In this video I head back to Pitstop Training in Newport on the Isle of Wight for some more training for my Mod 1 and 2 tests. I was really excited about this session as Paul had mentioned that we would be going on a road ride rather than doing manouvres etc…. This was music to my ears as it meant I would be using a bigger bike on the road for the first time, which is great as living on the island we have to get on a ferry and ride 40 minutes on unfamiliar mainland roads to get to the MOD 1 test centre. It is rather helpful to be familiar wih how the bike is on the road. Sadly I made a mistake before we had even set off, which really turned what should have been a great ride into a bit of a stressful nightmare. Sorry Paul, you must have thought I was rubbish at taking instructions! We all make mistakes, onwards and upwards. On this ride I am using a Honda Hornet 750

You look so much more confident riding the 125 don't worry about mistakes on your first ride it happens bud keep up the good work
I passed my mod 1 and 2 couple of weeks ago. You definitely will do fine.
Failed my mod 2 today …….gutted
I made loads of mistakes on lessons and i didn't have such an involved instructor as yourself, mine was pretty dire and its the second bad experience i've had with him where instructions are often late and he's humming into the intercom or blasting past you on the left for some unknown reason guy is a bit of a bell.
MOD1 is booked for next month and i have another lesson as well as a lesson on the day so with a bit of luck i will get past it and onto MOD2 so i can be done with this long slog as i did my CBT in march of this year and its been one long haul due to availability of lessons to get to this point.
And you have a rather nice bike to learn on too. I'm learning on a gladius that has been beat to hell and back lol
Tommy your doing fine fella.. the key points l thought about on my test a few years ago were shoulder checks and cancel indicators.. when you do the test don't over think it you will naturally do the correct thing as the ride progresses…
You should purchase a zx10r and never look back.
I've got this to come on Friday. Starting the big bike training after 5 weeks of starting on my 125cc, Annoyingly it's cast thundery showers too!
You’re doin fine buddy, been watching you from the start of your journey, I ride every day n still make the odd mistake as most riders do. You never stop learning. Keep it up, you’ll be on that big bike before you know it.
👍
You are doing a awesome job, mate
