bonero from the north of Italy well at a rest stop to be precise we have a massive road trip ahead of us today 6-hour drive to the south of Italy the capital Rome for stage 21 of the jro Italia to find out how impressive this 3we Odyssey was by taty pachar and talk about the tur of France which is starting June 29th here in Italy in Florence because remember taty pachar wants to go for the double [Music] we have made it to Rome or well the outskirts of Rome for the start of stage 21 after a six 5 and 1/2 hours 6h hour Journey from the far north of Italy and and it’s here today where Tedy pachar Begins the last day of his journey of his Odyssey all around Italy and he’s dominated all the way around this country winning six stages five of those in the pink jersey the centa diopa stage stage two where he earned the pink jersey the massive peruja time trial knocking off filipo Ghana at the last minute to win the stage and of course that sixth one yesterday the Monte graa stage the guy has this jro Talia in the bag nearly a 10-minute lead over his next competitor Danny Martinez [Music] I mean it looks like T was kicking everybody’s heads in for three weeks and I was looking at the GC I mean he’s nearly 10 minutes ahead of Danny Martinez as we start the final stage yeah it’s just incredible like he’s been doing that for a few years now and yeah I think congrats to him he was he was on a whole another level from uh the other guys and it’s yeah it’s crazy to see but hard to imagine but uh for sure it’s special for him his Persona and his personality as a as a person as a bloker and how he is in the palat on I think everyone’s quite happy to see him winning so I think that’s also the pleasing thing that uh he he almost take takes the whole crowd in The Paton with him we’re living history you know some people complain that maybe it’s a bit predictive but you know I’m not sure they were saying the same when Merks was achieving similar results uh and I think you know we need to sit back and appreciate that such a phenomenal performances that Ted is doing and yeah this it’s amazing you ever climbing close to him and what do you see when you’re you know right beside him shoulder and shoulder I mean you just know that you’re you’re separated and he looks like he’s going easy so I think most of the Pelon would say the same thing as me and yeah I think when you’re at this level it’s almost different sport for him to play say yesterday I was uh I found myself in the Breakaway went started the the first climb on my own Tempo and I was waiting before the bunch called me and I have to say uh it was really impressive to see the speed they had on the climb when they were going up um I think today is uh really another level than uh than the others it’s impressive how he wins the GCU wins six stages do you think the t fance is something else when he faces off with Ren coonis and Primos yeah I think obviously those are the kind of big other biggest GC names in the in the sport you know I think the other GC guys that were here too are also uh at that same level and I think if he performs like this at the tour or even if he takes a bit of a step up then uh it’s going to take some really bad luck for him not to win yeah I mean with this guy he’s obviously an extreme talent and uh on on some really good shape and I think he will come out of this race in a good enough shape to then uh back up in front I think he is in another Stratosphere um and I think the only guy who’s with him there is vingard um whether he’ll be at his best for the tour I don’t know but you know um you know it’s like last year uh Tad got in injured earlier in the season and he still went yeah for me those two guys are in a category of their own but yeah I definitely think T has a very good shot if not the best chance of winning winning the tour of FR this year it’s always hard to compare like you know the best room with the best POG but uh I think POG is one of a kind really I think he’s best for for a long long time with the other guys in the tour I think yeah he’s he’s another level really I think only yonas can really uh you know no disrespect to anyone else but I think goes to a slightly higher level but at the same time it’s Sport and it’s cycling and anything can happen yeah I think was a good three weeks in general I finishing this jro like I dreamed about and uh yeah so far it’s really good preparation for the tour as well so finish today big ceremony in uh Rome for sure after the finish and then uh recover restart uh preparing just a little bit on T pachar Paul Mars twice winner of the tur of France in 2020 and 2021 he’s one the age best only age twice trat bian with an 81 km attack earlier this spring he’s made history here in the J Italia and it’s been like gar Baldi uniting Italy or like an emperor coming into Rome which is what he’s going to be doing today in this final stage now the Riders are about ready to take off T conquered Italy conquered its most famous bike race the jir Italia but in two months time what will happen at the tur of France we don’t know but we’re enjoying the moment now as they take off for the center of Rome

    1. When are we expecting time gaps to appear? I guess UAE may go full gas Stage 4 and see if Tadej can get a split before the decent? Other than that the Stage 7 TT…
I’m thinking the gaps are still pretty close between top 15 riders coming out of the rest day.

Jonas could definitely show up less than 100% and work himself into form. lol at least that’s what I hear people more knowledgeable about cycling than me saying!
