It doesn’t seem long ago since we last visited Anglia Car Auctions and now we are back for their April classic sale! This is a weekend long auction that I always look forward to, as you never know what vehicles you might find here. I am partial to a ford or two, so you’ll find me looking around many of them but also lots of other makes a models of classics feature in the video too.

One of my favourite classics was the Mk1 Ford Fiesta 1.1 S as there are only 10 left on the road in the UK and this one was a clean example. I also really liked the look of the Mk4 fiesta van, as I knew the previous owner and was keen to see what it sol for. Also it is worth noting that 87% of the lots sold at this weekend long auction.

[Music] what’s going on guys welcome back to another video we up here at Anglia car auctions in Kings Lin for their April Classic Car Sale now we were only here back in January and between that time they’ve gathered over 250 classic cars to go under the hammer this weekend as you can see from around me there is plenty of lots to look around let’s see what we can find and see what they go for they go under the hammer right let’s kick this auction off with this 1981 Mark 1 Ford Fiesta take a look at that now I’m going to describe this as a bit rough and ready now when I say Rough and Ready it’s because pretty much every panel on this has got an imperfection or a dent in as we can see along the bottom of this window on the rear quarter it’s all starting to rust up but it is tax mot exempts it’s registered as a historic vehicle it’s a shame really because the description doesn’t have too much details on it it’s got 67,000 Mi I’m not quite sure if that is warranted or not as you can see quite a lot of wear to that driver’s seat under the Bonnet is the same story I think it needs a bit of welding in a few patches but it must start and drive because it’s here and it’s in the section of Runners so yeah this will be driving through the auction it’s great to look around and Mark one Fiesta as our first lot here at Anglia car auctions now I will say even though this is tax andot exempt it’s very important that you keep within the laws and aren’t driving a unsafe vehicle anyway here at Anglia car auctions it’s offered as a no Reserve so I’m really interested to see what this little Mark on Fiesta sells for y That’s 700 8 800 9 900 1000 11 11 12 60 next up we’re going to be looking around this 1993 Ford p00 which has been imported from Europe now it came to the UK in 2016 and was registered as a UK car back then here’s a little glance Into the p100s Now this has come from Europe so probably a slightly warmer climate than the UK it’s nice to see that that Dash isn’t cracked and obviously it is a leand drive I tell you what I am loving about this p100 is this fiberglass sort of contraption on the back it’s also got these windows in it making it look really nice as you can see it’s also got the Pressed Ford logo stamped into the tailgate which is one feature I love about these p100s obviously you can open it up still and take a look inside the back which looks to be in really really great condition I’ve just lifted the Bonnet to reveal the 2 L Pinto that is fitted into the Sierra now it is showing that this has only covered 11,000 km but I’m pretty sure that is not going to be warranted I think it’s probably 111,000 km the p100 is on the road and is oted until November of this year and the estimate here at Anglia car auctions this weekend is 5 to [Applause] 7,000 I know this might not be the most interesting vehicle to look around but this 1996 Volvo 960 24 valve has covered over 600,000 m i mean when you talk about high mileage Heroes this certainly is one and I tell you what inside of this barge look at this seats considering that it’s done 600,000 miles that is showing hardly nowhere at all on the driver’s seat that’s crazy now the clocks are actually showing 182,000 miles but they have been changed the vendor has stated that this has definitely covered way over 600,000 miles which is just quite unbelievable really I’ve certainly never put close to that mileage on a vehicle and when you look at the exterior it just looks so clean now I believe this is a 6-cylinder 3 l 24 valve engine and yeah look at that looks like a great old lump done over 600,000 miles I’ll keep banging on about that but that just seems quite unbelievable really anyway we’ll move on for an evolvo it’s gotot until March next year so a four year ticket and it’s only estimated at2 to 3,000 the 11 12 13 1 14 14 14 that’s 1600 worth a b more that’s 17 that’s 17 17 in the 17 twice any any issue 17 internet okay I’m looking around this really quirky vehicle this is a 1991 Nissan s cargo Auto now I know where there is one of these it’s parked up in Barnet and it’s got delboy and Rodney in the front seats just two little masks offering that as a proper quirky little motor and also a great advertisement for a business I’ll tell you what comment to the auctions is great you get to look around all different Vehicles you would never have the opportunity to now this is such a