North Macedonia was the 30th country I visited on my round the world tour. From my experience, this county is a land of churches and monasteries which are located in places with wonderful views, making them very special.
Ivan from Skopje looked after me for nearly my whole stay there so this video is also about the start of our friendship.

In April 2017 I left Australia for a solo trip around the world on a BMW F800GS. I named it “Are We There Yet” because I don’t know my final destination or the duration of this journey.

What a pity you didn't travel further south. There's a Pompeii-like city near Gradsko I visited in 2011 on a trip to WW1 battlefields around Doiran.

Macedonia is awesome, this video is awesome- bravo! Need to say though, you shouldn't ride motorcycles through the square, its disrespectful and illegal. Please follow the rules and obey the law. Safe ride 🙂

Of course you can ride your Motorcycle 🏍️ through the main square. This is what I love about Macedonia (Balkans), it is so CHILL! I think we have too many hangups in the West.
