UCI – Gravel World Series – Aachen 2024

In this competition in Aachen, I had a good average speed for the first two laps, but then in the middle of the third lap I got a huge cramp and had to stop and walk. Apart from that I enjoyed my performance and of course I have to thank my wife for her help in this race. Lots of friendly cyclists, good conversations and unfortunately I saw a lot of people falling. It was a fast course with some nasty surprises that a lot of people didn’t expect to become dangerous.