quirky little thing as you can see it is a van and it does have a sunroof loving that now the vendor States it they have spent a considerable amount of money over £1,000 to get this on the road and back driving again is showing 101,000 km so I assume it has been imported into the UK at some point in life just spotted this sticker on the side I’m assuming that’s come from Japan possibly you guys will have to let me know and the best thing about this is you can drive this home this weekend it has got valid mot until February next year anyway the estimate on this quirky little Nissan is2 to 3,000 here you go the little quirky Nissan van has started they had a little bit of trouble starting that but there’s so many people here Anglia car auctions get these running through the auction 180000 tce third final time still T when was the last time you saw one of these on the road this is a 1994 Mark free Golf VR6 I tell you what there can’t be many of these left knocking around in this good condition as well the first thing that strikes me is them stunning BBS Alloys now this example is showing 105,000 M it’s on the road and it’sot until October of this year tell you what the interior is in great condition comes with a sunroof as well one thing I am loving is these striking red floor mats but the one downside just for me person ly that is a automatic so yeah but I’m sure that can be changed to a manual if you like and here is the 2.8 6-cylinder engine I’ve never driven one of these personally but I bet it goes like absolute stink looking around the engine bay seems to be in great condition there’s a little bit of water or where excess coolant is spilled underneath the expansion tank down there but overall doesn’t seem to be in bad condition at all and look around this VR6 it seems to be in great condition all of the paintwork looks nice and clean with hardly any blemishes in it now the vend the states it’s recently had new tires a service and quite a bit of money spent on it now the estimate here at Anglia car auctions is 2 and a half to3 and 12,000 19 19 in 1900 in the room 1900 to what 21 21 22 22 22 23 23 next up a stumbled across his 1989 Ford Escort it’s a markv 1.3 l and is finished in tasmin blue with just three previous Keepers this Ford Escort Is Still rocking its original dealer number plates which is all always great to see as you take a look inside of the escort it is covered a genuine 23,000 Mi now we’ve had a high mileage hero how about a low mileage hero that is crazy now the seat condition does reflect that great low mileage because there is no wear on the bolsters at all now the only gutting thing and slightly disappointing thing with this escort is it has run out of MOT it ran out last October so you won’t be driving this one home from the auction and there is the Diddy little 1.3 engine and I’ve got to say the condition of the bay is very good hardly no visible rust and it’s actually quite nice to see one of these in its original condition hasn’t been turned into something that isn’t one thing I have just noticed is the fact that the door handles are colorcoded don’t think they would have come like that from Factory surely the door locks would have been done in the same color as well and also the wing mirrors they are body color as well but I think it quite suits it anyway the little markv escort is estimated 4 to 6,000 this [Music] weekend [Music] 199 1.3 first 1989 at 29 i b at 29 don’t leave it till the last minute at 29 3,000 what it’s a £2,900 is very provision on this sort of money but I’ll submit very 2009 very now we’re going to be taking a look around this 1993 Volvo 480 es I’ll be completely honest with you guys I haven’t looked around one of these before but that is the beauty of coming to these auctions because we can it’s showing 83,000 Mi I’m not quite sure whether that is warranted or not loving the sunroof now the seats these have taken a batter and haven’t they they’re sort of half lever half cloth but the the lever is really really starting to crack up I’m sure someone can get them restored now we take a look inside of the back the seats fold flat down so you’ve actually got a surprisingly good boot space once the back seats have been folded down in this little hatchback and here is the 2 L Volvo engine obviously most of these engines would usually be rear wheel drive but but this is front wheeel drive and one thing I am going to be loving is these pop-up headlights I reckon that’s going to look really cool when it flies through the auction house very soon I’m sure someone will be putting the headlights on for sure the Bodywork on a 480 is in fair condition could do with a good detail up and a bit of paint in some areas but yeah it’s not too bad it’s even got a toe bar look at that it’s kind of giv me Honda vibes from the rear I’m not quite sure why but it just is anyway this is offered as a no Reserve 600 600 700 700 700 70050 750 750 is twice your out right at 750 yours at 750 sorry I’ve just stumbled across the first mini of the sale this is a later one a 19 98 Rover Mini Cooper I got to say from the off