Road Cycling the Carpathian Mountains: The Paltinis Climb near Sibiu city. Cycling in Romania.

The Carpathian Mountains are great for road cycling. There are some really great mountain roads that can be climbed by bike. In this episode we will climb to Paltinis ski resort . This is located in Romania, really close to Sibiu city – former European Cultural capital city. The climb starts 18km away from the old city center and it takes you another 15km to reach the top at 1430 m of elevation.
Lots of hairpins, great asphalt quality and amazing views – this is what i call a great cycling climb.
There are many other cycling climbs in the Carpathian Mountains, especially here in Romania where I live. The purpose of this video series is to show you the most beautiful ones. Subscribe to the channel if you want to see them all and put them in your cycling climbs bucket list.
