickest in that second time check here but of course the next part of the course doesn’t really favor belbo so maybe we’ll see him just drop outside the top 10 or be at the lower end of the top 10 like he already is but Primos ragic the Olympic champion the man who has not finished the tour France since 2020 when in a time trial there he lost the biggest goal and rogich the red B Bor hro darling he sets off the pace he has a lot of pressure on his shoulders but of course he was up there in the doofan in the time trial there only being beaten by Remco Veno and Josh tling but ultimately winning that race overall so he’s in good form better form than he was in Paris n and we wait to see what rogl can do on this course can he light it up he’s never won a time trial stage in the Tour of France before he’s won time trial stages in the Jala before he’s won national championships and of course he is the Olympic time trial Champion right now T Pacha is also starting to warm well he’s finished his warm up he’s starting to line up the yellow Jersey is he going to be taking his third time trial stage that remains to be seen in his Tour of France career uh winning the stage in LA B Fe as we said in 2020 winning the one in 2021 as well the flat one and already in this year’s giay he took a stage win there in the time trial beating philipo Gana who would have seen that coming but REM Ceno is certainly standing in his way the man who won the doofan time trial despite being caught up in that crash in the doofan no not in the doofan yeah yeah he was caught up in a crash in aduy so I wasn’t wrong but in that tour of the bass country crash that took out your Wing got and Primos rogl and his recovery has been very good here about 14.7 km to go that is the gap here for Mato Jorgenson what can he do here doing mat well doing this Melissa bike very proud right now 14.6 he’s rolling up this climb like it’s nothing with that Dreadful helmet that we talked about now we’re seeing Juan Yuzu the youngster who is thinking about the white jersey potentially who didn’t really p his turn on the Gali until almea noticed it this guy is very good against the clock and certainly is the next big leader for UA Emirates he’s the the Crown Prince of UA Emirates we’re seeing vazov here as well good time from him the former Russian national champion what can he do here the Red Bull Bor hcor Rider former top five finisher himself former top five in the jir daala very good Rider former top Podium finisher of the lombardia as well winner tour of romedy in the past and Santiago Bago here doing a great time by a Colombian time tring standards here inside the top 15 on the second time check and uh yeah are we going to see any of these GC boys tickling the time of cat Kass um the time looks fairly good right now so I think kopas is certainly on for at least a top three or a top five you would say but but the man here uh vazov and also Matel jensson are two men who are looking to try and just annoy that time mat yinson comes through third fastest here third fastest so he is provisionally quicker than Victor campat right now so that is great to see really uh Egan beral comes through the 10th fastest on that first time check as well so beral doing a good time TR right now uh he’s of course also more of uh Climer the former National time trial Champion for Colombia but vlasov here coming through he’s getting very close to the Ben hey time the Russian riding for Red Bull Bor hansra he’s just outside 8 seconds outside four fastest time there so the times are starting to increase here on the second time check Derek G coming towards the Finish he’s outside the top three top five here but a solid ride by the Israel Premier Tech darling he’s doing his best here to put Canadian cycling on the map once again here like he did in the Jura last year and really is the Pinnacle of Canadian cycling you would say In This Moment 25 seconds down on Victor Cuts not a bad time but now we have it the pride and joy of Danish cycling yores Wingo the two-time defending Toral France Champion the winner of stage 16 yes last year in a magnificent way he comes and roll down rolls down the board can he get one over his Rivals here we waiting and see we don’t know what his form’s like he’s riding into this Toral France but remember this man a few weeks ago he was fighting for his life punctured lung broken ribs broken color bone H just horrendous but Carlos Rodriguez here we didn’t talk much about him we didn’t actually see him start the Spanish uh former road race champion former second place finisher of the total lir placed in last year’s to France and of course taking a stage win and is the Crown Jewel right now of uh of uh inos granders this is their next big star in the making they were hoping that Egan beral was going to be their big star for many many years to come but that accident in Colombia in 2022 unfortunately put a hamper in that but of course we have got him back in the race so that’s all of course good to see but joris vingle is on the course and he’s looking aggressive the way he started we saw that aggressive start uh yesterday well last year not yesterday um and that really put time into tarab gacha early on as well so uh yeah vazov here 8.5 kmers left for the Russian what can he do here many fans of yonis vingo and um Simon Yates coming towards the finish here it’s not going to be inside the top 10 so it’s not a Simon Yates classic here Remco Veno is is the next man to start the world champion you can’t see it he is wearing white but there is no rainbow Stripes um on his jersey he is The Young Riders classification leader in his first ever toural France is he going to win that in his first ever toural France he’s certainly not going to be beating the record of tyacha in that uh Ty Bacha has the all-time winning record of four white jerseys but Remco is pushing the pedals here he knows this is out key opportunity him