Hello, I am a modest cyclist, so I ordered spexcel jerseys and bibs.
How is the fit here ? Size down ?

And how to know if your bib fit is right? Regarding the chamois location and if the fabric should stretch around the chamois ?

Best regards and thanks for all the women posting lately I was inspired to get some colours for my jerseys.

    1. Definitely size down on the jersey and with the bibs you gotta see how crotch area feels

Size down on both IMO. You might even be able to go two sizes down.

This stuff should contour to your body, everywhere. It should stretch, and be *skin* tight.

See the bunching in your arm pits? See how its baggy in back? Look at the neck opening. Jersey is too big. For the bibs, you see the ribbing on the back of your legs? See how its bunching up in the crotch? See how the leg opening is flapping around? Too big.

Everything should be skin tight and difficult to put on. You need to size down.

Edit: For the bibs, you want that chamois waaaaay up your ass. The straps of the bibs should be pulling on your shoulders, sucking that chamois way up there.

      Sizing down for sure!

If your bibs are the right size, you should have to jump and wiggle to pull them up all the way.

Being too big could lead to saddle sores and jerseys are just more comfortable tight 🙂
