This is the second of my cyclical adventures, a bike ride from the UK to Lisbon in Portugal in October 2022.
In this 5th stage I go from Gijon into Galicia, Northern Spain, following the Camino de Santiago del Norte through Sanitiago de Compostela and onto Portugal.
Completing the camino de Santiago was amazing and I met so many great people walking, it sometimes felt a shame to be cyling because I was always leaving people behind… Buen Camino!
Reaching Portugal felt like a big moment, the last country of the trip – plenty more great cycling through Portugal to come!
