Many moons ago, I felt a similar pit develop in my tummy as O passed a speed camera on a road I travelled frequently. Until then I had been either in a truck or at a reduced speed due to tight finances following my fiancée’s passing, but on that day I was rushing to return the step children home to meet real Dad as they were going to stay with him for a week. A busy dual carriageway, reduced to 60 shortly before the camera, I had forgotten this & been dazzled by oncoming lights & missed the signs.
bare in mind the two flashes are 0.7 seconds apart at that camera
Flash! thinks, “Bugger, that’s gonna be costly, I should have known this!” “Oh…” flash, “Bugger!”
Not an absolute deliberate on my part but instantly recognised I deserved whatever was coming my way! Managed to get away with a course, 7hrs long in person at the time.
There’s always some excuse to try and explain what they’re doing is OK. It isn’t and loss of driving privileges is the only thing that people understand!!! Good job Mikey 👍👍👍
