Just came back from test driving a Madone SL 7 Gen 8 from my local Trek Store. This thing is AMAZING. It looks much better in person than in photos. It feels super confortable. It comes with tubeless tires and it takes up to 32 mm tires. The Dark Star color is sick. They were also assembling a SLR 7 Gen 8 in black. BTW, the SLR 7 Gen 8 comes with the aero bottles and aero carbon cages included in the price. Also comes with the new RSL tires. During my short test drive I felt it was very confortable, like my Domane SL 7 Gen 4. Now going back home and put for sale my 2023 Trek Supercaliber 9.8 XT 🙂

Why would you sell your XC bike for a race bike? lol

I also love how you had to specify it was a 9.8 XT and not a 9.7 GX 😂 I’m fking dead 💀.

Also want to add “as comfortable as my domane 7 gen 4”, meat riding a little too hard lmaooo. Carmen is that you?

    Colour does look sick ngl

Wait…are my eyes lying to me? Is Trek going back to tiny (i.e. “reasonably sized”) logos on the downtube?!?

u/BrotherMichigan remember how confident you were that this bike wasn’t a Madone and told everyone you were right? Good times.

    Interesting also that the SL7 comes with 11 – 34 and the SLR with 11 – 30.
