the last of four big climbing days on this year’s tour to Swiss stage seven destination villaa visiting AGA the head of the UCI and of course our teammates Shia ala and Adam Yates from UE team Emirates the favorites to take the title but which one and would they start attacking each other today well we started straight out of the back door of villa saw ol at altitude a quick climb up to ca qua a category 2 test then a long 35 km descent down to agler before we picked up back to the start Finish Line at V and indeed a full lap once more C laqua and Villa saw to wait quite remarkable what a course and I guess rapidly turning into what felt like the queen stage of the race after a shortened day the day prior this was not the longest day with 118 kilm of action but with nearly 3,000 M of altitude gain you knew it was going to be tough everybody did they also knew there was a great chance for a breakaway and the likes of r gara and Harrison wood desperately tried to tag on to the eight men up the road they though had settle themselves into a a rhythm Rubio from mistar down MIT was up there as well with visma Lisa bik behind them Indus grenadiers were doing the pacing well Yan christien from UE team Emirates had been inserted into the break rather cleverly almost giving an excuse for race leader Adam Yates not to push on with his team and so they were getting a free ride courtesy of course of Inus grenadiers B Pickering was up there for baring Victorious you saw that Valentine per PKA had a little dig marked out by Yan Christen Harold Lopez was up there likewise for Aston Kazakhstan and Mon and Van Hills from Lotto Destiny well the battle plan for IND his grenadiers seemed to be to get to the C laqua for the second time of asking and then indeed release Tom Pitcock on that 35 km descent and maybe just steal Victory well the Breakaway itself couldn’t decide on any cohesion and the strongest man seemed to be Johannes Stan mittet he went off after an awful lot of climbing already in the legs determined to get into that descent and then take on those intermediate Sprints and maybe maybe just bring it home the Gap though was never a huge one minute and 20 almost at its maximum and that courtesy of course of in grenadiers who were doing the driving they seem to be in charge of the peltin but a Wy game was being played by UE team Emirates Mark Hershey had been shredded at that point but he managed to get himself back on on The Descent a remarkable ride by by him and did U memor looking like a masterful master class being offered up so what could inas grenadiers do save for catch the remnants of the Breakaway was d m still off and up the road he was driving on to that Summit at the ca qua determined to take it and see just how far into the day he could get Super Bike skills by the youngster just making sure he was keeping his wheels dry bunny hopping over some of the running water on the course and then when we were down into agler itself ultimately there would still be one big climb to come up to vill itself on the Flatland after the big descent St was charging into what remained of the day Addy angles had been up just saying you’ve done an amazing job so far see how deep you can go and with 11 km remaining he still had a margin it was cut right back though he had gone through the tiso intermediate Sprint to win himself a watch humble prize I guess for St done so much and then almea attacked pushing on up the road Felix G was up there Adam Yates marking out just looking to see who would indeed make the move great to see Israel Premier Tech and the young American Mata rotello Bridging the Gap as well and it turned out ultimately to be a quartet that was soon to be shredded philis gal tagged and then The Usual Suspects Adam Yates and Alida riding on Good Company of course in the with the young American brilliant work by him could he possibly find something well not as much as these two they dominated this race so far U emerance and indeed that domination is continuing little bit of conversation between Adam Yates and almea as to who would take the stage and ultimately it will come down to mano Amano in the time trial on the final day they rounded the last few curves the Hornings being beaten and really it was a gentleman’s agreement between the pair of them handshakes and a Gentlemans excuse me Adam Yates crossing the line first but Almeida looking like he’s in the driving seat as the best time trialist amongst the pair surely this race is his tomorrow wonderful effort by rickell to come home for a fine third place on the day but just behind you see the white jersey of Shellos just making sure that he stays in the lead of The Young Riders competition Adam Yates a stage win also the lead of this race but for how long Yates almea rickell kelderman coming home in fourth place Ahad of Shellos Egen Bernal Onley pidcock and the rest a team riding within its considerable Powers phenomenal Adam Yates does lead by an enhanced margin going into the final day but Almeida is such a good time trialist Yates reckons he can take a minute off him on the last it’s it’s likely to be one or other of them tomorrow so we start off the last stage of this wonderful tour of Switzerland in AGA and after just 5 kilm we start climbing and that climb is absolute punishment all the way to the line Vaso once again you’ve seen the gradients you know what’s in store drama as ever here in Switzerland [Music]

    1. It's a huge performance of these magnificent riders ,if there were any doubts, we'll that's history, in this race these 2 riders showed once again they are the strongest ,but the tour de france is another level ,a 3 week race where a bad day could stop the goals that you had ,to get the top 3 in GC every single day you have to avoid errors ,a simple crash and that's it ,you're going home, the pressure for those who are there to win could be terrible, that's why is considered the best and most important race in the world!!!

    2. Great race, yeah, thank you riders for the suuuuper great emotions, Switzerland is a perfect land for cycling, big loving hug all riders out there, congrats winners, bravo bravo bravo 🎉❤🎉