I’m loving it the color and everything and it’s even got the Union Jack on the roof you can’t go wrong with that the vendor describes the mini to be driving okay and has had some work done a few years ago with a uated engine producing 98 brake horsepower what a little beast and I am loving that dual Central exhaust exit as you take a look inside of the mini it’s had a couple of upgrades including the handles and that on the door cards but also these really nice looking bucket seats they sort of retro leather bucket seats but also the best thing is they’ve also tied it in with the rear seats they’ve got exactly the same red piping on them I think that is great the only thing I would change in here is that wooden Dash I just don’t really think it ties in very well with the theme of the mini but that’s just me personally my opinion I’m not too sure what size engine this is because it just say it’s upgraded and I’m not completely clued up with the mini engines one thing I’m loving though is these four spotlights on the front of the mini it’s definitely had some touches added to it including these wheels as well I’m not quite sure if they’re mini light wheels or whatever but they are pretty deep I’d say they’ve got to be about I don’t know 7j wide something like that but the real overall look of it I’m loving now back in 2006 a mini was involved in an accident which it was a category C right off it was severely damaged but repairable so yeah someone has repaired it and it’s now offered at Anglia Co auctions for 3 and 1/2 to [Music] [Music] 42,000 246 there 5 51 51 at 52 5455 that’s 5,500 now at 55 that’s 58 that’s 5,800 you won’t RIT at £ 5,800 on selling out right out door it goes at £ [Music] 5,900 500 59 thank you you never guess what I’ve just stumbled across this 19 998 Ford Fiesta 35 van now I actually own one of these as well these are getting very very rare to finds everyone used to have them back in the day but now they are quite rare I think there’s well it’s in double digits how many are left yeah there’s not many left on the road and it’s great to see one today at the auction now the fiesta van has covered 56,000 Mi it’s finished in this like grayy blue color it’s all complete and all in here now the vendor purchases this car just a couple of years ago and it was off the road for around four years they’ve done lots of work on it including a c Bel and loads of other bits and Bobs and just got it mots with no advisories the fiesta van is now on the road and it’s moted until December of this year so you got quite a long ticket on that now the only thing I can pick up Bodywork wise is that the rear arches are slightly scabby but really really nothing bad at all these Fords rust like anything and this is a real good presentable example here is the trusty Ford 1.8 Endura de engine as you can see the engine bay looks nice and clean the vendor has done a lot of recent work on this so yeah it’s good to see that it’s in Nice condition it’s a little bit of a sore subject with mine because mine currently doesn’t run so uh yeah this one does and you can drive it home from the auction this weekend it’s worth noting that it does come with these Alloys which off a for Fiesta but it does also have the original steals in the back of the van which is always great to get with a sale it’s even got eely number plate so not too far from kingslin pretty local van I can only assume now I just love seeing these Vans I think they’re up and coming they’re not worth too much I picked mine up for 700 quid this one has got an estimation of 2 to 25,000 but I think it’s worth it find another that’s what they always say find another and I don’t think you’ll be able to find one this clean the markv fiesta van is now up and running it’s in the queue I’ve had a little chat to the previous owner of this cuz I did know him it was his dad’s motor and he sold it for £1,800 not long ago so I’m really really interested to see what it sells for I don’t know is he going to make two grand let’s wait and [Music] see 1998 only 50 6,000 M sh 1, 1100 1100 1100 1100 last time 1100 that’s provision inter see we can do now were these both put here on purpose I don’t know but here we have the hot hatch contenders a mark 2 Golf GTI or a mark 2 Fiesta xr2 I’m going to be looking around both of these but it’s quite cool that they both been put next to each other at the auction right so first of all we’re going to look around this 1988 VW Golf 1.8 GTI this was owned by Father and Son since 1997 and it’s only had two prior Keepers before them the mileage on the golf GTR is 89,000 MI which is believed to be warranted and backed up by the past mots one thing I love about these golfs is The Tartan seats I just think they’re really really nice and I also love the boxy Dash look at that it just looks proper retro and very similar to the fiesta actually I’ve just lifted the Bonnet and quite surprised at the condition under here it looks nice and reasonable no massive signs of rust to worry about or anything like that here is the 1.8 engine that is fitted to the Golf GTI the paintwork on the