Don’t wash them yet. Buy some [Shout](https://www.shoutitout.com/en-us), spray it multiple times over a day or so. Hand wash them in warm/hot water in your bathroom sink, really scrub them and maybe use a small brush if you have one. It should get the chain grease out.
