to win this stage I don’t think that’s going to happen look at how ragged end Almeida is this is his riding style it’s entirely different it seems to Adam Yates the way he approaches the bike when he’s towards the end of his resources Yates generally T stays incredibly smooth even to the very last amida often gets into this rock and roll style still very effective Brian but it kind of gives the lies to his fatigue you just know he’s absolutely on the limit well he can just about see Bernal uh in some of these kind of straighter sections because Bernal went through that that 1 kilm not that long ago so I think uh I made a noise that he’s got a little bit to do if he wants to try and win this time TR giv absolutely everything now Adam y looks so assured I must say a very different look to the way alida’s approaching this but we’ve seen over the last couple of days when the chips are down he really pulls back and pulls through well he’s been a spectacular performer so far in this race Al got himself a stage wind up forget into blaten second behind Yates on stage five and of course yesterday where he gifted in the stage we said if there’s uh only 4 seconds between them at the end he’ll Ru that decision he’s him he’s going absolutely all in here I expected away 500 just absolutely emptying himself 500 me to go I think be now went sight the finish and he is not far behind what he’s got that 31 second buffer so it just look as if he’s going to take the the overall title after saying yesterday he’ll probably get beat by a minute and it doesn’t look as if that’s going to be the case but it looks as if ala could be that that search towards the end which we he’s renowned for could be winning h on the day but not taking the yellow Jersey don’t forget there is 31 seconds between galz uh almea and indeed Elam Yates so that’s the cushion he’s got the clock will go red and then start counting but with 200 met to go Adam Yates is going to be our champion here he’s not going to win the time trial but he is going to win the Tour to Swiss phenomenal time trial by Adam H a remarkable run by Almeida and the pair of them so tightly matched over the entire run Adam y will take an awful lot from this and he’ll take our thanks as well phenomenal run by Adam Yates to the title here he is the torto Swiss Champion Shia Al MAA will be runner up but boy what a battle a pair of them have provided an honorable one as well no laying of blows upon each other honors even I think it’s fair to say ala takes this time trial his second stage win of this race and Adam Yates takes the title what a battle Brian that was brilliant yeah it’s absolutely dominant um by both of the Raiders taking two stage wins each in a night stage um stage race it could have been another but uh he just failed to to beat Tor in train uh sardo but you know he just they went all in you can see how much effort that took for for Adam y very close at the second checkpoint but ala he just finishes so strongly amazing amazing reserves like no others thank go like that [Laughter] sweat T Switzerland Champion how amazing how well done was that [Music] [Music] he looks remarkably fresh of all of those Riders who’ve crossed the line fastest to recover says a lot Brian as well yeah when you when you’re on good form yeah top of your game you do recover quite quickly um this man here however both of them going into toy France with this sort of form but joaa he must be the best at digging deep he knew he wanted to win that time tral he was a few seconds down and how where he gets it from it’s like a he drag a sprinter to the finish and he always Sprints you drag this man to an uphill finish and he finds somewhere in that kind of last few hundred meters absolutely incredible Rider as xiaa I love watching him and I think it’s to his credit look at that that moment of clarity as he crossed the line gosh a near-death experience Brian constantly with this man he is a phenomena yeah you’re almost you’re almost like you know passing out with the effort like this and that’s why they’ve got um people there trying to kind of push the Riders after the Finish but he went he he finds places that many riders have not even been to he goes so deep and all credit to what a mant have on your team likewise Adam Yates his class Supreme today just wonderful to watch and what a great battle it’s been between the pair of sha takes the final stage time trial 9 seconds clear of Adam y Shellos wins The Young Riders classification with a third place finish ahead of the B