golf isn’t terrible but I’d say it’s in fair condition it’s had a few dodgy repairs in the past and a few things in some of the pan pannels overall not too bad that’s moted until November of this year so it’s on the road you can drive at home and the estimate is 3 and2 to 42,000 there is the Vol GTI at 23 where are we 24 24 at 2 24 25 25 at 25 Shing his head in the r at 2526 G up to 3,100 provisional [Music] 31 and now we’re moving on to the Ford from the80s this is the 1987 Ford Fiesta xr2 which is finished in Mercury gray so unlike the golf you can’t drive this one home today unfortunately it’s covered 130,000 Mi and I’ve got to say having a smell in here it doesn’t smell very nice you know we just get into a bit of a Musky car doesn’t smell too nice I don’t think it’s been used in a while it hasn’t had mot since 2015 as we take a look under the Bonnet here is the 1.6 CVH engine now the inner Wings normally go on these fiestas but this one looks nice and solid probably been repaired before cuz there’s a bit of body sealant over there which has been crudely applied but on this side as well it is not too bad at all looks like the wings have been replaced on the fiesta but these do Rust like anything especially with the body kit on the XR toes it just traps water in there and they just rust away like anything now description states that the xr2 was dry stored so not quite sure how much rust would be hiding underneath these plastic arches and all of the body kit but yeah this is literally a trap for the water on the xr2 but I mean overall it doesn’t seem in too bad condition I think that the estimate definitely reflects that too now the estimate on the Ford xr2 is 6 to 8,000 now I think that is reasonable considering it’s been off the road for nearly 10 years it needs some recommissioning obviously but in good condition these fetch up to 156,000 so yeah wait and see what that goes for 4748 up in 495 at 551 51 it is now going twice it is provisional this sort of money at £ 5,100 last [Music] time I know it’s not classic but we’re going to be looking around this 2003 Ford Street Ka or Street c however you want to pronounce it now this is the street Ka luxury because it has got these leather seats they are also heated it’s got electric windows and it’s got air conditioning a little speced up motor now the best thing about this is It’s only covered 20,000 Mi and that is warranted I’ve just opened the Bonnet to revealed a 1.6 durch engine now this is barely covered no miles hopefully it’s been serviced quite regularly as well the Ford Street Ka is moted until January of next year so it’s nearly got a 12- Monon ticket on it well 10- Monon ticket and the best thing about it is it had no advisories when it was last oted it also still has matching dealership plates from a dealership in Norfolk as well which is great to see and the reason I’m looking around this is one because it’s a no Reserve car and two because it’s such low mileage I just don’t think you’d find one this low mileage in this great condition anymore I don’t know how many are left on the road but it’ be great to know anyway it’s a no Reserve so let’s find out what that sales for7 no Reserve it’s on sale 1800 1800 up you in the room 1900 1900 2,000 2 21 22 Now 23 now don’t W it up 23 4 at 26 2 thank you okay so I’ve just come across the non-runner section here at Anglia car auctions there’s not too many non-runners this time but I’ve stumbled across this 1988 Bedford Astra Van that’s only had one owner from new I think this is proper Co and very very rare when was the last time you saw one of these on the road now the last mot for this Astra Van was back in in 2012 and it recorded 99,000 Mi as you can see it has not been used for quite a long time it’s very messy moldy and a bit horrible up the front here but I tell you what guys I need to show you in the back of this Astra Van let’s pop the boot open and look in here this is just amazing look how clean the floor is it is even shiny to be honest what I think has happened I think before the sale there must have been a carpet in the back here and they’ve just bended that because this just looks like it has never been touched the metal is so clean same with the sides to be honest the sides of Vans constantly get dings and dents in them from people chucking stuff in the back of them but this is straight as anything now I come to these auctions as an unbiased viewer I just say what I see and I really do think this has got to be worth saving the paintwork is all faded but that will need a machine polish and that’ll be shiny again there is a a few bits of rust on it but there really isn’t a lot it’s not like an old Ford where the seals are hanging out of it and the front arches are just Millards well it looks to be a good van now don’t get me wrong it’s going to need a bit of work possibly a little bit of welding as well but I really do think someone can get this back on the road the engine is just voxel’s 1.6 overhead cam it’s all there and complete nothing’s been stripped off it or removed as you can see look at the quality of that