against the clock a great start from him and his friend Victor campart of course leading the race right now 25 or 24.8 km left he’s just started as we know but Remco Veno that aerodynamic figure that we know Tacho versus rco Veno we haven’t really seen them cross paths in a TT setting they’ve rarely squared off as well there’s only really that terano adriatico in 200 was it 21 where they squared off um or was it 2022 but yeah right now Remco Veno looking as great as ever but there is that danger that these guys are going to be pushing on the limit and yeah we remain to we have to wait and see what happens but right now we are getting the man the myth the legend tacha the modern day cannibal the winner of the jro Talia is coming up to the podium he didn’t just win the Jalia he won it with six stages the blue jersey and a time trial stage that included beating uh none other than filipo Ghana a man that Remco Veno beat for the World Championships Jersey last year um in Glasgow but right now Remco Veno just taking quite easy around the corners but T batcha the man from Kanda he is the next one to start here what can he do is he able to extend his lead on Remco Veno and yoris Bingle is he going to do a revenge for last year’s toor fr destruction that Bingo imposed on him that remains to be seen so many questions but tacha starts and the yellow Jersey races down the the line here and we’ll see what he can do here remember we have got our first time check 9 km into the stage so that is our first point of reference between the Riders but tacha is this going to be his that remains to be seen it’s all still to play for here all still to play for Camp an is still The Benchmark right now campan an is still The Benchmark so uh yeah who will be faster oh there we go mat yenson fans look away look away Mato jensson has lost almost 9 seconds to Ben Healey on that second intermediate time check so you see that Healey did a great ride there hey did an absolutely great ride between second and first uh time checks so yeah who will be the fastest Rider great to have 1500 people in the chat let us know where you’re watching from let us know who you think’s going to win as well it’s all still to play for here on this stage wi Victor campat is in the hot seat but that doesn’t necessarily mean that he’s going to win the stage we know anything can happen as we saw with Stephan Kung Stefan K is the man who uh potentially uh could have won but had that bad mechanical uh yonis vingle is looking very fast very fast now 20 km left for vingle are we going to see a Herculean effort like last year come on vingle you need this you need this with that horrendously looking helmet like we’ve already voted as the ugliest TT helmet tacha here 1 minute and well two minutes into his ride here what can he do here what can he do tatcha taking the corners very like very close to the barriers he knows that every single second will count he’s up against the world time trial Champion up against the two-time defending toward the France Champion it’s all still to play for here that first time check is going to give us a very good Insight here oh we going to see go towards tacha is it going to be Remco Veno or are we going to see yeah um camps the unlikely still uh leader but we saw po b b finished there pill B B aiming for that top 10 once again apologies talking uh has just produced my body to slow up a bit there but Remco Veno is already 18 seconds up on Victor cat’s time right now in real time that’s what they’re saying so campat is already losing grounds on Remco Veno Remco the most aerodynamic rider in the Pelon you have to say and it’s all still to play for it’s all still to play for let us know where you’re watching from as well with a flag don’t say your country but give us your country’s flag that funny game that we’ve been playing quite a lot but yeah yonis Bingo looking very slick here as well very slippery and that’s what you want to be when you’re a time trialist when you’re in a time trial come on yores you can do this yores Bingo the pride and joy of Denmark right now two torto Frances in a row he’s never finished lower than second place in a torto France and he’s only done three of them but similarly his rival taracha has never finished below second either these two great juggernauts might be threatened a bit by Remco Veno this new unknown quantity the former welta Spano winner the world champion on the road in 2022 and in 2023 in the time trial here Remco Veno should he have gone to the Toral France last year after the withdrawal from the jured higher many people people believe so including myself but we’ll wait and see here oh Remco come on take your win I kind of want Remco vpol to win but in our comment section or in our poll o it shifted towards Remco now so you guys think it’s going to be Remco it’s a very close poll to get involved it’s 39% to Remco it’s 38% to Tad so it’s a very very close poll we have um yeah Sean reminding me as well it’s not just about these two guys we also have the top five currently as it stands the top five hasn’t changed since we last spoke about it Victor campat still leading kman VLAN still 0.76 seconds yes less than a second behind and Ben Healey in third place seven and a half seconds behind Victor cuts and then we have the duo Stephan K and Stefan Binger in fourth and fifth respectively of course Stephan K have had that bad mechanical remur vle is doing a great effort here 19.3 km to go that first Benchmark is what we’re all looking towards and the man who’s making his way to the second Benchmark and J almea J Almeida is outside the time of Ben hey here outside the time of Ben Hy for joala sixth fastest on that second time check 10 seconds down 10 seconds down on Ben Healey so uh yeah 10 seconds down but Ty Bacha here he’s racing towards the Finish well not really 20.4 km separates the yellow Jersey wearer and it’s saying he’s 23 seconds up on Victor