soaked in and being prepared three minutes in a [Applause] blender enough food in liquid form for cycling 100 km with no stop over we can trip equipment and clothing starting our epic 410 km we can gravel ride through challenging terrain there 20 km in I tripped over the bike and ended up in the ditch the adventure truly begins exploring the west of Lithuania we come across historic Stone build churches like this beautiful example we spent almost no time finding a new Forest Trail to ride through oh unexpectedly the road on our Trail is flooded by a small Creek the flooded Trail was caused by beavers blocking water flow we made a temporary Creek Pass using a couple of logs seeing the trees followed by beavers they look like giant pencils I grabbed my heavy gravel bike and dragged it over the lug bridge to the other side soon we were back on the trail cycling happily as we cycled through each Village the picturesque Landscapes made the journey even more delightful on one side a horse constantly feeds while in the distance another gallops joyfully across the expansive green pasture embodying the freedom of the open Countryside we ventured on to field roads used by cattle making a tough ride through the D of uneven riding through the cattle road every pedal stroke felt like a struggle stealing our breath away just when we thought we couldn’t go on we hit a swamp like section pushed our endurance [Laughter] to Jee every step had to be made carefully is you could easily sink knee deep into the mud [Music] once out of the wet Forest we quickly peddled through gravel roads it was getting late and we were nearing our first camp out the temperatures dropping to just 3° C in night falling we used a Forest camping shed to prepare dinner before quickly retreating to our tents the next morning we hit the trail brigh and early at 6:00 a.m. a man-made lake served everyone well a perfect spot for camping and swimming on one side and a hydr powered mini station on the other pedaling through Forest Trails along the edge of a steep drop the stunning views kept us motivated and on our toes under a vast Open Sky the endless Gravel Road stretched ahead inviting a to continue our journey through the Serene Countryside we reached the EUR river near tag whose name means a sea and began cycling along at Scenic Banks descending the steps to the river bank we prepared to follow the Tranquil flow of the jur river on our bikes we cycled past a peaceful picnic area in the park a perfect spot for a break amidst The Greenery we passed multiple picnic Harries like this but we had no time to spare sometimes you hit a culde saac on the trail like this one but it doesn’t stop us we eagerly returned to the forest muddy Trails navigating through puddles and rough terrain getting a fresh layer of mud on our Wheels as we pressed forward R in our fields we encountered a tranquil hurt of sheep grazing peacefully as we cycled past we reached a section with narrow swaying suspension bridges the thrill of Crossing them with the river flowing beneath and the bridge gently rocking added an adventurous touch to our journey 3 m continue to a Jeep we crossed many bridges over the ammina river whose name could be translated as a Rocky River each Bridge revealed more of the Serene Landscapes and rustic charm of the surrounding villages sign before the bridge says smell listen touch feel connect with nature and cross the bridge to happiness we arrived at latingal parkas a Serene park named after the nigh Andel laxed and glows that fill the area with their melodious songs known for its Lush Greenery and peaceful ambients the park is a popular spot for bird watching leisurely walks and picnics this park encourages visitors to engage their senses and connect with the natural environment a sign invites people to smell the fresh air listen to the sounds of nature touch the plants and surroundings and feel the Tranquility by doing so it suggests that one can find a sense of happiness and well-being metaphorically crossing a bridge to happer state of mind after circling the area we found a Charming shed where we could have our lunch and recup our energy before continuing our journey sometimes the hell is too steep to ride so you Dismount and climb the steps carrying your bike to the top riding through the hel for Forest we navigated narrow winding paths flanked by dense foliage the terrain was a mix of challenging climbs and exhilarating descents with every turn revealing the forest’s natural beauty the forest lakes are a Hidden Gem offering Serene and picturesque views with the sunlight filtering through the trees and reflecting off the C Waters these Lakes create a perfect spot for a peaceful Retreat amidst Nature’s Tranquility we are arrived at our second campsite for the night a cozy wooden shelter equipped with a fireplace provided a perfect spot to rest secure our bikes and recharge for the next day’s Adventure the next morning we enjoyed a hearty breakfast of avocado sandwiches with fish fueling up for the final 160 km of our journey after packing our gear we eagerly set off ready to conquer the last stretch of our adventure hpy gravel loose gravel and everything in between was on offer we started early at a time when cows are melt pedaling through a picturesque landscape we were greeted by vast fields of vibrant yellow rapes seed in full bloom stretching out to the Horizon under a clear blue sky the gravel road winding through this golden sea added to the sense of tranquility and beauty of our morning ride once we reached plun and enter the Lush Park surrounding the plun manor also known as the ainy castle we felt the Chic and elegant atmosphere of the area the beautifully maintained pets and Serene environment added aach of sophistication to our journey upon exiting The Manor Park we were greeted by my son and wife who joined us for the 30 km ride towards the platia lake adding a warm and Personal Touch to our journey uhhuh as we recycled from plun to ptii the stunning platia Lake came into view surrounded by Lush Greenery and Clear Blue Skies the lake with its Tranquil Waters reflecting the vibrant Hues of the landscape provided a picturesque backdrop to our ride towering trees line the shore the leaves rustling gently in the breeze adding to the Serene atmosphere the beauty of platia Lake combined with the fresh crisp air made this part of our journey particularly delightful filling us with a sensor piece and joy as we pad along at Scenic Banks the cycling pathway around platia Lake designed exclusively for bicycles and virtually free from pedestrians offered us complete freedom on our ride this dedicated path allowed us to fully immerse ourselves in the natural beauty surrounding the lake enjoying the Serene environment without any interruptions from traffic or crowds the smooth carfree Trail made for an exhilarating and liberating cycling experience allowing us to appreciate the stunning views and peaceful ambients of pla Lake to the fullest upon arriving at the northern side of platia Lake I secured my bike and eagerly walk towards the lake where Boats were neatly Park the inviting Waters beckoned promising a refreshing dip with the sun shining overhead and the Serene environment around I couldn’t resist the Allure of the Lake’s cool embrace even though the water temperature was a Brisk 10 degrees celsus the plunge into the chilly water was invigorating a perfect refreshment to a long and adventurous ride upon my return to the bike of fisherman struck up a conversation water’s still cold he remarked yes a bit chilly who I replied it’s only 10° he informed me what I exclaimed 10° he confirmed with a knob after my refreshing dip in the lake and a brief chat with the local fisherman we mounted our bikes for the final stretch the remaining 70 km flew by as we navigated the bumpy and loose gravel roads the rhythmic sound of our tires crunching the gravel combined with the Lush Greenery on either side created a meditative state of cycling Bliss the Sun was shining the skies were clear and the open road ahead seemed to beckon us forward making each kilometer feel like a breeze [Music] Boose gravel is not only hard to cycle on but also offers the dangers of slipping and falling in my case I nearly collided with my C traveler even a quad bike was having a hard time drifting as it overtook us the constant shifting of the gravel beneath the tires creat a challenging and unpredictable riding experience our trip concluded that the mesmerizing dancing fountain in Palanga a popular sea Resort town the fountain with its intricate water displays danced rhythmically providing a fitting and enchanting in to our adventure balanga vibrant atmosphere and the soothing sound of the water made it the perfect spot to unwind and reflect on the journey we had just completed e