metal it is just brilliant there’s no massive rust holes there’s not a lot to worry about under here and it does actually run and drive I’ll have to do a little bit of a search on how many left of these Astra Vans but I really don’t think there can be many anyway here this weekend at Anglia car auctions it’s offered as a no Reserve 14 14 1500 on the 15 on the 1600 twice any further interested che where I stand your how about this for a pair of classic Fords we’ve got an RS 2000s and we’ve also got Sierra Sapphire RS we’re going to be looking around both of these next this is a 1980 Ford Escort rs2000 custom and I’ve got to say from the off this is looking in great condition let’s take a look inside of the RS 2000s loving the interior that chocolate brown color door cards and the seats with the fishnet headrests you’ve got to love them now this has covered 126,000 miles that it last had aot back in 2023 but it is now tax andot exempt one thing I’ve always loved about these RS 2000s is the steering wheels the frees spoke wheels very nice and also the tiny little RS badge in the middle that just adds such a nice little touch to them cool clocks and dials now here is the engine bay it said that the RS 2000 has been completely restored and there’s paperwork and photo evidence to come with the sale of the car as you can see it’s looking in good condition under here I wouldn’t say it’s completely Immaculate but it’s all there it’s running and driving as a vendor States so yeah it’s even got the bubble um sort of protector on it still they’re quite hard to find these days taking an overall look around the RS 2000s it is in great condition it’s not a Mina but it is a really really good EXP example now the estimate at Anglia car auctions is25 to 28,000 17,000 17,000 17,000 25 22 22 22,000 this a slow burner but the RS 2000 is getting there the 23 £50 with there it is provisional £23,250 this is the last time with you sir number and now we move on to the 1991 Ford Sierra Sapphire RS Cosworth now this is believed to only have 54,000 M and that is genuine so pretty impressive with just four previous Keepers this Sierra Sapphire Cosworth is looking in real good condition condition and a nice little bonus that comes with a s is it’s moted until March 2025 so it’s basically got a 12- Monon ticket on it some roofs seem to always attract rust but this one is completely free there’s no bubbling or any corrosion on the roof at all and that is the same story with the rest of the body work on the Sierra RS Cosworth if you just take a little browse around it now it is in really really good condition just like the RS 2000 we just looked around now it’s quite an interesting estimate on this one again it’s 25 to 28,000 so both the RS 2000s and the Sierra Sapphire Cosworth are estimated the same amount of money please do let me know which one you’d prefer 22 number 2 and 1/2 the 22 1/2 hour 23 the 24 2,250 a 2,250 r a 26750 right 650 thank now we’re looking around at 1989 Austin mini 30 now this was a celebration of the 30th birthday of the mini they had a limited run of 3,000 cars 2,000 of which were in cherry red and a thousand of which were in pearlescent black and and this is the pearlescent black example the mini 30s came with these sport style mini light Alloys and they also came with a half leather interior as you can see from these seats here this example is showing 27,000 Mi I’m not quite sure if that is warranted or not but it’s in great condition they also came with these really cool limited edition 30 Badges and all the cars had two coats of clear lacer they are generally regarded as one of the best limited edition minis the additions continue under the Bonnet with some Servo assisted brakes yeah this is a really really clean example the mini 30 is oted until March 2025 so four years ticket on it and it is a no Reserve this weekend at Anglia car auctions so let’s find out what that’s going to go [Music] for 7 anyway at 6,9 697 7 7 100 I’ve got to put it out there now this is my favorite car of the auction over this whole weekend this is a 1983 Mark 1 Ford Fiesta now this is the 1.1 s a very very rare car now in 2024 this is just one of 10 examples left on the road in the UK now here is the engine bay to the 1.1 S as you can see there is the 1.1 engine looking in great condition now the only thing I’ve got to pick up on this engine bay is these corners on the Mark 1 and Mark 2 festers they always go someone’s clearly repaired both sides but they’ve just slapped a load of seam sealer on the top which is just a bit gutting because if they had just done it a little bit neater it would have been nicer to look at and just more presentable but instead they’ just welded it up slapped on some sealer and left it like that I mean I’m being quite picky because it is a very clean car but as you can see on the other side the same thing has happened I do love the sunroof and all around that the condition of the metal is in great condition I tell you what else I love is the tarten seats these are just completely up my street comes with the original waffle mat still