How does the Venge compare to your normal Crit bike? Also, what bike do you actually ride on in the crits? Having seen the race bikes and the show bikes up close at Red Hook Brooklyn, the Specialized riders are definitely not riding the same Allez prize bikes set up as fixed gear in the races. The bottom bracket area, rear dropouts, and fork at least are different.
next time- lose the necklace…very annoying listening to it the entire time.
As cool as no-handed wheelies on a wet road are, I bet Alec could still do them with fenders and a saddle bag – pretty practical accessories for a couple long rides in the wet, eh?

Rim brake venge 2016 is faster than 2019 disc venge. Specialied lied than this bike is fastest they ever made.