campen out here the man who’s already won two stages like we said in a time trial oh this is going to be very close isn’t it get between Remco Veno and Tachi much like our pole is as well gon Matan is coming towards the finish the former top 10 finisher of the Toral France but no 2 minutes and 21 seconds is looking like it’s not going to be his day here today is it going to be his toal France probably not and uh yeah it’s all still to play for for the stage win these big galacticos we say six Riders are known as the galacticos of the sport three of them are drling or four of them are dling it out for the stage win today T gacha yonis vingo Primus rogich and Remco Veno blov is coming towards the finish here the hopeful Lieutenant of Primos rogl fifth fastest 12 seconds down 12 seconds down there and uh yeah what’s going to happen in today stage that is what we’re all waiting to see great to have so many of our channel members here SAR makes herself known as well we’ve got uh Vera and we’ve of course also got teart and Patty I think we saw as well we’re getting a message here push it push it only thing you have to do is push it for V and go uh but yeah I’m pretty sure he knows that would you find these messages annoying I think I would find some of them a bit annoying I only want the information you don’t need to say push it if Ty pach is in problems tell me if Ty Pat is doing at fast time tell me but I don’t know hearing push it would maybe you would find that frustrating maybe it works who knows but Remco inol doing his best here 17 km to go here on that beautiful beautiful s Works TT bike and in that beautiful color as well color scheme of the rainbow jersey that first time check is going to be our first Benchmark here but these GC favorites are absolutely taking a huge chunk out of the Victor campart lead if we can believe what we’re seeing in front of our very eyes I think we can but these guys are some of the best specialists in the time trial discipline of course it’s not just their P climbers anymore we’ve kind of changed a bit so the first time check apparently had Remco venol through it he was 10 seconds quicker 10 seconds quicker that’s what we’re getting 10 seconds quicker for yoris wingle through the first time check so yoris wingle has the first time check he puts the mantle down or The Benchmark down for the other GC guys uh RIT was n 10 seconds down on Bingo’s time as well so the first time check you can see we have vingal vingal is the fastest as of right now so we wait for Reno Reno is the new fastest time 10 seconds quicker than yores vingle 10 seconds quicker than yonis vingle who put 10 seconds into rogich so that means remu put 20 seconds into the Olympic champion that is remarkable wow now I’m glad we didn’t include uh RL in our poll but T pater 40% of you believing it’s his for the taking today and 38% of you it’s very close this very very close great to have 1500 people in the chat and if you haven’t already make sure to hit the like button subscribe to the cycling Dane here and head over to the cycling Dane extra Channel or action Channel our little brother channel to uh subscribe there and help us get a th000 subscribers and into the Tor France competition we have there for lovely giveaways for some cycling caps but one of them signed by Vincent and Carlos Rodriguez coming through the second time check here 24 seconds down on the Ben Healey time but of course it’s going to be crazy now crazy with Remco Veno with all of them coming through now this is going to be diabolical the time differences we’re going to be seeing between the top GC guys and the lower echelons of the GC this is going to be remarkable stuff seeing in front of our very eyes right now Ty Bacha is our next bench bench marker that we’re looking for the last one apparently he’s come through apparently he’s come through so if I refresh the if I refresh the page on procycling starts CU they have a better updated time than our stream uh we’re going to see the time we’re going to see the time oh we have the fastest time as well for Mato jensson through the third time check so Mato jensson third time check fastest time tcha I don’t have the time yet um yeah Pacha 3 seconds down there we go pagat 3 seconds down Pacha 3 seconds down on Remco Edo of course there’s a mighty margin between them and uh Remco and Tad Bacha in terms of the GC Mato jensson coming in towards the finish line now and it looks like he’s gonna be outside outside by 1.85 seconds from the quickest time so Victor Cuts yeah breathes a sigh of relief there rage comes over and does the fastest time on the second time check but uh that’s probably not going to be living for much longer if we’re going to follow the trend of the first the first time check that we saw uh Remco Veno versus T gacha that’s looking like our battle for the victory right now yonas Wingo 8 seconds down in that first time check to to T gcha but yeah the Riders are going to be coming thick and fast now over the Finishing Line it’s going to be very fast now 14 km to go here for Remco venol 14 km to go that’s all that is left 14 km oh this is going to be tight this is going to be very tight no mistakes are allowed between Remco and tacha wow this is going to be incredible um yeah what are we going to see here what are we going to see the yellow Jersey we know the yellow Jersey gives you wings tacha hadn’t won that Jersey since 2022 and here he is maybe on the CP of winning another stage in that yellow Jersey well he hasn’t wait won a stage in that so far because he took the Jersey from Richard cater pass on the Gia stage and we wait to see what’s going to happen here tatcha is doing a phenomenal effort here 14.6 km he’s already slayed one former world time trial champion this year in the form of filipo Ghana can he slay another one in the form of the current one that remains to be seen but it’s all still to play for here between these two J