now they are worth a fortune now the only downside in here is the dash is cracked quite a lot as you can see but as I say I’m not I’m not trying not to nitpick but I’m just picking out the slight faults with it the Little Fiesta comes with a long mot it is until November of this year and as from April of this year it’s going to be tax andot exempt which is always good now the estimate on this this weekend is £8 to 10,000 Fe that’s a reasonable price for such a rare car now I mean this is definitely rarer than the Mark 1 xr2 so we’ll find out what it goes for that’s 6,600 on B 67,000 that’s 7,000 B now looking for two quick anywh 7,000 here 73 that’s 73 74 that’s £ 7,400 75 76 that’s 7,6 bision G that’s 7,800 78 [Music] that’s next we’ve got a pair this is a 1999 Honda cific vti s Jordan and a 1999 Honda CB 600 Hornet now these were a Honda promotion in 1999 in association with the Jordan Grand Prix team who had then won five F1 world’s drivers championships and six Constructor championships with only 500 cars and 50 bikes produced in sunlight yellow both Car and Bike have the same plaque with the Eddie Jordan signature inscripted and the number 249 it’s great to see a pair being sold here this weekend at angli auctions now the vendor has owned both of these from new and hence he’s selling them together the car has had a life it has covered 159,000 Mi and the bike has covered just over 1,000 miles they were both serviced back in 2023 and and they are moted until May of this year so not long until they both need anot again they’re great to see them for sale here at Anglia Cs and the estimate on both of them they come as a pair is £8 to [Music] 10,000 5 6 6 6 62 62 64 8100 s the pair for 81002 82 82 82 now 83 £8500 so away twice last time sold ,500 up next I’ve come across another little restoration area this is a 1976 datson 100 a l cherry and next to it we have got a 1975 datson 100a estate two very similar cars but they are slightly different now we’re going to start with the Cherry this has been off the road since 1987 it had only been on the road for around about 10 years before it had been stored and pretty much parked up locked and someone must have thrown away the keys cuz it’s only covered 6,000 Mi that’s just crazy and it must have been kept somewhere that was pretty dry because the interior in this looks in brilliant condition doesn’t even look like there’s any wear to the dash or the seats or the door cards there’s no cobwebs or anything must have just been all the doors closed and left for many years it certainly is very cool to see I just don’t know where these cars are found cuz there seems to be so many that keep popping up it is crazy it’s just like they’ve forgotten about and then all of a sudden they just appear again now this one is estimated 35,000 we’ll soon find out what that goes for 41 42 42 42 4,243 53 54 straight back again like get £ 5400 a second B quick coming 5400 Old 54 it’s a similar sort of story with the 1975 dson estate this has been approximately stored for 35 years this one looks slightly more worse off I’m not quite sure if they come or were found as a pair or whether they were found at separate locations but yeah this one looks slightly worse off but still in reasonable condition unlike the Cherry we were looking around this one has been used it’s got 57,000 Mi on the clocks and it doesn’t have a front screen so the interior has been open to the elements or well even if it was in the garage it still opens some sort of elements and the interior isn’t as clean as you have one but still fairly presentable considering it’s been stored for so many years there’s no v5c that comes with the datson estate so that will need to be applied for now this one hasn’t got an estimate because it’s a no Reserve I wonder what that go for 950,000 1000500 maage going twice a 16 you’re quite sure so now moving on to the last classic in this smaller restoration section here we have a 1974 Ford Escort 1300e I think this car holds a record for the longest restoration this restoration was started back in the 1990s and never finished as you can see it is half complete there is parts missing but there is lots of parts that do come with the Mark 1 escort as you can see down here we’ve got various panels we’ve got a pair of Mexico front doors uh We’ve also got like loads of glass the back seats also got what looks like a brake Servo Tower got some struts loads of bits and bubs and spare parts it will need a bit more welding because there is some metal still missing but the original engine is still in there the 1300 cross low engine that’s going to need a bit of attention and work it looks like it’s been sitting there for a while as you can tell the mark1 escort is going to need a lot more restoration still he’s had some welding work on his driver’s door but he still missing the skin from the outside looks like it comes with the original vinyl roof which is great to see I love this color and what else I love is the fact that it’s a no Reserve there’s no telling what this is going to go for I’m really interested in the room 52 that 