MY LAST BIKE DAY IN GERMANY didn’t disappoint. (120km!) – My Bikepacking Trip to Copenhagen (Part 7)

Hi and welcome to my channel! My name is Elizabeth and on this channel I share all my bike and travel adventures 😉 In this video you will join me on my 7th day of my solo bikepacking trip from the Netherlands to Copenhagen. And this is my last cycling day in Germany! And as the title suggest, today is a wonderful bike day! I have beautiful weather and the landscapes and places are amazing. The day before I had a rest day and now I feel refreshed, which is nice as today I bike around 120km from Niendorf to Rostock.

hi and welcome to my channel my name is Elizabeth and on this channel I share all my bag and travel adventures in this video you join me on day seven of my backpacking trip from Netherlands to Copenhagen and today is my last bag Day in Germany after a nice rest day I bik from nindorf to Roso and I can already say it’s going to be a really beautiful L bike day so let’s dive [Music] in unlike yesterday today start with great weather however the night was as usual by now on my trips quite cold so slow and steady I get up make myself ready start to pack my tent and have some breakfast and for breakfast I have this chocolate especially made for bread that’s like amazing and I have these spread leftovers for my dinner last night after breakfast I packed my tent which had dried in the Sun and left this nice campsite as the weather was good and I had some new energy for my rest day I felt great on the bike and in contrast with the day before my rest day where I felt bored while biking and I wasn’t really feeling it anymore today I felt again I had a refreshed mindset which meant that I again really enjoyed all Landscapes and places I back through because look how gorgeous [Music] [Music] entering EO I approached some road work but when looking for a different route I ended up at this beautiful path so I wasn’t complaining about the detour [Music] back on the paved Road I crossed fim sto and after some more perfect bike paths along with a blue sky the route took me through this cute little place [Music] eventually this pad leted me to a back road along the coast which was stunning I just really love to be closed by water or to be on the water [Music] after some time I found myself in a small town and on a road with all kinds of small vegetable gardens and as a funny contrast a couple minutes later I entered this kind of modern bike Highway [Music] coming out of this nice park rosu appeared on the signs which however didn’t meant that I was already there I enter visma which turns out to be a really nice city with lots of people and a snack bar on a boat after some wandering around here I biked further as rosock was still more than 50 km away and as I left wisma I crossed an industrial area but soon after I was again surrounded by Nature including beautiful views backing through all these nice places and Landscapes I really feel the difference with the day before my rest day as I enjoy to ride much more again and I guess that the fact that this is my last day in Germany will also influence that feeling as I’m really excited for Denmark work [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] passing Klein stenor I encounter these funny dolls of straw which I just really liked and yep again I found myself on a beautiful path Crossing mondorf I ended up at this s path which was a fun change from the paved [Music] roads then it was time for lunch at this beautiful spot and my lunch was the left over pasta from the night before which I really looked forward to look how concentrated I am here food is a serious business but the people with some camping experience might already see a problem coming in this cooking setup there was too much wind for my gas burner to heat up my pasta so I moved my kitchen surprise it still didn’t work so I ended up eating my pasta almost cold yep besides the pasta I had for dessert the same sandwich with bread chocolate as I had with breakfast and it was perfect back on the road I backed through a forest said hi to some cows and horses and continued enjoying the beautiful weather [Applause] [Music] was the next to I passed which had a super cozy [Music] Vibe leaving this place I only had around 20 km left to rosock which felt like I was almost there so I try to enjoy every moment of this last psyching Day in Germany [Music] as I filled up my water bottles at a bakery I chose to treat myself a bit and bought something sweet for myself I however still don’t know what it is If someone knows how this pastry is called please let me know in the [Music] comments and not long after I entered Roso where I encountered this huge traffic jam that I luckily could pass with my bike the love kilm to my hotel the route led me through some beautiful spots in rosock and to the water side where I took a small break to enjoy diffuse [Music] [Music] after seeing some cool street art I passed this fascinating popup amusement park which was actually pretty [Music] big and along this beautiful Boulevard I also crossed a circus and a harbor with some nice or restaurants so I guess this place is a nice one to hang out for [Music] [Music] sometime not long after leaving the water side I saw my hotel on the horizon which made me very very happy knowing that I would sleep like a baby in a warm BS [Music] [Applause] tonight and there I was after checking in at the reception I cut my key and went directly to my room and there was my lovely room which made me very happy I directly took a nice shower and when finished I hang out my tent in the shower so it could dry refreshed by the shower I took a Metro and went exploring rosock and honestly this place really surprised me as I hadn’t expect such beautiful buildings and cozy atmosphere look for [Music] [Music] yourself there was even a cute Market on this beautiful [Music] [Applause] Square as I wasn’t really hungry yet I wandered around a bit in the city center enjoying the nice Vibe and the Beautiful architecture [Music] and after some walking I found this ice cream shop where I of course needed to have an ice cream and I chose the perfect flavor Mozart cougal which was fabulous while eating my ice cream I walked around a bit more through the colorful streets and along this funny colorful buz then it was time to get some dinner so I walked back to the square passing some cute streets at the square I found a nice spot where I ordered two dishes I did so because the prices of the dishes were very low and therefore I thought that it was the idea to combine multiple dishes for dinner however the dishes turned out to be quite big but they were delicious though after this lovely evening it was time to go back to my hotel and
