In this video we ride our bikes from Dubrovnik, Croatia to Mostar in Bosnia & Herzegovina via the Ćiro trail, a disused railroad through the mountains which has been turned into a bicycle route. Because this trail follows the old train road it’s fairly flat, and quite enjoyable to ride after all the altitude of past and upcoming weeks. Some parts of the trail are easy going tarmac, other parts are very rough gravel, going through dark hand dug tunnels which are home to hundreds of of bats. We pass green valleys and mountainsides, with on them lots of ghost villages, slowly decaying with the elements, blending into nature.