52 £5500 it took you out 55 5 5 only 5 57 500 tce that’s so I couldn’t walk past this without recording it here we have a 1989 Ford Escort xr3i this xr3i was recently dry stored for a couple of years and brought back out in September 2023 where it had some new parts a service and a fresh mot put on it is valid until December of this year some of the new parts included a radiator thermostat hoses cam lifters slf followers headlights and rear exhaust section under here we have a 1.6 CVH which is fuel injected and I’ve got to say this has got to be one of the most genuine and honest engine Bays I’ve looked around all day it just looks mint there’s no rust or rot to worry about the vendor describes the xr3 I to be not Concourse but a good show car and I would completely agree it looks like a brilliant classic there is a couple of bits of paint that I’ve spotted just around this Scuttle just starting to lift where it’s had previous paint work and around the window in a couple of areas but to be honest you can just get in this and enjoy it it’s a real genuine nice classic the escort xr3i has 97,000 Mi on the clocks and it’s estimated this weekend the angle car auctions 7 to [Music] 99,000 right we’ve come across another commercial vehicle in this 1988 Renault extra 1.4 van and I think this this is a really cool little van as you take a look inside of the Renault extra van it’s said that the first owner owns this for 26 years and it’s been well cared for and looked after and overall it is in good condition the mileage recorded on the van is 147,000 now it’s on the road you can drive it home it’s motd until October of this year I’ve just been admiring it because the panels on the back are so straight the only damage I found is this naughty little d at the rear quarter but yeah that can be fixed it’s just the only bit that lets the body work down really as we take a look into the back of the van you can see it’s got wooden boards either side and it’s also got this little bit of Rack in so I think that has protected them very thin pieces of metal uh from being dented and dinged just like other Vans get there’s a few spares that come with the van including a full set of Steels a h manual a clutch cable and a few other bits and Bobs under the Bonnet we’ve got a 1.4 engine now I’m just really really loving this vanan proper retro and I think it would make a really good advertisement for someone’s business being in this bright blue color as well I think that look brilliant with some sign writing on it and a cheap and cheerful estimate for this one at just 2 and 1/2 to £32,000 23 four minut 2 four the B that’s 24 25 26 26 only 26 27 29 last now back in 1986 this Ford Escort estate was supplied by grace of Guilford and since then it has covered just shy of 7,000 mil how crazy is that such low mileage you just wonder when in Earth these vehicles have been hiding I always love seeing the original dealer stickers on the back windows now this escort was with the first owner up until 2008 then it had the second owner for just 6 months and then the third owner and the vendor has owned this escort State since 2008 up until 2018 it was part of a collection and it was off the road but back in 2018 there was mots and it’s now on the road the escort has got valid mot until July of this year now it’s described to have all original panels and paint there’s a couple of little D around it but overall it is pretty mint now the escort has got the 1.6 CVH engine and it is a automatic down there is the automatic gearbox it’s just really good to look around one of these escorts knowing that it hasn’t been tarted up it hasn’t got loads of filler hasn’t had to paint work just look how mint that boot floor is it’s always good to see another low mileage Survivor now this is estimated Just5 to 7,000 the old escort State doesn’t seem to be running too well car 32 34 36 36 38 38 53 that’s a that way once twice any interested 5 53 what mental weekend that was upper angular car auctions it was so good and I really enjoyed the full weekend as we usually do anyway now I just wanted to cover a couple of bits and Bobs so the fees at Anglia car auctions on all the classic cars are 8% plus V8 now do remember if it is a provisional Hammer price this is subject to change and then they add the fees on top afterwards so if you see a provisional price that might not be the final Hammer price figure now one thing I always do is sh shout out the staff at Anglia Co auctions they are so good from the guys that get all the vehicles running from the auctioneers the people who work in the calf the office staff they are all brilliant and they make the auction run like clockwork it is so good and yeah it just makes a weekend flow that much bit better and they always try and get all of the vehicles running through which is a very rare sight at a classic car auction in 2024 also especially at this sale it was really good to meet some subscribers now I usually have a couple of people come up to me and say hello I’ll watch the videos but there was so many of you guys this time uper angli Co auctions
